I ordered a 10 inch pizza online and thought it was great! Reasonably priced, it came out quick, and was high quality. I like to order online and then sit outside or out of the way to eat it if I'm traveling alone. I sat in their enclosed outdoor area and they had all the good stuff at the table. Crushed red pepper, hot sauce, and even honey. The kid working the host area was friendly. I'll definitely order again when I'm traveling and need a post workout meal! Great experience. read more

Pizza parlor atmosphere and smells however... the pizza crust was like something you could make out of a box at home. Very disappointing given other reviews. It ate more like a cracker than a pizza. Music bingo night on Thursday's. Always a solid play. Eclectic pizza spot with great pie. Slightly loud as it's an old workshop but a great experience nonetheless. Service is always on point whether I'm at the location in Charleston or Greenville. Tonight we tried an appetizer and two pies. 1. Vegan "Cheesy" Bread - This is killer. They managed to keep the "fake" cheese stringy and full of flavor. Pairs nicely with the marinara they provide for sauce! 2. The Chauncinator - Marinara base, fresh mozz, double pepperoni and fresh basil. Think that speaks for itself. It was *chef's kiss*. The 10 inch fed me with leftovers to spare. 3. In Bianco - Olive oil & garlic base. Fresh mozz, ricotta and spinach. Got it without the spinach but I'm sure it's still great! The staff at D'Allesandro's are so efficient and friendly: makes a huge difference. The space is really great too. Outdoor green space for kids, huge covered patio, which is amazing, and open to the inside with a large pull-up door. They spring for live music now and then, which is a huge bonus, have beer and wine, and parking is easy (yay!). They also deliver within 3 miles. Oh and I forgot to say the pizza is really good! They have a kind of hipster ambiance with bicycle wheels hung from the ceiling, decorated pizza paddles that hold your pizza on the table, and just a casual environment overall. You can make your own hand tossed pizzas or choose from their wide selection of over a dozen specialty pizzas. The 10" pizzas are only $8-$10 and the large 16" ones are $17-22. They have vegetarian options as well as vegan options - I found out I'm a huge fan of tempeh! If you're indecisive, when they're not busy they'll let you do half and half. I was disappointed that they only had 2-3 beers available on tap when I was here since they were out of two other beers. They have a variety of canned beers though. - Public Educator - Got this was the tempeh and wow this was delicious! The marinara sauce and the red peppers were a perfect blend. A portion of the cost goes towards public schools also! - Red headed salami - Not the biggest fan of ricotta cheese on pizza. This was just an OK for me. read more

I just drove over 40 minutes to get here. I decided to after looking on Yelp. My review just was updated due to a "decision" for closing early tonight. Yelp indicated that the hours for closing were at 11 PM. Unfortunately they were closed at 8:25 PM. I asked the manager what there normal closing hours were & he told me 9 PM. Jokes on me because, I just drove more than I should have because they're having issues with updating the social media sites. Was it the best pizza I've had? No. Was it awesome anyway? Absolutely! Thin crust, creative combinations, lots of toppings, great service, decent beers, reasonable prices, fun atmosphere, and it's even in a great location! The cheese is phenomenal. I can't tell you how many places I've been to where the cheese tastes frozen. I had the Greek, which has feta and mozzarella and they were both delicious. The toppings were good. My chief complaints: I added artichokes and they were just ok, and They don't have Kalamata olives, which are my favorites! My wife ordered the Amy-which is normally vegan-but she asked for real cheese and she was a happy customer. Sje really wanted the toppings but not the vegan cheese. My kids are quite picky but they enjoyed their cheese pizza. Each table has something that I hadn't seen before; a full down pizza tray holder. Fun activities spot outside, as they have a stage for live music, tables, corn hole boards and other stuff. Kid friendly (inside or outside) and dog-friendly (outside). You can get decent pizza most anywhere in Greenville but this place is definitely top of the list for its great food, great vibes, and great staff! read more

We ordered from D'Al's for the YELP Big Night In Event. We ordered thru the YELP app and it was delivered by GrubHub. We paid extra for a topping but we didn't receive it. I notified GrubHub but haven't received a response. D'Al's pizzas were superb, as always but we miss the community spirit of actually dining at the restaurant. We thought this was a super idea to help our locals. I thought the Grub Hub fee AND the tip they determined were rather pricey. First spot I stopped at on my visit to Greenville. The atmosphere & vibe are so cool and relaxing. The pizza was amazing! I ordered the hyped experience but added spinach & green peppers. Had such a great spicy but sweet flavor. One of the best pizzas I've had! The fruit punch mimosa was very tasty & different, had kiwi flavor & was way better than the regular OJ. The service is incredibly slow, which is extremely unfortunate that's damaging the good pizza they do serve. If they improve on service then the place has huge potential to be the top pizza joint in the city. Hire more waiters to manage tables during peak hours and it's apparent that they are more worried meeting Bite Squad orders than customers here at the restaurant. It was bad that we had to go inside to vouch for drinks, get utensils, and take care of 1/2 of server's services. Service did improve somewhat as evening went on but the damage was done. I am a big guy and upon walking in, i felt like i was being closed into a box. The positive(s): Very friendly staff. Customer service was spot on. The openess of the kitchen was also appealing. You could see the pizza maker tossing pizza dough into the air - so cool to watch! Eclectic decorations gave the space a unique feel and really gave me something interesting to look at while waiting. A good vegan pizza is hard to find...but this place is YUM! FYI to my fellow vegans, don't check their website, but their facebook page for current menu. They have a vegan pepperoni pizza, as well as bbq tofu! Which I got on half of mine, it was delicious. But even better, they also had vegan cheezy bread! Say what?? It was sooooo good, much better than my bad photography here shows, excuse me, I was hungry! But I've been craving it all week since, and can't wait to go get another this weekend. So this will be my second local pizza place I've tried since moving here in June. This pizza was top notch. YaY! I finally have a great go-to for pizza delivery. See, when you move somewhere new your key go-tos are as follows - Grocery Store - Barber - Dentist - Mechanic - Pizza Delivery Spot Yep thats it. Thats the major stuff. So there you have it. I will continue trying other pizza places just because I'm a pizzaholic but this so far is #1 and it will remain my go-to. The mozzarella cheese has a slight smoky flavor to it and the sauce is rich and nicely thick. The sauce is not watery is what I mean by thick. The low moisture mozzarella stays on the dough nicely and holds up the sauce. The two flavors combined marry very well together. The dough has a good flavor. It's subtle but there is flavor there. Some pizza dough tastes like cardboard when you get to the crunchy crust but this must have been brushed with olive oil or it's the flour they use because it's not bland but it's not overly noticeable but it does have a flavor to it. The dough is cooked just right too. It's light. Just the right amount of crunch on the end and softness and chewiness throughout the rest. I like my pizza simple. I usually just get cheese but tonight I wanted a little extra pizzaz so I added red onion. That was a great choice. The onion was fresh and had that right amount of crisp texture. I've been here a couple times and have always been extremely happy with the food and drink. However, tonight's experience was a little upsetting. How would you like it if trash is being taken out right beside your table, floors are being swept right behind your table, and chemical cleaners being sprayed all around your table when the restaurant doesn't even close for the next hour. The entire restaurant was more worried about finishing up the night and leaving early than making sure the last customers, who were finishing 45 mins before closing, were satisfied. It has goat cheese, bacon & rosemary (though those flavors don't really have much power over the pizza) and of course, golden beets. Also, we discovered while my mom thought it could do with some sweet, that honey is great on the pie as well! I had no idea this pizza place existed. It's literally in a hidden corner. Pizza was delicious. We went with a big supper club group of about 20 women and the service was great. My friend and I split 2 personal pizzas because we wanted to try different options. We tried the pesto pollo and the big cheesy. Both were delicious! They showed no interest, or care. This will be my last time donating to D'Allesandro's.
