    Greek omelette and cheese grits
    Amy K.

Very quant little breakfast spot at the bottom of an apartment complex. Parking can be a little difficult due to the location. I really enjoyed the Greek omelette which was packed with olives (YUM!!!!). I had a mimosa as well that was well made. Nice place to grab a bite.

guys if u have never been here you must go. their food is so amazing and the drinks from the cafe are just perfect. even the fruit and water are so good. but the best part is the bathroom!!! they had hairbrushes and makeup and it smelled good and a full body mirror it was perfect. our lady was also very nice and my heart was happy after this meal

This is a nice coffee shop right next to a full restaurant. The coffee is great and offers a limited option of baked products. The ambience has a lot of natural ligh and common areas are clean. Staff is super helpful and friendly. 100% recommended.

    Shrimp and grits eggs Benedict
    John C.

Stopped here for brunch on a Sunday while traveling back home from Charlotte. As expected, there was a bit of a wait but we were fine hanging out. When we were called to be sat, our group and two other groups were all taken in. We were the first in line to be sat but the other groups were sat before us. Then, when it was our turn, a table wasn't ready so we had to wait a while longer. Not a major issue, but irksome. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits Eggs Benedict. It was clear that it had been sitting under a heat lamp because the hollandaise was dried on the plate and the eggs were totally overcooked. No runny inside to help with the dried-out grits cake. The iced chai latte I got from the little attached coffee stand was good. I think the other folks in my party liked what they got. Overall, I was just pretty disappointed in the experience.

    Traditional Breakfast
    Marica M.

We stayed at a hotel across the street and saw that this place was walking distance for us. We first came in on Friday morning and liked it so much that we came back the next morning to eat again! The first morning, I got the corned beef hash. It was pretty good and the portion was big! My husband got the eggs Benedict. The next day, he got the traditional breakfast which was huge! I got the croque monsieur. I loved the flavor of my meal but it was very heavy. On Friday morning, there was no wait and we were able to walk right in. On Saturday morning, they were very busy and we had to wait maybe 20 mins to be seated. The coffee was good and we had great service both days.

Amazing Raspberry Mocha Latte, great variety of different coffee drinks.
    Christin N.

I sat at the bar area and had a Raspberry Mocha Latte which was FABULOUS! I had the corn beef and eggs and it was also good. It was had shredded potatoes with small diced onions and peppers with the corn beef. My only suggestion is ask for it extra crispy as the potatoes were very white along with no crustiness on the corn beef. I had they rye toast which was AMAZING! They definitely must get it from a local bakery as it was thick cut and very fresh and delicious! Service was very quick as I did go on a Tuesday around 11am so they weren't that busy.

    Build your own omelet
    Tiffany K.

Came to eat here one morning because it is close to my mother's house and I have been plenty of times before. Our server was pretty rude. She barely smiles and talked with an attitude, maybe another table put her in a bad mood but it reflected very strong toward us. I always order the build your own omelet with the same ingredients, spinach, bacon, onion and green pepper but this time it was overwhelmingly disappointing. I think there were a couple of pieces of bacon, barely any spinach and tasted like scrambled eggs with a pinch of the ingredients. My previous visits they put enough ingredients in that you can taste them from edge to edge of the omelet (very good and healthy amount). I'm not sure if they are saving money or just ran out of ingredients from that morning but I wished there was more. Fruit was wonderful and fresh! I'll be back hoping there's more ingredients in the omelet next time!

Classic breakfast and a chai tea latte with vanilla from the small cupcake & latte shop inside

Always great service. Food is really good and the cupcake shop inside is really nice as well.

    Doughnut holes
    Taylor A.

Started off with doughnut holes- pretty good and they serve six pretty big ones. They come with a vanilla sauce you can dip it into. I kinda wish it was warmed up though bc dipping the hot doughnut in the cold glaze didn't complement it very well. The food was okay - the pancakes were a bit chewy. And the hash browns were super bland- I had to pour a lot of salt on. I liked their eggs though. Cool place and really nice service though.

Friendly servers, clean and bright dining area, well decorated, nice breakfast selection. Good tasting coffee and real cream folks. That was a nice surprise! I had the meat lovers omelette with fresh fruit, which was fresh by the way! Ashlee did a great job of serving us along with others. What's not to like folks? Give it a try!

    Pj M.

Ticked back as part of a new development this place is warm and friendly. Lots of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. Coffee is served with FRESH cream....really. I was very impressed. The classic breakfast was great. 2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon, hash browns extra crispy (but only on one side), 2 slices of toast (Apple Butter yeh haven't had that in years) Ashlee our sever was very efficient, upbeat and friendly. A table beside us had the chicken and waffles as well as the buffalo chicken sandwich and they looked amazing. Wish we lived closer to Mooresville, we would be regulars.

    Southern Benedict
    Malinda S.

Open for brunch, decent choices on the menu. Crowded and loud, great coffee and tea selection. The Bourbon Chicken and Waffles was average due to the chicken being too crisp and dry. Probably would get different meals next visit. They do take online reservations but not for Sunday.

Fresh Egg - Where Diets Go to Die (Happily)…read more Our group of 4 1/2 (yes, somebody only ate half their plate because self-control showed up late ) walked into Fresh Egg thinking we were just grabbing breakfast... and walked out needing a nap and a moment of silence. Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. Fresh Egg you cracked the code.

This spot delivers exactly what it promises, making it a reliable choice for the area. To start, the coffee was great--hot, fresh, and strong. For my main dish, I opted for a Western omelette. It was perfectly fine, a solid choice, if not spectacular. My husband had the egg, bacon, cheese breakfast sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I'm docking a star is for the side of corn muffins I ordered. They were, unfortunately, a complete letdown. They were hard, dry, and truly tasted like small stones. Even piling on the soft, fresh butter couldn't save them. However, the excellent service and the positive experience with the main dishes and coffee easily outweigh one bad side item. We had a good meal overall, and I would definitely go back again (and just skip the corn muffins next time!).

We came upon this place knowing it was in the area, and decided to try it. They allow you to seat yourself which is fine. They did not seem to be very busy at noon on a Saturday, but people were coming and going. All good. Our server came by quickly to ask about drinks and if we wanted any appetizers. We gave drink orders and said no to apps. It was the first time here, so I tend to look over the menu a little longer than usual, but, it was not that busy. The server came by to take our entree orders and we said we just need a few minutes to look over the menu. Within 1 minute, another server came by to take orders order. We said that we just told the server we need a couple minutes to look at the menu. I'm not sure what the rush was, but it made me feel like they must take orders immediately. For a casual place, with a great playlist by the way, they sure made me feel hurried. The first server came by in a good amount of time, so we finally placed our order. Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything looked really good. Nice portion sizes and the food was tasty. We got a summer lovin flatbread and the California panini chicken sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I wasn't too fond of the aoli. I thought it was a little thick. I think I would have preferred a honey mustard sauce for the fries. Also, the chicken was so thin on the sandwich you could hardly taste it. Sandwich was good but I expected more of a chicken cutlet as opposed to a flattened piece of chicken as you might get at the deli counter. My guy finished first, but I was still eating. The server comes by and asks what we're thinking for dessert. Again, rushed? I was still eating my lunch. We weren't ready to make that decision but now I wanted to finish and go, because, clearly it's the servers favorite table, and must have some attachment to it to be rushing the meal so much. I think the server needs to work on timing. If one in the party is still eating their food, would they really be discussing dessert yet? And to remind all who are reading: it wasn't a busy day yet. Only a few tables were occupied, so I will be docking a star for the service. Overall if not such a rushed experience, I would say: menu good, portions good, comfortable atmosphere. Nice place. Servers need extra training in timing and approach.
