Fancy Fruits and Produce has multiple locations and today I stopped by their location in East Orlando on East Colonial Drive. While the parking lot is relatively small, I was fortunate enough to find parking right in the front. In addition to fruit and produce, Fancy Fruits and Produce also has meat and general canned goods, spices, etc. Pricing is fair, though I was disappointed that some of the produce was borderline and was not as fresh as it could be. However, a bit of rooting around found a beautiful piece of produce. I did find it interesting that they had security standing by the exit. Is it for loss prevention or have they had other kinds of issues in the past? Things that make you go hmm. Ultimately, I would recommend here if you are in the neighborhood.

    Chicken feet- packed

This was a great find relatively close to home (Oviedo) to find authentic latin foods. I was particularly looking for chicken feet to make bone broth as it's commonly used in Latin America to heal your body from within. I called in advance to ask if they had it and the manager at the meat/poultry area confirmed so off I went! They had feet, chicken necks, ox tail... all the typical animal parts used in Latin food preparation. I also snagged some tequeños (queso and queso/guava) an a couple of other herbs for my broth. Parking in ample and right in front of the place. The workers are super nice and helpful. I'll be back!

Lots and lots of fruit at very good prices. Check out the pictures for prices and selection. The fruit is on the edge of being over-ripe, so come in and buy for the next day or two, dont expect it to last long like the under-picked Publix stuff. A huge selection of vegetables, ground-provisions (tubers), and some ethnic selections that I don't find on regular grocery shelves. Cheap and fresh, with good selection... I would not recommend the meats.

    Nasty avocado

Honestly, I'm considering not coming here anymore. When I come to a place that specializes in produce I expect them to have fresh produce. However, it seems that every time I come, which is often, the produce is literally rotting. Today, I needed an avocado and all the avocado were spoiled. One of them was about half good. I brought it to the register and tried to see if they can lower the price. The lady said she could only reduce it by 20 cents. The guy next to me who sells avocado in Philadelphia suggested to lower it to $1. She didn't bulge. Are you serious? who's going to buy it? It will end up spoiling completely, so what's the point? Make sometime out of it. Poor customer service. Also, one of the employees was cleaning with a machine making the customers move out of he's way. I know you want to go home but you should wait until you customer filled store empties out. The unprofessional staff and unfresh produce is such a dissapointment and I'm done.

Recently acquired Michelin Guide status this place lives up to the hype. We loved the pork sausage, burnt ends, Dino rib brisket and the Mac and cheese. All of the bbq was made fresh and tender. We liked the bbq sauces offered at the table as well. The interior features dining room tables, condiment station and memorabilia. The line moved quickly and is recommend coming early in the day or pre order if you plan on ordering a lot. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other seasonal items. Prices were fair and we paid around $30 per person for 5 bbq items and 3 medium sides.

The mac and cheese also left me wanting more it just wasn't as rich as I hoped. That said, their collard greens were outstanding truly the star of the show. And the butter gooey cake? That was a sweet win. I also tried their Frisco fries, and they were decent, but I wouldn't rush back just for those. The ambience is really laid-back. It's like any regular barbecue place. I saw at least 3 to 4 tables of people sitting down and enjoying their barbecue and they seem to have a steady stream of traffic. The cashier who is also getting our food order together seemed really nice. She had a great personality. I honestly don't feel the need to go back and visit again. I feel like I would enjoy barbecue more from four rivers.

Each restaurant and shop feels like its own little world, and you can sense it the moment you step inside. That's exactly what Gyukatsu Rose offers. Although the restaurant is located in the middle of the market hallway, believe me--you'll feel transported to Japan and completely forget you're in Florida. Their service will make you feel like royalty. One of the most interactive and delicious dishes is the Single Wagyu Set. You get to cook the Wagyu to your desired temperature right at your table on their tabletop grill. One dish that absolutely blew my taste buds away was the Curry Menchi Katsu. The Japanese curry flavors were incredibly well-balanced, and the katsu was perfectly tender. Every dish comes with an assortment of side dishes. My favorite was the rice topped with yakiniku sauce and egg yolk, simple but yet incredibly flavorful. To finish it all off, be sure to order the Matcha Ice Cream Brûlée. It's the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

There were many options on how to eat the dish and sauces to go with the proteins too. Overall amazing food for the price point. I wouldn't actually recommend the tuna since it was a little bland over the Wagyu.

The front staff remembers us every time we go. I am obsessed with the herbal and spicy hot pot, so I usually have them make it 50/50 mix. The vegetables are fresh and there's a wide selection of meats and seafood. I also like to make my dipping sauce with the garlic sauce blend. My favorite is the Galbi which is seasoned well. Both savory and sweet. Another obsession is the asago dessert which is a tapioca pearls, black beans, fruits and jelly in a sweet coconut milk. I really enjoy going here since it's a good alternative to other AYCE in the surrounding vicinity because of the better quality. Parking wasn't an issue either. As I walked in, I was greeted by who seemed to be the owner and a young woman. Very nice, lovely staff. Everyone was so sweet. My only issue was that they didn't have a good portion of their menu ready and it's mostly because they didn't have the gravy for their dishes. The ones we wanted came with gravy and the staff let us know they were behind on making it. So we pivoted and tried their prime rib smash burger but unfortunately that felt a little disappointing. For the price that it was, you'd think that you'd get a decently portioned burger or some sides with it but it was super tiny. And the bun felt like grocery bread, the type you can get for a home bbq. It was still delicious but rather disappointing at the same time. We ended up having to order a third dish just to feel satisfied and at least it was very good. The bowls are worth it, maybe not the burger but the bowls for sure! I also snagged up a donut and truthfully that is one of the best donuts I've ever had. Another downside to this spot and why I didn't give it a 4 star is because how slow the service was. We watched a whole family get up and leave because it was taking so long, I actually felt bad for the staff and owner. The place has great tasting food, just needs a little shaping up. Maybe someone who can run the kitchen as a head chef. Overall, I still recommend the place but just know that you'll be waiting a while and some things may not be available.
