    Grilled cheese sandwich
    Larry S.

I've eaten at East End Market many times over the years. One of my favorites is Hinckley s meats. That have some delicious sandwiches on their menu. Tonight my grand child was with me. She picked a grilled cheese sandwich from their menu. Being a kid she didn't finish it so I did. Great flavor of melted cheese. The bread was perfectly grilled.

This is a hidden gem. I don't want to post too much because if you know you know. If you happen to be at the East End market you will want to check this out. The Beef on Weck is one of the best sandwiches we have ever had.

    Smash steak sandwich

Stopped in for lunch today, luckily not very busy for 1:30 pm on a Wednesday. I ordered the steak smash, and shopped around until it was ready. The sandwich took about 10 minutes and I ate it in my car. Being located in east end market, you can shop around while you wait and take it outside if there are tables open. Overall the steak was good, but I feel like it wasn't evenly distributed, like the middle of the sandwich had a fair amount but the ends had hardly any. The sandwich was good but I was kind of underwhelmed for a $18 sandwich. I think it just needed more contents and the bread was good but a bit dry. I'd probably try something more creative next time the the duck and egg sandwich

Came by the East End Market one day with the goal of eating a little bit at a few different places. Well we chose Hinckley's as one of those place. We had never been, their menu looked amazing, and they had just fed Phil. Ambiance is a storefront, but there's a great little cooler up front with a glass window and lots of fancy meats inside. There's a drink cooler right next to that. And a friendly clerk right up front with a smile on his face ready to take your order. Service excellent. The sandwich didn't take long to make, and they bring it right to your table. They searched a while, but they found us. Really nice of them. As for the food, wow, just wow. It's not on the menu right this second, but we got a Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich with stuffing, thick turkey slices, and a cranberry sauce relish that was just a lovely sandwich. Stuffing is always good, the turkey wasn't dry, and the cranberry added a sweet tang that really brought me back to Thanksgiving dinner. Served with a brown gravy for dipping, a really nice little meal. Overall, this little storefront packed a lot of flavor into that sandwich. I'm dreadfully curious about the rest of their menu now. I applaud the simple menu, but done with probably high quality. I'll be back.

    French dip

French dip was amazing. Really high quality meat, cheese, bread, and pickle. Their roast beef and bread are house made from scratch. The quality ingredients shine. All in all, an excellent sandwich at a spot with no frills. Will definitely be coming back.

Pros: Very prominent location in the East End Market. You walk in the front door and bam, it's basically right there up front. And it's very eye catching, too, with the meat case right there filled with fancy stuff, drawing you in, getting you ready to order some food. Service was great. We ordered with the guy, and the same guy searched far and wide until he found our table and hand delivered our food. Awesome! Food was delicious. You can tell that every component of the sandwich was made with quality. Great stuffing, great turkey, great cranberry sauce. Cons: No cons. Very excellent experience. Tips: The sandwich we ordered isn't there anymore, but I can go ahead and guess that anything you order from here is gonna be delicious.

    Oxtail egg cheese sandwich

Stopped in for lunch and wanted to try a variety of foods. We tried the oxtail breakfast sandwich and it is hands down amazing!!! The oxtail has a great flavor, very tender! Would recommend this to anyone!

    Bourbon bacon sandwich

Prob one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have had here in Orlando. The bourbon bacon breakfast sandwhich is also very good. Tip ask for the bacon to be a little more cooked so you can get a nice crispy piece of bacon. The location is inside east end which is pretty chill. The service has always been good no complains. Grab a coffee a lineage and a sandwich here and enjoy any weekend morning.

Charming hole in the wall inside the East End Market serving freshly made sandwiches. Friendly and helpful staff. Loads of unique beverages, tinned fish options, specialty chocolates, etc.

This sandwich shop located in the East End Shops in the Audubon area of Orlando offers freshly made unique sandwiches. They are one of several counter service restaurants located in a food hall. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Melt $18. A little pricey but delicious. I expected a sliced fillet salmon but it was like a flake smoked salmon. We ate at the outdoor patio at picnic tables.

We got 2 different sandwiches. One from the breakfast menu and one from the lunch. From the breakfast menu we got the Bourbon Bacon. I am not saying it is the best sandwich in the world, because I haven't had all of the breakfast sandwiches in the world, but it is the best one I have ever had. From the lunch menus we tried the chicken salad sandwich. It was fantastic. It is refreshing and delicious. We got some additional salad to go. The staff was super friendly and helpful. East End has nice outdoor seating.

A cute little kiosk located on the first floor of the East End Market. You order at the counter and wait around inside or outside at the many tables this market has, for your food and drinks. When I come, I usually just grab a couple beers from the fridge because everytime that I am here, there is always a handful of new beers that all seem amazing to try. The staff have given me their favorites and recommendations as well and more times then not, I have gone along and tried what they said and ended up loving the drinks. They support many local breweries here and while some of the beers are a little pricey, it's justified because it is a small shop as well as also supporting local businesses! They have a ton of different sandwiches and meats and cheese that you can order by weight, which is really cool and there have been things I have never seen before on their menu and behind their refrigerated deli selection. Super friendly staff and some good drinks and food as well as great prices will keep me coming back here everytime I make a stop at East end market to support local businesses! #41

Came to try the "famous" lemon chicken salad sandwich. Every one is so nice, and sweet. Ordered this whopping $18 sandwich, and it was ok. Lots of chicken for sure, good quality, fresh. Needed....i dont now, more flavor? A little salt. Definitely not worth $18. But decent sandwich

Inside the duck hand pie. Loaded!

First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

We were in Winter Park for the afternoon and looking for a good, affordable lunch. I'd heard about…read moreBricks & Bowls before (as well as the Ghost Kitchen concept), so we decided to give it a try. I was immediately drawn to the Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich. I noticed they offered a Boxed Lunch combo that included a half-brick focaccia sandwich, a choice of side, chips, and a cookie. Under the Soups & Sides section of the menu, I saw soups, salads, fruit, chips, and bread listed, so I asked if I could get the Kale Caesar Salad as my side. I was told it wasn't considered a side. That struck me as a little odd since it was listed under "Soups & Sides," but I didn't press the issue and instead ordered the sandwich and salad separately. I do wish there had been a sandwich-and-salad combo option, especially since it's Florida and 100 degrees outside--hot soup wasn't exactly calling my name that day! The Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich was a bit dry, and I didn't notice much Swiss cheese or enough ghost pepper bang sauce to add much heat or moisture. On the plus side, the focaccia bread was fantastic, and the sandwich was piled high with sliced chicken. Even the half-brick size was plenty filling. The Kale Caesar Salad was much smaller than expected and, ironically, seemed like it would have fit perfectly as a combo side. It also contained more romaine than kale, with just a sprinkling of baby kale on top. The Caesar dressing, however, was excellent--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. At $6 for a small bowl, I was hoping for a little more substance. I also treated myself to the Belgian Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookie that would have come with the Boxed Lunch combo, and it was outstanding. Soft, gooey, and packed with flavor. Bricks & Bowls has a pleasant outdoor seating area in a courtyard setting, with tables shaded by large umbrellas. Just keep in mind that there is no indoor seating, and even with the shade, it can be pretty warm during a Florida summer. Overall, it was a decent first experience with some highlights and a few disappointments. The food had some strong points, particularly the focaccia bread, dressing, and cookie, but at around $20 for a quick-service lunch, I left feeling that the value didn't quite match the price.

The focaccia bread was great and we really loved the peppercorn caeser dressing that came with the salad. My sandwich did not have tomato listed, but did come with tomato on it which was a concern because I'm allergic, but I was able to pull it off. Could have been more of an issue for a different patron, though! The guys behind the counter were very efficient and friendly, but didn't know what was in one of the sauces, which was again a concern for me with a tomato allergy. Overall, the food was super good and we loved the outdoor space, but we may not return!

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.
