Recently I was on the hunt for a new nail salon. My previous nail salon was "old school". But, I had a few problems that I could not get over and just didn't want to go anymore. A friend I work with recommended her salon, Cream Nail Bar. I've been 5 times and currently sitting here enjoying my first pedicure with Jenny. I was able to make an appointment fairly quick. My first appointment was with T. She was great! I then was with Phoebe. She was awesome as well. Another appointment I was with Kokes. She was fantastic too. Of those three they all do nails a little differently. Nothing negative. You just have to speak up and talk about what you are looking for in your nails, and find your tech. It's nice having a plan a tech, plan b... ect. I guess that's the military spouse in me. All three respected and delivered my wishes. I average a nail appointment 10-12 days because I have nervous energy and end up picking at them. I am also hard on my nails. I do housework, clean, cook, garden ect. I just like them to look nice. All three were ok knowing they would see my face 3 times a month. My money, my nails. I average $50-$55 for a fill. A little higher than I've paid elsewhere. I've never seen a price list for my manicure/nails. But, I enjoy the service and quality. My pedicure will run me $55-$60 today. I've enjoyed it so far. Overall, a wonderful place for your nail needs. I highly suggest making an appointment and booking future appointments. I've found my new salon. read more

Overall I wasn't that impressed for the price. I had read a lot of referrals to come here and I tried it twice. The first time I went in, I didn't feel welcomed at all as a new customer. It felt as though it was like some sort of high school clique and I was intruding on their (the employees) space... I'm way too old for that. Examples: shooed to the back to wash my hands, nail tech was too busy talking on her phone or coworkers to even ask how I was doing. I went ahead and made an appointment to come back for a fill and another pedi. The second visit was better than the first, but still nothing impressive. During the second visit the nail tech did remember me and spoke to me a bit more this time. Having spent the last 25 years moving all over the country, I've been to a lot of nail salons in a lot of different states. For the price Cream charges for a full set, I'd expect to also be offered a drink, a manicure (take care of the cuticles at least), and a hand massage. Upon checking out I wasn't offered to schedule another appointment so I decided two tries was enough and I'll look somewhere more inviting and hopefully more affordable in the future. read more

I was hoping this place would be my go to nail spot, but after my very first experience ever getting my nails done -- and done here.. I'm afraid it won't be. My nail tech was nice, although I don't remember her name. $110+ for a full set (dip + gel) and a pedi (French tips + gel) My nail tech recommended an ombré French tip set and everything took around 2 hours and some change. Cream is a modern, minimally decorated nail salon and they seem to get quite busy which is good for business, but it feels like it's lacking something. The interior is small, so it's good they work off of appointments and the parking is shared but neighboring a Food Lion that you could park at too. Over the phone they explained everything with great detail and setting an appointment was with ease. When it came to actually walking in for the appointment they did not seem beginner or first timer friendly. If you are a first timer, you walk straight to the back, wash your hands, and then look at colors while you wait (: It's stereotypical for nail salons to gossip and judge their clients, but I had high expectations for this one seeing as they were helpful and seemingly nice over the phone. Shortly after walking in, they gathered and laughed. I was the last customer in there and everyone before me was offered to schedule another appointment but that didn't happen with me. Jenny, one of the owners, took my payment & tip, didn't look up at me once or care to offer a reschedule, and just rushed me out the door. YouTube helped me figure out how to take them off, they didn't bother. So, going off first impression and my experience, my business will be taken elsewhere. read more

Sleek, stylish, clean and inviting. Those were my first impressions walking through the door on a Thursday afternoon. My annual "treat yourself" day might become a monthly after finding this place. 6pm on a Thursday is super busy. When I arrived, I told the receptionist I was scheduled in with Maddie but was told she doesn't work Thursdays - essentially, they were fully booked and no one would be able to take on an extra gel mani. I sat for a few minutes as a plan to fit me in somehow was conjured. Luckily, Chelsea (or Kelsey? I wasn't told her name, I'm so sorry if it's wrong!) got me in and within 15 minutes, my gel mani was done and I was out the door. She was very friendly, but understandably rushed as her original 6pm turned up late and she took on someone else in between. Regardless, 5 days in, my nails still look awesome, thanks! The interior decor of this place is stunning, all the staff seemed very friendly and knew their clients on a personal level which is always a good sign. After my last unhappy review, I received a message from the store owner on it. She basically said she wouldn't have known the issue if she never got the review. It made me reconsider my last encounter and how I felt. I should've thought about the owner not knowing about what their employees are doing. So I decided to give them another try. I'm so glad I did! I received great service from the phone call to the service. It's clear they did not know about the receptionists activities. Cierra did my pedicure and she was GREAT! So personable. She made me feel like we were great friends and she gave me an amazing pedicure. I'm so glad I gave this business another chance. I've been trying to find a nail salon that I felt comfortable in. The nail drills give me anxiety because I've had techs drill into my skin multiple times and I've given chance after chance to different salons because of recommendations from friends. I took a chance on Cream because of the reviews and I'm so glad I did! Kyoko took her time with my nails and I knew right away from watching her work that it was going to look amazing. I've only had two appointments but I'm set on making this my go-to spot. The atmosphere is very chill and inviting. They seem to really care if your satisfied with your nails unlike some other experiences I've had. My first set was done by Yana and my second by Maddie. If they had better customer service they would be my go to. The nail techs offer services that are not on their menu of services and wont give you a price when asked about it previous to appt. They booked me with someone on my appt I didn't ask for. Like I said I called about a text I received about confirmation for my upcoming appt. I asked how much the service was going be so I had enough . She refused to give me info on the service. I spend almost 140 every time for just a full set , design with gel. The tech I had , offered to do a built up on my natural nail to last longer. Which is why I was returning. This place is popular for their work but customer service is not it, at all. For being a business owner myself , customer service is everything. I will never return here. I made an appointment about a month in advance and had to reschedule twice. They were helpful all three times I called. I got a full set for my birthday and I'm so happy with my nails!! The tech found the colors closest to what I wanted and did great on my designs. Thank you! Edit: While I was getting a fill at a different place, I realized they didn't trim my cuticles or give me any lotion after. The experience here is great, but I got a gel polish on toes on Thursday. The paint was off on my big toe on Friday, went back today to get it fixed (free of charge). I literally went at 4:30 pm. I really want to like this place I have been here twice and been stuck with the same lady. I was hopeful after making an appointment I would get somebody different. I paid for a gel mani anD walked out finding all over my finger tips, and the nails have areas that are bare, and they are not painted very close to the cuticle. I stopped in to this nail salon when my usual place was closed for some sort of family emergency. It's a cute, sleek and stylish place. I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to accommodate me fairly quickly. My nail tech was friendly, and my pedicure took about 40 minutes. That was a bit quicker than I'm generally used to, so I was a little surprised, but overall - efficient and the prices are comparable to other salons in the area. My issue came up later when my polish held up literally only about a week -- usually when I have my toes done, they last 3-4 weeks on average at my other spot. So, a good experience, but for me the duration of the color staying is an important part of the process since I only treat myself to a pedicure about once a month. read more

The shape was so flat and the gel color was chipping within a week, I went back for a fix and they charged another $15 to fix the faulty application. Came across this salon here on Yelp and so glad I did. With the advice of the first reviewer, I looked them up on Instagram and immediately called to make an appointment with Maddie. I called around 11:30 on a Thursday and got a same day appointment for 5:30. I also asked for a pedicure and eyebrow waxing which they were able to accommodate. Fast forward to 5:30, Maddie was still with a client which wasn't a big deal for me. The salon was very modern, quaint, and clean!! Huge plus. After about 10 minutes, we got started. I originally asked for a full set but she advised me that there was no need to rip off my acrylic and put on new ones so I appreciated that. Saved me time, pain and money! I was very pleased with the final product. Nail color is OPI gel "Love is in the Bare". I also got a milk and honey pedicure, plus an eyebrow clean up by Elaine (I think that's how its spelt). My pedicure ended at 7:20 and I was out of the salon by 7:30, 30 minutes after closing time. Mind you, not once did I feel like Elaine was trying to rush and go home for the night. Came in for mani/pedis for girls day out. There were 3 of us and they had us come back an hour later - when we did they were all ready for us. I Had the jelly pedicure - and it was amazing. I got to soak my feet in bath of warm jelly substance that felt really nice. The massage chairs worked well, even a little bottom seat action (surprised me at first but I just went with it).
