Do not get your hair colored here!!!! I went in for a hair color with highlights a few weeks ago. Also had my bangs trimmed and 2" taken off the back. I had showed the gal a picture of the hair color my previous stylist had done so she could get an idea of the color I was looking for. Which was a medium blonde with light tones. When I left my hair was WAY darker like a dark brown. Not what i asked for then they charged me $ 197.00. WHAT A RIP OFF. read more

Nicole was very thorough about making sure my cut was even. She was super nice, asked me enough questions to where I felt comfortable sitting in her chair (but there wasn't too much small talk), and she gave an EXCELLENT head massage with the shampoo. read more

I don't get my hair cut very often ,I'm basically a lazy wash and go ,blow dry,flat iron and curl on weekends type of girl! But when I do occasionally cut my hair I love Shay ,I won't see anyone else at this location. They are always pretty busy so glad you can make appointments but they don't have a great seating area for you to sit while you wait though,not enough chairs. Sometimes they seem short staffed but who isn't these days? Easy parking as based in strip mall. read more

I went in to just simply have my ends cleaned up. no added layers, nothing extra. Amber chopped long curtain bangs and added very blunt layers?? I was so confused, it was the opposite of what I told her. I went to my normal stylist and she was horrified. I've been going to this shop for a little over two years. Great service, excellent cuts by Brittany. I have very "difficult" hair to cut. It's thick and curly. I usually end up very dissatisfied. I'm 62 yrs old, so I've had my share of bad haircuts. Not here! Not from Brittany! I just found out she's no longer there, and I'm so sad! Just called to ask about a shampoo and blowout. The girl who answered was short and rude. She could only tell me that it was $49 an hour for it but couldn't tell me how long on average it takes. I went in expecting my hair washed and conditioned as Fantastic Sams advertises, and they have always done for me. She sat me down and put on the cape. I was trying to explain to her what I wanted. Really just a basic trim and that I had been working to grow my bangs long. I was expecting her to take me over and wash my hair. But she started cutting. For the record she was very nice to me. But she really just combed my hair and trimmed the ends. Usually the stylist will go through and even things out in sections. And lastly she trim a chunk off my bangs. It took about 6 minutes. When I got home I could see how uneven it all was. I asked her if it was less if she didn't wash my hair. She nicely said "No, it's the same price. I'm sorry did you want your hair washed? I can do it now." By that point I was already disappointed by the whole thing and just wanted to go see work with my hair to see exactly what she did. I will say I usually go to the Andover Fantastic Sams and they do a great job. :( Bummed read more

If I could give you a negative rating I would. I gave you over a week to right your wrong and you did nothing. You offered me $5 off my next hair cut, to me that was a slap in the face (which was basically what your stylist already did to me). $5 off is a joke, I can get $3 off in my subscribed email or newspaper. If anyone is reading this, and you don't want to be abused by a hair stylist then I would ADVISE you to NOT see GRETE! Here is a list of what she did to me: choked me with the cape, dug the comb into my scalp over and over (I had a migraine the next day because of it), made me stand to cut my hair, continually pushed my head around to where she wanted it, pushed my back forward aggressively so she could reach my hair, dug the comb into my head some more, cut wayyy more hair off than we discussed, almost ripped my industrial earring out several times, and ripped my other earring out. Please do not comment and stick up for this stylist. If you are someone from fantastic sams, I advise you to not comment, because I gave you the chance to make it right. I was told twice the owner would call me and he did not. I will never go back to another fantastic sams again after being treated like this. This was upsetting, especially when the other stylists are sticking up for each other and saying she didn't realize what she did. If anyone else had seen the look on GRETE's face, they would have known she knew exactly what she was doing. We have all had bad days, but we don't take it out on the client or customer. If we did, we would no longer have a job. If you are going to run a business and expect to have customers, you make it right when something goes wrong. I just hope something like this doesn't happen to a child. read more

If I could give less then one star I would. Thia store and the so called stylists there are horrible. I took my daughter and the guy was rude and fast. Her hair didnt get washed, the cut was beyond uneven. When I took her back asking why he said what dont you like? Um if this is what you do for a living I can see why your such an angry gay man. He was extremely rough after I told him to fix it. My daughter has Mark's on her neck from his comb. Called and the manager said she would talk to him. Um no let him go he does a shit job and why should anyone have to pay for that or deal with that. 3 other woman came in and had to be fixed as well. The manager clearly doesn't care as she offered me nothing. Better business bureau will be contacted and would love to speak to whoever owns this place. Absolutely disgusting behavior and unacceptable. I want my money back including my tip. He is very lucky I didnt call the police for the Mark's left as they were uncalled for.
