There is a bathroom through the first glass door, just ask the receptionist! The woman who did my wax did not introduce herself but she was nice. We walked into the room and she told me to get undressed from the waist down. Other places I have gone, step out of the room and then come back. So this felt a little weird getting undressed in front of her, but she's going to wax my lady bits sooooo I guess who cares? Hahaha She also asked if I had gotten a Brazilian before and asked where. When I told her she said kind of judgy "oh well I've never heard of them." That place is also highly rated! But I decided to try a new, since this is closer to my home. The wax was a bit too warm for my liking but did not burn. You can tell they do these all day because it went quick! From the time I went back to the time I was done with a full Brazilian plus butt strips- about 10 minutes! When I got home, I noticed there was a little wax that had been left behind, nothing I couldn't take care of. The price was also a little more than I am used to. They do have "packages" you can purchase though to make it a bit cheaper. Overall, I would use their services again. They have many services. Definitely worth checking out.

I was warned of the post treatment burning sensation and of the possibility of inflammation. Those both happened to a degree which I don't feel I was warned about. On day 6, I developed what I thought was a rash/infection by my mouth. I contacted my doctor since it was a Sunday, and was advised to be seen in person. Turned out that I had gotten shingles (I have been vaccinated)! I was prescribed an Antiviral as well as some ointment. I had also sent an email to Belladerm. They did contact me on Monday and offered to call in a prescription for an Antiviral. I feel like some sort of partial refund for the issue would have been an appropriate gesture. I will say that my skin tone from the treatment is a little better, but not TWO THOUSAND dollars better (plus the cost of the doctors visit and prescriptions). It was not money well spent. I did learn my lesson.

Plentiful free parking which is great and I just checked in at the front desk of the hair salon since they also do hair services. One small touch that could be added would be something like a warm tea being offered while you wait or after your service. I was offered water though which was great! I was told the service took the same amount of time, which I understand; however, only one color was added while my existing blonde was left as-is. Although it initially looked fine, once my haircut was completed, all of the blonde was cut out. Given that Kali knew I was also getting a haircut, I expected more of the blonde to be preserved. When I expressed concern, I was told there was no time to correct the issue, so I scheduled a correction with another stylist. When I returned to the salon, the environment felt uncomfortable and awkward. Kali was present but did not acknowledge me, and I was never made aware of who the manager was. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially as I was always punctual and consistently tipped at least 20%, including for the correction. I could not wait to leave. The total cost was $232 (including tip) for a retouch with no highlights, despite being charged for them, plus $141 for the correction--$373 total. I ultimately left with brunette hair, which was not my expectation. I did go to Salon Adagio for the correction with Olivia, and I was very happy with the results. I wanted something curlier and she said no because my white hair would frizz. I only have white hair around my face - the rest of it is brown. She also put WAY MORE hair in one roller than I thought she should. I got a perm twice a year - EVERY YEAR - from 1976 til about 1992. I also like a stylist that will talk to me a bit. The stylist I've had couldn't wait to get away from me and to her phone or whatever else. I DID get 2 perms (that pretty much fell out 3 months in) but I won't be returning to this salon. If I'm going to drop $250+ - I'd like to get what I want and have my stylist actually talk to me a bit.

I scheduled an appointment with her for a full balayage service on my grown out hair. Prior to my appointment I had sent her an inspo picture and when she was finished it was way darker than I had expected. I was immediately unhappy with the results, and contacted her within 14 days, expressing my dissatisfaction. She assured me to just use a purple shampoo and to wait for the toner to fade out and that the color would correct itself, this did not happen. I continued to contact her the next few days, explaining that the color was not changing, and by that time, 7 days had passed, and she told me that due to her policy, she would not fix my hair for free, she offered to fix my "money piece" for free. and I would need to pay for a color correction. I tried to be understanding and decided to give her another chance. She squeezed me into her schedule, rushed through it, and wasn't able to allocate the time necessary for my hair to process. As a result, the top half of my hair didn't develop properly and the appointment concluded, leaving me with brassy orange in my hair as opposed to blonde (see pictures below). Keep in mind, this was after she fixed it. I scheduled a new balayage service with her months later and shortly after, I contracted COVID. Despite quarantining for two full weeks, I continued to test positive, and so I reached out to her at least half a week in advance of my appointment, with these details, asking to cancel the appointment until further notice, and requested that she refund my deposit. She refused to work with me, stating that a policy is a policy, and that rescheduling, even this far in advance, would be a strike against me, and she refused to return my money. She has been extremely unprofessional and is not very understanding. As someone who works in the beauty industry myself, I would not recommend working with her for hair services.
