We had so much fun and it was therapeutic after a stressful week (and it's only Wednesday)! Tonight was Ladies Night so there were special rates. There are other specials throughout the week and month so check the website. Do make reservations. Along with axe throwing, there's corn hole, giant Jenga, arcade games, and other free or inexpensive things to do. We took a tour of the various party rooms & they look like so much fun. Great place to have birthday parties, casual business gatherings, hang with friends or a unique date. One of the things that I really like is that you can BYO food, drinks and adult beverages. They do have a cooler with beverages that include craft sodas, boba, energy drinks, and more. Light snacks are available, too. The decor is a meld of a warehouse with rustic lumberjack accessories and furniture. The cages are named after roads and places in Hershey. The place was clean and inviting (as inviting as axes can be). Sorry, I didn't take pictures because we were disconnecting from the phones for a few hours. As for the location, it is tricky to find. When you turn off of Chocolate Avenue onto N Street or Orchard Street, then tune Left on First Street (an alley) go to the end of the road & it will be on the right. The physical location is not on Chocolate Avenue, but one block behind it.

The attendants were very attentive and encouraging to us first-timers all at the same time. It was my first time throwing Hatchets. My husband had experience throwing stars and found it to be very similar. Being new to this type of activity, we did get a quit 'how-to' lesson prior to being cut loose to throw. I had a bit of a hard time 'catching on' but still hit the bullzeye a good number of times before our hour time-slot expired. We found our joint booth spacious, as were the other booths at this location. The entire facility was well thought-out for maximum occupancy while keeping patrons completely safe. While there were other other games available to play (cornhole, jenga, etc) we didn't stay long enough to play them. We DID have a great time and will definitely be back to perfect our skills! Another plus: you are allowed to bring your own food and beverages, alcohol included! They do have a limited choice of sodas & water for purchase, as well.

While it was tricky to find any information about the facilities or any customer reviews, I was able to make a quick reservation through Facebook Messenger the night before and received a prompt response. When my friends and I arrived for our reservation at noon we were greeted by Sam, a young Axe throwing expert, and his mother who instructed us on proper axe throwing form and safety. They were both friendly and kind and we had the beautiful facility to ourselves for an hour to play games and work on our technique. We also used the Jukebox to play music and really enjoyed our time there! Due to Covid, we all wore masks but were allowed to remove them once we were in our designated throwing area. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for fun covid-safe things to do in winter!

This time my son and I made swords. We had someone help us at every turn so we didn't mess it up. My suggestions on improvements would be: Make it more obvious or even just a sign on where to put jackets/purses as we didn't notice the tiny hooks under the tables until we were almost done our 1 hour round. I also thing rounds should be 1 An hour and a half or so because we did feel kind of rushed and didn't want to stop long for chit chat or discussing each others performance. And considering is such a social atmosphere thats kind of a bummer. I would absolutely look into a PoS system for the tables for score tracking and drink/food ordering. Along with touch screen projectors. I know they exist not sure how accurate they'd be with axes. But I'm sure someone has done it. And considering how quickly this activity is growing the only way it's going to stay alive is to innovate and make simple quality of life improvements. Its the little attention to details that end up staying in peoples minds and making them want to come back. And lastly MORE ADVERTISING! Every person I told about our weekend plans had no idea you existed. Add pictures to your Apple Maps/Google Maps location. Purchase a simple ad campaign for Hulu, Snapchat, and Youtuve That will be shown to people in our area. Even try and figure out a way to give out a free Snapchat filter for groups of like 10 or more. Hire a marketing person on Fiverr and make a plan. It's worth every penny.

I feel like the game masters can make or break an experience. The room was awesome. Very well decorated, good ambience for the type of game we were playing. We needed quite a few hints to get going, which is completely fine. It was difficult to tell when a door or cabinet or drawer unlocked and opened because you couldn't hear it. It was a tough game but we love a good challenge. We did not escape this game but it would have been nice to have been greeted afterward to say "good job," but we were met with the same Young lady opening the door, without a word, we left. Id recommend giving the players an idea of how they might be successful next time or at least telling them thank you or have a good night. I also think asking if people would like a picture at the end of their game would be awesome. Overall it was a little disappointing because the rooms themselves were awesome.

We paid $40 for a private booth but were the only customers in the facility. So the extra $40 was wasted. She signed us in and then stated that she would be next door with another group in their escape room during our hour on the axe throwing lanes. Half of our group had never been axe throwing, she barely showed or explained throwing and was out the door. I have been to other businesses before and it was customary for them to stay with your group, ensure everyone was successfully throwing and then lead some games. Instead, our hour and $212 was wasted trying to learn on our own. I would never visit here again nor recommend.
