I love trying out local places when I travel & Yelp pointed me here for a quick breakfast due to the great reviews. Sadly, I found Fantasy Donuts to be unremarkable. Upon entering, there was one employee yapping away on the phone having a personal conversation in a foreign language, barely paying attention to us as we ordered. All caffeinated drinks were self serve, as we were pointed towards a machine, where we had to go searching below the shelf for our own cups...would've helped if the guy behind the counter had just handed us cups based on the drink size we had ordered. The donuts were fresh, but were merely average tasting run of the mill donuts, where you'd probably find something similar produced in bulk by a supermarket bakery. The bagel sandwich was also unremarkable, doing the job of filling the stomach without inspiring the tastebuds. I guess the rave reviews could be because Biloxi doesn't have any breakfast offerings which strive to deliver a better experience, or perhaps the palette of locals is geared towards average tasting donuts & breakfast food. A second employee (possible co-owner) did make sure to smile and welcome us back, so customer service wasn't a total loss here. Fantasy donuts is sometimes the only bright spot in this area. It's dependable and well made. The local Shipley donuts is decidedly not. The staff are always incredibly friendly and will often sneak in an extra donut into the order for free. It is very clean inside although there is limited seating. They also offer savory breakfast goods and boba. They run out fairly early due to their immense popularity so at the latest be there at 9-10am. Prices are low so an engaged couple could imagine a fun tower of donuts as a cheeky accompaniment to their big day. It's one of the few things in life that is not depressing or complicated just well made goods produced by good people at more than fair prices. The parking lot is small but there is a drive thru. Please take care to not run over any of the adorable squirrels who occasionally run through it, they are just innocent little guys who do no harm. In town for business and hoping for a little fun, I brought my husband here as a ruse for getting his coffee and I could have donuts. Yelp posted that they were open till four. We arrived and their door said they were only open till two. Even though it was after hours and rainy and cold, the locked door was open to us! This a review for the keesler af base fantasy donut shop that just opened up and part of the same group. I have been twice since they opened about a week ago. I got a breakfast ham sandwich. You can tell it's made that morning and then they warm them up in a heater if you want. The ham is good but a little to sweet. I also got the apple fritter but it was thin and hard, good but not what I am into. The second trip I got a breakfast sandwich/thing that was filled with eggs ham bacon and sausage. This was pretty dang good and filling (will get this again!)...I also got this one donut that was supposed to be like money bread but to be honest it tasted like a bunch of donut holes smashed together that you could separate. The coffee is community coffee brand nothing to write home about but was cheap at 1.29$. Overall good quality but just not my type. read more

I love this place!! Wasn't expecting too much but I was wrong and its a must try! We used to drive all the way to ocean springs for great donuts but not anymore. Donuts are super moist, apple fritters are crunchy and not too sweet. All of the goodies we bought tasted fresh, no matter what time of the day you buy em, and will remain moist/crunchy(apple fritters) even if consumed later or the next day. Owners are genuinely super nice as well. I will continue to support this shop, and you should try it too :) I just wish they would stay open later for I prefer to treat myself in the afternoon instead of in the mornings. read more

Great little breakfast shop within minutes of hotels off the beach. The owner was super polite, very sweet and quick. The Pinecones and Apple Fritters were my favorite part.
