The best donuts on the coast! They are made fresh everyday! Do yourself a favor a swing by for some outstanding blueberry cake donuts or some old fashioned chocolate glazed donuts. The staff is super friendly and the prices can't be beat! I normally go and get 6+ donuts, cinnamon twist, bacon egg and cheese biscuit, coffee and that's roughly $10. They make their donuts fresh everyday and they taste fantastic! To me this is a donut place worth the drive! Don't believe me? Try it out for yourself! Kolache, kolache, kolache, kolache kolache, Medusa head on me like I'm Illuminati. Long Beach Donuts may be named after the soft doughy items cops love to eat, but that's not why I go. I much prefer the soft doughy kolaches stuffed with jalapeno and cheese sausage. But here's the thing, they don't call them kolaches. They call them pigs in a blanket. Silly Mississippi. So what is a kolache you ask? A kolache is a super soft bread type roll with some sort of meat inside. I think the original kolaches had fruit, but no one really cares about fruit. Meat is where it's at. LB offers regular sausage with cheese, jalapeno sausage with cheese, and boudin filled kolaches. As I mentioned before, the jalapeno are my choice, but the boudin are a close second. The boudin they use is very similar to the kind you find in Lafayette so I am curious where they get it. Not curious enough to ask, but curious nonetheless. Service here has always been incredibly friendly. The owners are always on hand and go the extra mile to make the customer happy? An example of this extra service is that the male owner always puts a half dozen lagniappe donut holes in the bag for my youngest. We love this little donut shop! The staff is so friendly, the donuts are fresh baked daily, and they are conveniently located. We prefer to support local, and the owners are such a sweet family. This is our go-to for treats-I think their apple fritters are the best around! The breakfast croissants and biscuits are excellent, too. They are great for calling ahead for a big order as well, like for a school function. :) read more

I gave them 2 stars because they're donuts and it's not like they made me sick, also they put some donut holes in our box. Also though these are expensive donuts. I love this place. I work in Ocean Springs and eat the famous Tatonuts regularly. The doughnuts here are every bit as good. The staff are cute and friendly and efficient though their English is limited. They are ALWAYS open. I don't know when they sleep. They make a nice assortment of non-doughnut food too. The bacon, egg, cheese croissant is excellent. There is some great home made salsa available (tho they won't mention it unless you ask) which tops off the sausage egg burritos nicely. There is even boudain in a blanket alongside the pigs! If they are out of what I want they have quickly made it several times. And the place is clean. The only other doughnut shop in Long Beach smells nasty. I can't stand to go in it. read more
