Terrible. Service was rude, and the gel didnt even last three days. Overpriced for terrible product. Avoid if you can.

Worse experience by far first off the whole first half of my pedicure they tried to convince me to get a more expensive service, they continued asking to the point I felt extremely uncomfortable as I kept telling them no. They seemed so bothered to fix any mistakes they made. At one point I painted MY OWN NAIL because she messed up did not clean her mistake and processed to just put polish over the whipped off clumpy nail polish. This place is an absolute mess and need better management. A shame cause the location is really nice and the establishment and set up would make this a very popular nail salon. Learn better customer service. And improve cause you are not tapping into your potential with this location. read more

DO NOT COME! DO NOT COME! The worst SANITARY PRACTICES EVER! Came to get my toes done, I was midway through the service when a customer walks in to get a touch up, my tech leaves me waiting for about 15 minutes fixing the other girls nail (okay strike 1) I patiently wait and try to relax. I was watching the tech, she then proceeded to come back to me and resume my pedi with the same gloves as she was fixing the other girl, who she fixed her nails with the same gloves she used on my feet, touching the money the lady paid with giving her change and then coming back. (NOW THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE GROSSEST THING EVER; spreading bacteria) I abruptly stopped her and said, can you change you're gloves... she seemed a bit surprised and then was like oh yea yea yea. Instead of relaxing I came here to worry about my tech changing her gloves and leaving me halfway through a service. Not only that but as soon as I was done she proceeded to just fill up the feet tub with water again and put a different client in it. (How about quickly wiping it down with a napkin and disinfectant or something? The picture I have attached is the already used equipment that she tried to use on my toes that clearly wasn't sanitized. I will def be going to a different nail spa next time. I came here because no appointment was needed, but next time I might just book an appointment at Woodhouse Spa pay a little more and be insured of a more sanitary practice. read more

Fantasy Nails and Spa of 13804 Georgia Ave Aspen Hill... where the Nail Tech Naomi actually LISTENING to what you want... is a total Fantasy! The ONLY reason why my girlfriend went to this Spa is because her first three businesses were all booked, and it was close by. Yesterday my girlfriend had her lashes and nails done. Naomi asked do you want this color? My girlfriend clearly said, "No". Then Naomi asked again, do you want this color, and again my girlfriend clearly said, "NO." Then Naomi proceeded to put it on anyway, after TWICE saying NO! My girlfriend as her lashes were being done by Naomi, told her to stop and wait because her eyes were too watery. For a third time in 15 minutes Naomi DID NOT LISTEN, and continued as she wanted. The eyelashes fell off a few hours later. When we arrived home, My girlfriend had to correct a 4th mistake that Naomi made. The nails looked like actual bird talons, and corrected it herself at home. We both agreed that after the corrections, that it was a better job than what Naomi did. Naomi also FAILED on the facial too! She left more that 12 blackheads, 6 were quite large, completely untouched. Like the many other dissatisfied customers on this page, Naomi ALSO made my girlfriend pay before asking "Gel or regular nail polish" Naomi also didn't know how to use the SIMPLE CONTROL for the back massage, that a 5th grader can do! My girlfriend was Naomi's last customers of the night, with plenty of time before closing, and there was no need to, but Naomi RUSHED anyway with her work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We came back today to have Naomi fix the lashes and nails from her multiple screwups the night before. NONE would have occurred, if Naomi just would have LISTENED to what the customer said. NO MEANS NO! Naomi asked me if I wanted a Pedicure while I waited for her to correct the multiple messups on my girlfriend, I gave a quick "No." In between fixing the mistakes, Naomi came over Again, and asked, Do you want a Pedicure. I gave a louder, "No!" Fifteen minutes later she came over a third time and asked if I wanted a Pedicure, "NO!" I GROWLED! Naomi said that she was done. *** As I was waiting, by the front desk, I witnessed two white girls in their 30s, and one black lady in her 40s all complain *** Another nail tech wanted to "fit her in" between two clients. The customer said, "No, you did that before, you rushed, and it was a bad job." As we we walking out, Naomi asked a FOURTH TIME if I wanted a Pedicure when we come back, "NOT A CHANCE! We're not coming back!" Look at all these negative reviews from so many different people who don't know each other! Look at my negative experience with her. NO WAY I'M ALLOWING MY GIRLFRIEND TO GO BACK THERE! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So we are sitting in the car in front of the Salon, and we realize 30 second later, after the 2nd time Naomi was "Done", that SHE MESSED UP AGAIN!!! This was honestly the worst salon experience I have had. I got full set with gel , the tips she was using didn't even fit my fingers, she cut me with the nail file . Didn't cut my nails the length I wanted . My pedicure she tried pushing me to do a service I didn't want then told me it was what my sister does but my sister doesn't even do pedicure. Didn't clean my toes up and when I asked her about she said it's fine . Over all was not worth $70 , I have never paid that much before either . Recommended going to Saradet nail salon read more

The first time I went I had a 5 star experience getting a full set of tips with gel from Naomi. She was very kind, gentle, and left my nails looking natural. They also lasted a very long time. I then went to get a fill in with someone else. I didn't exactly catch her name but I know it began with an L. I want to say LuLu? Anyways, not only did several nails not look good, she also hurt me a lot leaving several scars neat my cuticles. I was very disappointed. I am a timid person so I never said anything to her, but I truly was in a lot of pain. Ask for Naomi and you'll have a wonderful experience. The inside of the salon is very nice and clean. read more

Worst nails place I've ever visited. As soon as I said I did not want a gel manicure the lady who did my nails was not happy and try to cut corners in doing my nails and dismiss me asap. Even though I insisted on having the cuticles removed, she did a very poor job and was determined to dismiss me the faster she could. I have been here before and didn't realize this since my past and last visit here but the staff is racist. I went in with a friend of mine intending to get a regular manicure. They asked if it was just one or two people getting their nails done and I told them only one. Then they rushed me to pick out my color and then pressured my friend to get something done as well even though we both told them that I was the only one getting something done. This started to make me uncomfortable but the worst part about this visit was when I was picking the colors a technician hovered over me watching me while my friend and I picked out colors. I insisted that if she didn't want anything then she shouldn't but she was very uncomfortable and felt pressured because of her previous interaction with the technician. Then we both noticed that this technician that was hovering around me continued to do so, paying close attention to what I did with each polish. Being a black woman I've had numerous racist interactions with people and this was another time. I decided to leave knowing that they were not worth my time and money. read more

I've been going to this salon for about 4 years and the service and quality has gone down tremendously. The salon is gorgeous and clean but the service is rushed. I stopped going for a while and went back last weekend for a pedi and gel manicure because I was in the area. Lucy serviced me and it's almost as if she didn't want to be bothered. My nail polish is bumpy, my toe nail polish is coming off, 2 nails have already broke. The worst experience ever. Needless to say I will not be returning to this salon. First of all, If you LOVE yourself & care about your nails, peace of mind, time, and do not want to develop a migraine headache I would recommend staying FAR AWAY from this establishment. I had a cracked nail so I decided to stop here since it is close to my church. I brought my younger sister with me, and it was her first time getting a gel manicure (so she was a little excited). I got assigned to Linda who did my nails so roughly and filed them as if she was trying to sand down a piece of wood. I did not like how the other employees talked so loudly and interrupted me while I tried to let my nail tech know what I wanted. The nail technician doing my sister's nails finished them so quick, they looked decent but I was still skeptical. I walked out of the nail salon and my nails looked ALRIGHT, when I got home I realized they were rough (as if the polish was old), and a few nails were not even fully polished, with some even starting to peel at the edges. I called and a manager told me that I would have to come in that day or soon, and that maybe I should not have put on lotion then I wouldn't be experiencing problems. Mind you, I did not apply any lotion the nail tech rubbed oil on my hands before I left. The next day I returned to have them fixed. The manager instructed Linda to fix my nails. I told her I wanted someone else to work on me because Linda did not even look like she cared that the work she produced less than 24 hours prior looked like it was 3 weeks old. The employee who fixed my nails tried to use every excuse in the book---my natural nail is too rough, my nail is curved, the polish is too thick, my nail is thin. None of the reasons she gave explained why my nails looked like I did them myself with my eyes closed. She continued to polish my nails, I saw bubbles in the polish as she cured each nail, some nails were not fully covered...Just like Linda's work. Then she continued to try and blame me, didn't bother to listen to anything I was saying, and to top it all off one of her coworkers was doing a paraffin pedicure and tied the plastic wrap so tight that it cut off the customer's circulation. The customer began complaining and everyone ignored her including the technician taking care of her. I stepped in to ask if they were going to get the manager and they all just stared at me. I felt so bad for this woman, her pinky toe was red and she complained of pain in her whole foot. My nail technician told me to ignore and the other employees claimed the manager was "busy" and just let her sit there. I have never been in a situation where people providing a service just have no care in the world for how they treat others. ALL the employees here could use a crash course on customer service. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone even if it was the last nail salon on this earth. read more

Only reason i gave this place a star is because it was the lowest rating. DO NOT go to this place unless you want to waste money. The pedicure job as decent but during the manicure job the tech pulled too much skin and made me bleed. As my hand was covered in blood, she continued to finish the other nails, then had the audacity to clean my bloody nail with acetone. On top of that, i had stopped her from trying to put nail glue over the cut to stop it from bleeding. The nail tech proceeded to try and convince me that it would heal faster after multiple times of me refusing. Needless to say, I will never go back to this salon ever again. read more

I got the house a year ago very near from fantasy nail, I'm regular customer of both shopping center because giant and Kohls are there and today take the worst decision in my entire life! I went there because I want to get my nails pretty for new year as soon I arrive there the lady ask me what I need I told her that I want to get the manicure and pedicure special and full set, she ask me if I want long nails and I say not to long. She talk to me RUDE, RUDE, She took me to sit to start to do my pedicure, she started to talk in Chinese with other lady beside I can't tell what but was sometHing bad she look angry, but I though wasn't about me because I was talking on the phone, when she finished my first foot, I ask her if she don't going to put some soap or something in the water that she was using for my pedicure because it was pure water... Nothing else, and she said do you want soap? I said yes. When she was done with my pedicure she told me that I can't get my manicure, because I want full set I told her that I always did that Before at fantasy nails Takoma park and the other two fantasy nail salons at Georgia. She went to ask to someone when she returned she looked very angry like if she hated me for making her work more... And told me "she gonna make your nails don't move" pointing at another lady. She left me there she didn't give me or put pedi slippers on me and I though the other lady was going to do it. But nop the lady was more terrible she just told me over there pointing at the chair. I took my stuff from the ground and moved. After sitting in the chair I asked if they don't have any pedi slippers and she replied " you get your own"and I say yes, but I can't wear mine, because my slippers are to tight and she replied But no, we don't" I told her that it was my firs time in that place and I was unhappy with the service and she stopped to take off my old nails polish and told me IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY, DON'T DO YOUR NAILS HERE. I told her just finish and she replied I Don't want to do it and I said let me pay and where is the manager she said " isn't here" and I asked this store doesn't have a manager here? She just turn around. I went to pay and the lady at the front just said sorry... I didn't said anything just pay and left But here is my the most important thing. This place is absolutely disgusting and the service is beyond terrible. The place is so dirty-I don't think the floors have been cleaned since they opened the place. How the health department hasn't shut them down yet is beyond me. Issues: 1. Polish is old, dated, and clearly past it's prime. They only carry outdated OPI. 2. The pedicure chairs are warped, non functioning, and sticky (gross). 3. The workers barely speak English, do not bother to ask you any questions as far as service is concerned, and rushed through the entire mani/pedi. Did not receive a hand or foot massage, zero lotion, and my nails actually look WORSE than they did going in. 4. Zero hygiene skills or regard to professionalism. Most of the workers were slumped over sleeping in the pedicure chairs or actually full blown laying down in the facial/eye brow chairs and taking a nap. 5. Their food and drink is everywhere. I watched a worker finish waxing eye brows and once she was finished, she set up her entire lunch on the waxing station. She didn't even bother to wash her hands let alone have any concern for hygiene safety of the waxing sticks/pot. Pure disgust. 6. I went to leave and remove my hands from their nail drying area.. too bad my hands actually STUCK to the grime and layers of stickiness. That was it. I go to Lucy and she does a great job on my pedicure. She is thorough. The posters on the front windows clearly state the special prices are for Mon thru Wed only. Can't be sure how someone could miss that. No, the place is not the most modern, but it is clean and if you want fancy then you pay $40 instead of $20. I'm treating my cousin to a gel fill there next week with Lucy so we'll see how that goes. read more

This place is my neighborhood nail spa! Always clean and very friendly and welcoming staff. Tina does a great job and ensures the equipment is clean and sanitary (I am very sensitive to infection but never had an issue); her careful hands make the pedicure soothing and calming! I have come without an appointment and they always accommodate me. Yes they offer services beyond the basic mani/pedi but you can always say no or ask for the price before committing. read more

So I haven't been here in a while, but it's a disappointing experience each time. I used to think they were a fairly clean place except this time I saw a roach run into the towel cabinet. As well as one technician was putting the towels away when another was eating fruit and wiped her hands on the towel and it was put in the cabinet anyway. Then I had gel left on a few fingers and they put foil on it. Well I go to pay and they charged me $10 to take the gel off of about 4 nails! I have never been charged for that. When I got home I have to refile my nails b/c they where not smooth and take off polish thay was on my skin. I do NOT recommend. read more

this salon doesn't even deserve ONE star, the only reason one star is still there is because I couldn't post this without a star rating. not only are they extremely unsanitary but they're the RUDEST nail techs I've ever encountered. I got my nails done here and the first lady who did my mani/pedi was sweet, so she is excluded from this complaint, my toes look fab. However, I didn't like the way the polish on my hands looked so I decided to get them redone and they all acted as if it's not their job to satisfy a PAYING costumer. the lady who re-did my nails (an elder pregnant lady) redid my nails and literally almost took my whole fingers home with her. my fingers are in so much pain from "cuticle cutting" that it makes so sense. I then proceeded on to asking the young women if they had change so that I could tip them. one of the technicians named Tina, was going to give me $40 in $1 bills............. the only young lady who I asked told me I HAD to give her the money before she could give me my change (which was in THE RUDEST manner EVER), then when I finally went to the manager to get change, she threw the money in front of me instead of handing it to me in my hand like a well mannered HUMAN BEING would do. So they only woman that got tipped was the sweet elder woman who did a fabulous job on my toes. I will NEVER give these women my money or recommend them ANY clientele, they are rude, eat with their mouths open WHILE during your nails, & literally force themselves to cut your cuticles.
