I came here for a perm about a year ago. The perm has been amazing, and the experience was quick and friendly, so I have been coming ever since. Tandi was able to get my virgin BLACK hair to silver (ombre) in ONE session! He honestly had higher expectations than I did for my own hair , but I really appreciate him for it and love the end result! It was getting pretty late and I told him that I was happy with how light it was already and made motion to leave, but it wasn't perfect to his definition yet, so he worked on my hair for another hour on top of the many hours he had already spent on my hair. The end result came out looking fantastic and I'm so grateful I found a stylist who is super hardworking like that, because I have really stubborn hair and I wasn't even sure if it was going to be able to get this light without breaking. He knows what he's doing when it comes to hair and plus is really funny to have as a hair stylist, which was especially welcome since I was going from dark to light in one session and would have been bored otherwise. Danny is my go to guy for a cut, styled, and I loved it! Especially after having cut my own hair for a year because of the pandemic (and living with the consequences lol). He was the gentlest EVER, and he kept asking if she was hurting me by pulling my hair/making me too hot with heat styling. Danny is pleasantly patient and listens to what you want. Also, gives recommendations on what looks good based on your features! Every time, I am in his chair I just feel so at eased and something dose off for a few minutes or two. Just that magic touch, I guess! He takes his times, always asked if you like it or not, if not he fixes it until you are satisfied. Great Customer Services Danny! These are the reasons why I and my daughter keeps coming back to you. We could not ask for a better hair stylist! I highly recommend Danny to anyone who wants their hair cut to their liking. He will NOT disappoint you! They all wore masks, customers were apart, and the chairs were sprayed and sanitized after use. I felt safe! Wow! You cannot get a better deal anywhere else. I called and just to shoot my luck if they have available spots for today or tomorrow and they said they can do today! I went in and Danny worked on me right away. My hair is up to my butt and have about 50 shades of brown and red from DIYs... I was honestly nervous since I know I messed up my hair and have red spots all over so the highlights might not blend well. But Danny and Tandi worked their magic and my hair never looked sooo good than now!!! I love it so much thank you Danny! It's always funny too bec I been going to this salon for like 2 years now but I'm always treated like a new customer haha can't blame them they're always too busy but always willing to accommodate and give you the best results for such a good price! So sad that I'm moving to Chicago but I think I'd still go to this salon if I ever have the chance to visit my fam here in SoCal. read more

I've been cutting my hair here regularly over the past year or so, and I can't recommend it more. I usually have my hair cut by Danny. He's attentive to details and always checks to make sure I'm satisfied with my cut. I've asked him to make minor adjustments sometimes (often to cut a little shorter - I think being a little cautious with cutting too much length is a pretty good thing with barbers, in my experience) and he has never been impatient with me. I think they are also the most affordable place I know for haircuts - prices remain pretty stable even though everything is getting more expensive. If you are particular about what you want, make sure to bring a photo for reference! read more

After 18 years my old stylist moved out of state, and I was in dire need of a hair cut, color, and treatment. Finding a hair stylist is a tough job! I did my research and found Fantasy Salon 4U and the one and only amazing Tandi. Firstly, I highly recommend making an appointment and clearing your schedule so your hair artist can work their magic! Artists should never be rushed when working! Tandi was completely honest with me, and recommended a hair treatment for my damaged hair. I love his realness and his positive synergy! Tandi is very nice and funny and gave me a lot of recommendations on what kind of products to use for my hair! He works fast and makes good results. I didn't want too much of my length taken off and he showed me how much he was going to cut off before he started. My hair feels very refreshed! I found this place on yelp and looked at the store info features indicating that "Walk-ins Welcome". When I arrived, Tandi corrected me that they're only "welcome for consultation", which is indicated on store info specialties. My mistake! Luckily, he was able to squeeze me in later that day even when I initially came in the morning. Know that Sundays are super busy! So definitely make sure you call and make a hair appointment! Before the haircut, my hair was not layered and I had no bangs. I asked for curtain bangs and layers, which was what I got exactly! The $25 service came with hair washing, hair cutting, and blow drying. Side note: I love how they asked about the hair products I use (head & shoulders) and suggested a far better hair product (tea tree shampoo) that'll best fit my scalp and hair needs. I don't trust a lot of hair salons with my hair but they did an AMAZING JOB! I am definitely going to come back here maybe for a balayage because the reviews for it looks so good! :) read more

I think the guy who did my hair is Edwin! I went in not completely sure how to describe what I wanted. I showed 5 different pictures and then we settled on one picture to refer to. I mentioned I wanted purple peekaboo coloring and that I wanted to be able to hide it for work if needed. 7 hours later I had gotten my hair bleached, colored, washed, cut and styled to the first photo. Absolutely love how it turned out. He took care of my hair to make sure it stayed as healthy as possible and showed me what to use to maintain the color. I paid $280 for this and would definitely recommend to others. read more

OMGoodness ... this place is amazing! Tandi (and his crew) are so knowledgeable with hair and hair color that they were able to fix my daughter's hair color with no orange, brassy reddish strand at all. She is now back to hair root color with highlights and it looks amazing and perfect as can be! Danny was the stylist and he worked on her hair to perfection! I'm one satisfied mother with a happy child who's ready for her 8th grade graduation! Thank you again Danny and Tandi for your recommendation and expertise. Danny is an amazing hair stylist. He is super careful and takes his time to make sure you are satisfied with your hair. I'm an introvert so I prefer not to talk during my hair appointment so I do appreciate that he doesn't try to small talks with me . I had the worst experience ever at Fantasy Salon 4 U this week. Not only did a normally three hour visit for a cut and color take SEVEN hours, but I also experienced racism AND was unhappy with the uneven dye job. I went in for a balayage to get a brown/caramel color and left with streaks of intense, uneven blonde in the middle of my black hair. I was the first person to receive service at the salon at 10am and ended up being the very last person to leave at 5:30pm. I was left unattended at the hair washing station (keep in mind, laying down with my neck on the sink) with bleach in my hair for over three hours alone. On top of all that, the manager of the store, Tandi, said really offensive, racist things about Indian people and how they are "the worst people who always complain" and that since they're "bringing a new strain of coronavirus to America, he doesn't want Indians in his salon." He also said that every time he sees an Indian name show up on the caller ID at the salon, he immediately tells them that the salon is completely booked so he doesn't have to deal with these so-called horrible Indian customers. He laughed as he said all of this and felt comfortable doing so because he thought I was Mexican the entire time I was at the salon (since he was speaking Spanish to me during my visit). I felt extremely uncomfortable as these racist things were being said as I am Indian... Finally, I was way overcharged for this nightmare of a day spent sitting neglected with bleach in my hair as I was experiencing essentially a hate crime by Tandi. I wish I could take this day back and never come here again. Do not come here. *UPDATE* Tandi then called and left a 4 minute voicemail after I called him out on social media and Yelp. He proceeded to gaslight me by passing it off as a misunderstanding. He didn't apologize for his actions, but instead apologized that I "misheard" him. However, in reality, I heard every word he said. He tried to pretend it never happened, and that the circumstances were all my fault. In fact, before even addressing the racist comments at all, he said that I had previously asked for highlight and color during my last two visits, but I know I asked for balayage. He tried to defend the dye job as normal, but as you can clearly see in the photos, my hair is completely unblended (not to mention that's it not even the color I requested). He straight up lied throughout the voicemail to try and clean up his mess and invalidate me, but what would I gain from lying about the comments he made? At this point, I'm simply frustrated because I had to get my hair redone at another place, so I just want a refund. read more

This place has been my go-to salon since 2019. Edwin is very talented and could do literally anything you tell him to do with your hair. Honestly though, you can't go wrong with any of the 3 hair stylists at the salon. Tandi did my hair before (color and cut) and I got a haircut from Danny as well. Whenever I go to get my hair done at this place, my hair always turns out beautiful. It's not a fancy looking salon where you pay overpriced services, but instead you pay for the stylists' high quality work. FYI, call to make an appointment before you go because they're always busy. read more

I was visiting from out of town and decided to come in for a haircut since it was cheaper. And wow I am so impressed! Tandi quickly helped me and washed and cut my hair. My hair was SO dead. But he cut all the split ends. I didn't really come in with an end vision on what I wanted but I am not disappointed at all! He was very gentle with my hair (despite the fact that it was horrible to comb out since it was very dead). Price is so so affordable and you get a lot more than you pay for, especially since I am from a big city and the service that I got is usually around 50-75$! So happy and hope to come back soon! read more

AWESOME SALON!!! If I can give more stars, I totally would. I've spent years and I'm not exaggerating when I said years, looking for a good stylist. Been to so many salons around LA and everyone of them was subpar and charged me for bullshit things, such as having long hair for a trim or if they had to take more time to fix my hair that they messed up on, but not here. Tandi not only took the time to listen to what I wanted, but he made suggestions on what would look more appealing to my facial feature. He also took his time in cutting my hair, style it, and put final touches to really define the hair style that I wanted, which felt so relaxing, I nearly fell asleep. This man knows how to cut hair because he's a professional stylist, not some person who got a beautician license and think they know how to use a scissor. It's an art and Tandi is a fucking artist! UPDATE: I wasn't the last customer. I got there at 3:45pm and you close at 7:00PM. Also, I didn't arrive in a "bad mood" but after making me wait almost an hour after repeatedly telling me "just a few more minutes," it is easy to become irritated. You, the owner/manager, just have no respect for your customer's time and as your response below shows, lack professionalism. There are many many other salons and barbers that can cut hair as well or better than your shop and they will have my business. Let's be honest - it isn't rocket science. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These guys do average haircuts at average prices but beware the $2 credit card surcharge. The biggest issue with this place is the owners time management. Consistent with other people's reviews, I've been here a number of times and each time the owner is behind schedule. This last time he was an hour behind and kept telling me "just a few more minutes" as I saw him only midway through TWO other customers more extensive hair dyes and perms. What's the point of having an appointment if you're going to be an hour late? My time is worth a lot more than the $2-3 savings compared to other barbers in the area. He made no apologies or offers to compensate for his overbooking. Also he frequently checks his phone and texts during appointments,, further prolonging the wait.. My family and I are taking our business elsewhere! Oh, and be prepared to wait in heat since there is no AC! read more

This salon has been my go-to for quite some time. Every color, every haircut, and every hair product recommendation I ask of them is handled with great quality. I'm really picky with my hair and I'm also super frugal - this is the only salon I'll go to in order to find the perfect balance of price and quality. Been going here for a few years so this is long overdue. I love this place. I used to be that one dude who didn't really know what kind of haircut looked good on him. I blamed my Asian hair for that. Eventually I grew out of that phase but I still come back here to get my hair cut. Both Tandi and Edwin have cut my hair and honestly both are great. You can't go wrong with either or. Also, they're really cheap. I could've gotten a haircut here 3 times than I would once at a barber shop (looking at you King's Barber) and in 1/5 of the time. Make sure to call in advance though to see if they have any openings. I've had to do that the past couple months to make sure I was able to. read more

Ok so again Tandi did a great job even though he didn't want me to go shorter and still trying to convince me to dye my hair. I still love coming here and love the cut he gave me, versatile and easy to style. Just a reminder that they are appointment only - even though it says walk ins welcome (he said that's just for consult only, but he's so busy I don't think he has time to do that). Also if Tandi is your stylist just know he'll take longer since he's the one that runs the front desk. I recommend making appointments Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays if you don't need your hair done for a special occasion. read more

I love my cut from Danny. I always leave this salon looking fabulous. They require appointments first, are closed on Mondays, and charge $35. Tandi is the manager and everyone working at the salon is friendly and easy to talk to. This isn't my first time here and definitely won't be my last time. I will be back again and again. They were sweet enough to squeeze me in today and gave me the best service! Edwin was my stylist, and he was so patient with my VERY thick hair! I came in with fading black dye on my hair, and he was able to neutralize the old dye and create this beautiful, natural-toned balayage! I'm so happy with the outcome, and the color is even more natural in person, which is important because I really wanted to avoid the brassiness. He finished off my session with a trim and adding in some layers. (Some strands are sticking out at the bottom in the picture, but that's because of the way I'm holding my hair for the pose!) read more

Tandi did such a good job my hair needed a haircut and showed him a photo reference and did it exactly how I wanted it. Thank you Tandi for giving me tips to taking car of my hair. He took his time with my hair and made sure that my split ends were out of my hair. Make an appointment! Don't come in expecting you get cut right away. So I should premise my review by first saying I'm not too picky when it comes to haircuts. On my weekday visit, I came in for a single length haircut. I had my hair up when I arrived so she offered to wash it first, but I had actually just washed it and it was still wet so we didn't need to wash prior to cut. I told her that I wanted a single length haircut, she asked me to show her about where. I told her I couldn't see without my glasses (which I removed for my haircut) so before her initial cut she actually touched my back where she intended to cut and said ok im going to cut here. I thought that was very nice. She worked quickly and even dried my hair so I could see what the length would be. I was pretty happy with the experience. It took only about 10 - 15 minutes from when I sat down to walking out the door. read more

I havent cut my hair in 2-3 years since every person I have gone to always cut my hair too short and I end up looking like Dora BUT I finally found my forever hair salon!!! Danny was the person who cut my hair, I showed him images of what I wanted and he perfected it! Im so in love with my hair and I recommend anyone who is scared to get their hair done due to bad past experiences to come here! this place is APPOINTMENT only, so please make sure you call and book one! :-) I love this place! The owner was very kind too! He was working on other ladies and he seemed so outgoing, he was talking to them like theyve been friends since forever & i love that! Grace asked me some questions about my desired curl pattern and explained that she would be trimming my hair so that I could have more volume. My hair is flat so I agreed with her suggestion. Once my hair was trimmed and we discussed the curl pattern, she began the perming process. She talked me through the process of the curly perm and helped me feel comfortable during my appointment. It was busy that day but Grace always made time to checked on me. My appointment was about two hours long and I loved the way hair looked when she was finished. Grace gave me amazing tips on how to maintain the volume and curls, and recommended some products for me to use. She said that I could any products that I'm comfortable with, but I decided to purchase the shampoo, hair treatment, and hair moisture curl that was available at her salon. I used her products for my first hair wash, and my curls still look amazing. I'm definitely going to be buying more from her salon. I had a good experience at Glamourous Hair Salon. I was looking for a big change with my hair and decided to get blonde balayage/ombre for the very first time. I searched online for the technique/style I wanted as well as pictures of the work of diffrerent stylists in Orange County. I contacted one of the stylist of Fantasy Salon 4U, Edwin, through Yelp messages to request a next day appointment (they do first come first serve, so currently, no appointment necessary but weekends are busy so either arrive when they open or be ready to wait). They do the style estimate at the salon. Edwin, took the time to check my hair and asked significant questions that affect the colors of going blonde. This is how I knew that he was great at what he was doing and trusted him with my hair. My hair is pass my hips and the whole process with the hair treatment took 4 hours. I greatly appreciated that he took the time to blend as I had previous highlights. It came out beautiful. I did come back for a 2nd toning session because my hair is black and I wanted platinum blonde balayage/ombre. read more

Tandi is the best stylist I've had in many years. I had a full head of salt and pepper hair and he colored a beautiful brown with gold highlights. He successfully cut my hair which was already short to give me exactly what I wanted. I have always spent so much money on my hair, but never been as pleased as I have with the 2 of them, and the cost is almost half of what I was paying. She combed my hair almost non-stop until the timer sounded to wash out color. Grace washed the color out. Then applied shampoo. She used a massage tool that was relaxing and soothing to the scalp. Same Day The scalp treatment was a little minty, delicate and soothing. ‍ Not a harsh cold like Selsun blue. She also did a crackling foamy thing as well on my scalp. Felt odd but good. ‍ My hair cut is GREAT. ‍ She's GENTLE. NO HAIR RIPPING even while BLOW-DRYING. WONDERFUL experience. 8/18/25 I made a…read morebig boo boo when I to cut my own hair. It was pretty bad so I reached out to Lia to see if she had any openings. She was able to get me in same day and damage control. Both sides were uneven and I needed a cut that would still allow me to put my hair up halfway but also allow it to grow out to achieve length again. Lia meticulously did her magic and viola, My hair is fixed. Photos speak a thousand words so I will just attach those on here. As always, I appreciate Lia's expertise and professionalism. I will be due for an organic straight soon but thought I was enjoy this fix it cut for a bit :) thanks again Lia!
