Tandi is the best, they recently reopened and are only accepting clients by appointments but they do their best to accommodate for their customers! I wanted a balayage type style for my hair but was low maintenance and didn't require any root touch ups. Tandi did my hair and the experience was the best! He's very kind and helpful and basically makes you feel comfortable when getting your hair done. My hair was previously colored and I naturally have very dark asian hair so make sure to clear out your whole day if planning to go lighter! Process took almost 8 hours but Tandi was super patient and accommodating to making my hair the way I wanted it. 10/10 recommend and I plan to be a long term customer here! read more

I went there yesterday! My mother-in-law recommended another Salon while I still insisted in mine. I wanted to try a new place. However, I shouldn't have done that. The middle aged lady who did my hair was awful! Bad attitude, awful skill. First, the way she washed my hair was so rude and the shampoo splashed onto my face! When she blow dries my hair, she scratched too hard. I looked my phone, it just took her 2 mins to cut my hair short. The whole process made me feel that she was in a big rush! As you can see how bad her skill is! Reply to your post: First, from the beginning to the end I didn't change my mind about the haircut that I wanted. I only said how I wanted my hair to be cut and had a picture for reference. I agree with you that it was busy but at least don't rush on a customer. I was only there for 30 minutes for shampoo, haircut and curl. Yes, it probably get like an hour for you, and the haircut took 2 minutes. My husband dropped me off at 4:15 and came back for me 4:40. I was out at 4:45 and I can show you the time from the texts he sent me. Second, you said your stylist were all professionals but just because you spoke in a different language, it doesn't mean that I don't see that nice things weren't being said. The way that I was treated wasn't normal. If a customer is not satisfied with a job, then would you treat them all the same way if he or she said the haircut was bad and tries to correct it before leaving? Again, I could tell how impatiently I was treated just from the way my hair was washed. Also, Thank you for calming her down. I don't know what would've happened if she didn't. Third, you have the right to refuse a customer after doing such a bad job? I have a right to share my experience and not come back there. He did a wonderful job and he's super sweet and full of personality he's my new Boo!!! Place is clean, great customer service, and quick too! Oh it's best to have cash! I had to give one star for my last haircut last Sunday, there was 2 stylist there a guy {not the owner} Cindy and Edwin. Well when she straightened it looked like a early 2000 style yuck, I put it up immediately when I left. However, after going back and showing the OWNER the picture he posted of my hair I got done last time he said that he lied in the caption because "that's how you advertise. You say it's highlights so people come in because people don't know anything. Then you tell them it's balayage and charge more." I have always gotten my hair done for $100-120 here and he told me today that it would be $260 minimum. He also didn't give me a quote over the phone, forcing me to drive over an hour and then said he only does appointments. TANDI!!! This man is a hair GOD! I came here Sunday and it was a zoo! I waited an hour... word of advise- don't ever go on Sunday's. Monday's they are closed.. Tandi took his time with my hair. I spent almost the whole day with him and I could tell that he loves his craft. He taught me a lot about hair and the techniques stylists would use along with a few tips. This place is legit! A true hidden gem! My daughters will not go anywhere else to get their haircuts. Take in mind, we now live in Arizona. So when we visit every few months, this place must be on our agenda as a go-to! A good hair wash, a simple cut and a blow out will cost $25! Plus tip? You're looking at a nice haircut under $40! That's unheard of... The location is awesome because you can get your nails done nextdoor (while waiting for my kids), grab a bite to eat from a few of the restaurants nextdoor or grab something to drink from the deli. I get to the salon when I was visiting LA, the treating of the salon manager was very rude ... he told me wait for about 10 mins but it is ok.. but then he told me to leave after he finished the customer before me and then he rudely told me to leave and I was like pretty awkward. This is my new go to hair salon!! I was really skeptical to to give another place a try. I've tried several high end salons who offer wine while you wait (not sure how good I want to drink wine with hair flying all over the place) and the outcome of my hair was not the best. To be honest, there are not very many places that will take in walks in, they're mostly by appointment and wait for a month, if not more. I called in to make an appointment and to my surprise they said I could go in same day! It's great to know there are still places that will take you in on the spot. Cindy was extremely nice and helpful. I had really yellow/orange hair from other salons that attempted to do a "blond" ombré. I forgot to take a before picture. I came in with black/brunette hair (which I had done from box dye myself) which basically had my hair dead and seriously messed up. My friend and I were looking to get our hair done for a reasonable price and did not know what to go. After looking up a few places we decided to check out this salon. It was the reviews that made us want to go here. Upon entering , we were greeting and asked what we would like to do with our hair. I wanted to go for a more ombre- Rihanna hair do ( I had a picture of) look. We was concerned about the price so we asked and they were so reasonable. I was quite amazing that I could get my hair done for such a good price (and my hair is pretty long!). While waiting, I saw a few people who were getting their hair done at the time leave so satisfied! My hair took about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. The lady doing my hair was very nice. She didn't chat much, because she was focused on what she was doing. Once my hair was done, she even blow dried and curled it for me:) I was so impressed by the service provided and their skill level. They're all very talented people working there. Prior to COVID, I'd box dye my hair with black. I love the way my hair looks with black. I've inserted how dark my hair was. It was dark, because of box dye. As we all know box dye is a very horrible decision for your hair. It's just better to go to someone else who knows how to work with hair then taking it into your own hands. Well I had made a very bold decision to go semi blonde but wanted to still keep the black. After going through many Yelp reviews, I found this salon. My experience with them was extraordinary. The manager of the salon had done my hair and explained the process was going to be long but that he could do it. And he did! I love my hair. I had talked to Edwin prior to making my appointment on what type of style and color I should get.
