I recently transfered my families perscriptions from both Walgreens & CVS to Fanwood Pharmacy. Both of the chain Pharmacy's where forever giving me problems with not having the meds and causing to have to go days without medication or having to track it down at other locations. Fanwood Pharmacy has been the complete opposite. When I initially called them I told them my biggest concern was making sure the pharmacy had my medication as I couldnt wait days. Fanwood Pharmacy assured me that once I become a customer they will insure that my medication is always in stock. The said if for any reason they did not have it, it would only take 1 day to get. This is a big difference from the large chain pharmacy's which could take as long as a week. The pharmacy made the transition very easy for me. They signed me up for text notifications and helped me download their app so I can check on medications and refill perscriptions. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. I am very pleased that I switched, I only wish I did it sooner. read more

Fanwood pharmacy always goes above and beyond for my family. They are always courteous, kind and helpful. Recently they really went the extra mile by having to call multiple doctors and pharmacies for me to get my son the correct prescription after it was back ordered. I don't even have words to describe how helpful and kind they were. I know a big chain would have had me calling around doing everything myself but they took care of all the phone calls, scripts and everything and it was a huge relief. I had noticed the Fanwood Pharmacy but never visited until my pharmacy closed and I transferred my prescriptions. Even though I had been pleased with the Scotchwood Pharmacy, I was even more pleased with this one. They handled the transfer flawlessly. And they are professional, efficient, and truly respect and care about their customers. In addition to all of that they are just really nice people! P.S. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are the nicest, most efficient pharmacy I've ever been to. They know my name, so I get greeted with it. They just look for my prescriptions without me asking, same for my husband's. They fill most of my prescriptions while I'm standing there. The pharmacies is knowledgeable, kind, and efficient, as is the rest of the staff. They have several services you don't find in other pharmacies like key making, lotto, and an ATM, among others. And when it comes to actual pharmacy stuff (you know, like medicine), they have a great supply. Unlike Walgreens, or CVS, etc, they concentrate on being a pharmacy, not a pharmacy in a big box store. I love them and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. They also are as cheap as it gets of prescriptions, take most insurances, and remember - shop local so local can be shopped at!! read more

So happy we moved from our old pharmacy to Fanwood Pharmacy. The staff couldn't be nicer and I've never waited for more than a minute or two when picking up a prescription. They even offered to drop a medication offer after hours when we weren't able to get there in person. Amazing customer service. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for the last 3 years. Each and every time I have had a pleasant experience. The first time I dropped off a script I asked if it would take 40 min or so and that I'd be back for it. They reassured me that it would be ready in 5-10 minutes and it was. Recently, during covid the store time changed. They closed at 6pm and I call 10 min after 6 asking if my sons prescription was ready and the pharmacist informed me that it was ready and that they were actually closed but he could wait for me to come get it. I was so grateful. You will never find this type of service at any chain pharmacies. I am beyond pleased and so happy that they are in my neighborhood. read more

Excellent service. Have shopped here since they opened. We have complicated prescriptions and they always get them right.

Worst experience ever with a pharmacist. Did not have the prescription ready more than an hour after it was called in. Did not want to explain the side effects or how to take the medicine. I was told to go read the Instructions and to use the QR code - to watch a video. He was very annoyed that I had questions and when I left I called the urgent care doctor. The pharmacist did not give me the correct information regarding how to take the meds and a new prescription was ordered. He was further annoyed and rude when I came back . He refused to take back the untouched package. I wanted them disposed of. He refused to answer my questions again and then refused to give me the new prescription. He said he would call it to the CVS- he is not the doctor. He refused to give me his card or his name. He eventually gave me the medicine but I had to call the doctor again for clarity on how to take it. He was rude and arrogant and unprofessional. I am not accustomed to taking medicine and certainly not used to being treated with such blatant ignorance. read more

After dealing with the long lines at drug store chains and no real personalized service, I am done. A new small pharmacy in my town just opened and I transferred all prescriptions to Fanwood Pharmacy. The owner is knowledgeable and offers a compounding service which is not something you can get from a chain store. They also carry the basic drug store retail merchandise as well. Parking is convenient and the owner is very personable. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more
