    Caffelatte

My caffelatte had beautiful crema in an elegant glass. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of tables, with a view of the pizza making. In the traditional way, the pizza margarita comes unsliced. Delicious! Pay at the register up front.

    Margarita pizza and a prosecco.

Located up stairs of the airport after check-in. There is a takeaway location and a dining location. I sat in the dining location which was nice and quiet since most didn't want to pay for the sitting fee. Worth it for me to pay the 2.50 euro to eat in peace. Sat in front of the guys making pizzas. Everything was made from scratch. The food was really made well. Ordered the margarita pizza. It was good, not the best as not as airy of a dough but it was still flavorful and cooked well. The pizza sauce had great flavor and cheese was excellent. The waitress was a bit lacking. Her manners were not the best and sadly the worst in Italy during my travels. She was not as friendly to me but worst to the guys make the pizza. And in my limited understanding of Italian she was quite rude and disrespectful to them. So bad so they are the people I tipped my entire trip here. They were making pizza like crazy and all she'd do is get mad at them.

I wanted to get a vegan cornetto and I found 3 cafes offering them in the terminal, but this one looked the best. And I was right the vegan croissant with turmeric was DELICIOUS.

One of the best pizzas I've tried while in Italy. The place was beautifully designed, felt like I was in Amalfi. The service was fast and the waiter was friendly. It's one if the busiest restaurants at the airport , the line was rather long when we got there but we were seated quickly.

    Delicious pizza

After walking all over Terminal E looking for a bite to eat, we settled on pizza which did not disappoint. This place has take out and sit down service. We decided to sit down as our gate number was yet to be determined. We ordered drinks and a pizza to share. Although the pizza looked quite plain, the pizza was flavorful, cooked just right, and arrived quite fast.

    Carbonara

Solid pasta, better pricing than expected for an airport restaurant. Our flight leaving Rome was unexpectedly delayed and we found ourselves with nothing to do but eat. We opted for the cacio e pepe and carbonara (€14.50), with an aracino / rice ball (€4). The food was comparable to some of the better restaurants in Rome - the carbonara I had was one of the best, with the guanciale (pork) being very juicy, fresh, and fried to almost a crispy texture. The pasta was also great in terms of taste and portion size, and the flavours of the pasta and guanciale meshed well together. Cacio e pepe in general is not my favourite dish but it seemed similar to the carbonara in taste of quality, freshness, etc, albeit a bit smaller in portion size, but we both agreed the carbonara was the far better option. The tiramisu was also good - a little too overzealous with the cocoa powder, but taste was solid. Service was friendly and quick - there is ample seating room, flight info visible from the dining area, and we got our food very quickly. As per Rome standard, prices for the same items are higher when dining in, but surprisingly pricing overall was quite reasonable, especially compared to Canadian standards. Pricing was on par with normal restaurants in Rome, and the service charge was not excessive either.

A decent Italian restaurant inside the Rome international airport FCO, but not the best. The red wine was the best out of what I ordered - bruschettas, homemade lasagna, beef slices... Was quite surprised the lasagna was kinda lukewarm when I was eating it, plus didn't taste all that great. It's been awhile since I've eaten lasagna, but I've had a lot better. Overall, service was good but with bad recommendations :) and a couple of flies here and there I had to swat away.

    Margherita pizza - pretty good

Tip: if you wanna have food to go or sit in the middle area (mezzanine), you order from the glass cases/counter. I didn't order from that area but if they follow the typical roman arrangement - you would figure out what you want, pay, and then get your order with a ticket. If you wanna have a sit down meal, tell the waiter/waitress standing in front of the dining area (next to the window side) so that they will take care of you. You order and get food like in a normal restaurant. And you can pay at the stand when leaving instead of waiting for the check at the table. If you understand the logistics or ask politely about it - which is in line with most places in Rome except maybe some solely cater to tourists, you will enjoy this place. End of tip. ------------- Food is very good. I had margherita pizza, baba, and cappuccino. The only other place I had margherita pizza is from Michele's in Napoli, so this cannot really compete with that, but it is a solid good pizza on par with any best pizza you can get in the US - think Serious Pie in Seattle. You can see they have a nice pizza oven in the kitchen and the pizza is made to order. Baba is airy and moist, on par with the best I had in Napoli. Cappuccino is one of the best I had in Italy- that's like 30-40 cups of them from various places! It is so good that I had two. Price is higher given the airport location. But still very reasonable by American non-airport restaurant standards. Please note that besides the service fee/cover fee, for the same bakery item, you may pay higher on the dining in menu than the to-go section. I accidentally noticed it while checking out. But you do get a bit extra - the baba came with some very delicious berry sauce on the plate which I am not sure if they will provide for to-go. Service is courteous. It was almost empty as I was there early in the morning, and I can see how it may get slow when there are more customers. At one point, after I ordered the dessert and cappuccino, I told the waiter I would like to go across the hall (out of the dining area) to use the restroom, he said it is okay and also that he will serve the cappuccino when I am back. When I was back at the table, the baba was there already, and in maybe 30s or 1 min, my cappuccino came! That's good service!

You don't go to Europe to eat in the airport, right? On the other hand, for a departing flight (cry) you have to get to the airport hours ahead of time, and you are forced to sit around, waiting for your flight. In the states, this is usually accompanied by eating crap food at the limited airport restaurants, or drinking insanely overpriced drinks at the bar. In Europe, the food and drink offerings are, in general, much better at the airport (I don't know why this is. Not to say that there are no good food options in US airports, but it's much less common). Also, the prices are a little more reasonable. I was travelling with family, and we ordered a few different pizzas (which range from about 6 to 13 euro) and they were surprisingly large (not a 'personal size' pizza). Check out the pictures of the menu (with prices) I attached to this review. Others around us ordered different food, and it all looked good. You can even see them make the pizza in a glass-walled area that has a large pizza oven in it.

Great pizza, good service, way more than I expected out of an airport restaurant. Definitely a nice place to stop if you have a little extra time.

The pasta was the best fettuccine . So light such good service. Polite staff & would totally love to eat here again. The pizza was better then the ones I have tasted in actual Rome. Not too much salt or olive oil. The waiter listen to the entire order which was very much appreciated. The bathroom is right across. Great location.
