Scam artists to the highest degree. Please everyone who reads these pages believe what we are saying. If I had my phone on hand I would've googled them real quick, saw these posts, and not have bought the meat! They roll through neighborhoods with the same tired story of "Someone cancelled the order... we need to sell this meat or it will go bad... discounts... blah blah blah" I'm a total softie so I fell for it. I did not have the money so... I offered to buy some of the meat but not the whole box. they kept chipping away at the price until finally it seemed like a fair price for the whole box. Believe me when I say the meat is not even worth that! It's super chewy and terrible, and after thawing, some cuts have a weird odor. The look of some of the meat after thawing and cooking makes me want to go vegetarian/vegan even! Gross.... After thawing the patties, they are a pale brown color, and I was there to watch it thaw... I cut them open and the smell like cheap wheat/mushy bread, yuck. They are NOT 100% beef. Forget their warranty, their website and page is just a front, theres no confirmation for the warranty. You enter the info and the page just flashes... Some people have got their CC card scammed/overcharged, so at least I paid cash and I don't have to worry about that! Google "Farm Fresh Foods", and see plenty of RIP OFF reports and even an article from NBC SAN DIEGO about their bad meat sales. Now I'm just going to see if I can give it to my neighbors to grind it up for dog food or something... It's still meat and I don't want to waste it. The NY strip steak is very chewy but edible... I wash the meat very thoroughly and add my own spices. Everything else I will give away, I always feel guilty when I waste food or throw away food when people are homeless and hungry. If I don't want to eat it it, I'm not going to force anyone else to. I was going to remain silent but as the holidays are approaching I started to get angry again because that money was a waste that I could have used on gifts and a ticket/fare to visit family. I wish there was a zero star for this business. Below is my complaint to the BBB for Farm Fresh Foods. Yesterday a door sales man selling all natural farm fresh steaks came to our door. He had a story about having extra orders and was selling them at lower prices then usual. He had a flyer as well as the BBB logo on his van. I felt he could be trusted since he had the BBB logo on his vehicle. This was FALSE! Farm Fresh Foods is a total scam. The meat is poor quality and may even be rotten. It had a terrible smell not even worth eating or giving to a dog. I purchased $120 worth of meat, which he said should have been $265 but since I was getting a deal it was totally worth it. Once again I am writing to you today to inform you that your logo and good name is being tainted by Farm Fresh Foods. When I called the company there was no answer, when someone finally did answer I got the run around. Please do something about this! They need to be stopped. So, dude shows up at my husbands work peddling this crap. My husband calls me all excited. "We can get all this meat for 140 bucks." And I'm like, a) that's a lot of money and we are only two people and b) who are these guys in a van selling meat door to door? They gave the same speech shown time and time again in the reviews. So my step dad was outside working on the house,when a truck pulls up and a tall skinny guy gets out and walked up to him. He seemed in a hurry and offered to sell him meats. Starting at 379 and knocking off chucks of money until my dad finally thinks he's getting a good deal. The man said 130 for a 379 deal is the lowest he can do, THEN MY STEP DAD FELL FOR IT. We got the meat and I took it in to inspect it, and boy was it sad. The meats were thin ,and small. Then I checked the yelp reviews on that company and seen that it was bad from the getgo. I placed my order on a Friday to ship out on Monday. I got an e-mail that a shipping label was created on Sunday. No shipment information on my order and it is now Wednesday. I tried to cont them, and guess what NO TELEPHONE NUMBER. Sent several e-mails with no response. Since they generated a shipping label you can not charge back on credit card. I, too , wish I could give this scam less than a one. I was impressed by the beautiful van with the pictures of steaks and seafood. I was given a brochure that showed a package of "Premium Seafood Assortment" for $310. He agreed to substitute the breaded shrimp for T bone steaks. I paid $179. The food is horrible! I mean, horrible horrible. We had the crab legs last night. They have to be seconds from somewhere. Some of the legs had no meat, and the other legs were very rubbery and had no taste. We were hungry after eating a full bag so I cooked something else. The steak they show on the van is thick, but the actual steak is so thin it is only good for a pan fry. The tilapia and cod were water soaked and disgusting. Please, if you are reading this, don't be fooled by the pretty van and the nice boxes this food comes in. It is crap. read more

Sketchy, gave me the same spiel everyone else got, they looked so suspicious and sketched out that my first reaction was that they were casing out the house. They tried to tell me they just came from delivering some food to my neighbor "Ron", what they didn't know is that I'm the HOA president and know everyone by name and that there's no Ron. That was my first inkling something was wrong. Then they kept looking at each other and wouldn't leave the "menu" behind when I said I didn't want to order but wanted to keep the menu as they said they don't really advertise these specials and they only get one menu per box so can't give them out. I answered a craigslist add to work for this company, it was close by, so I gave it a shot.. they are a completely dishonest and misleading from the start. Promised $130 a day to drive their company supplied vehicles to businesses and set routes, cash paid daily... Little did I find out till 4 hours into working, do they tell you it is cold sales of old meat that has been in their freezers from the weeks prior that they never off loaded.. So, as I was told that I would only be out on the first day of work for a few stops. 10.5 hours later I finally finish. Turns out the guy that i was with just got out of prison and had too many DUIs to drive. So that's why they put the add out in need of "route/driver". I told they guy that I was with after 4 hours that it wasn't for me and I was done... I told him that I was heading back, but the guy threatened me that if I left with the truck that I would be called on by the cops for grand theft auto... But was only give the option to be dropped off on my own 45 miles away from the shop. Needless to say I didn't go back the next day. Didn't get paid for the 10.5 hours I worked with a chain smoking employee that didn't care for the company or the Heath of others, and the management was completely fine with the practice. SAW AD ON CRAIGSLIST saw ad on craigslist that they are hiring "delivery drivers." I was not able to search them before interview due to them leaving company name off the ad. I spoke with a guy on the phone who knew very little about the position besides that it was a delivery driver and your paid cash daily. I show up for the interview. company sounds great. they say they are expanding and that my position would include deliveries and some up selling (which is normal for a delivery job). I was offered a ride along so I can see what the job is all about. I show up on a monday morning for a ride along. some guy comes in and tells us that we will not be paid for the day and that this a sales job. we are supposed to go door-to-door and sell frozen meats for 8-12 hours. there was no delivering involved. I do not recommend this company at all. also for people who are curious... THEY ARE NOT OVER STOCKED AND NEED TO SELL THEIR EXTRA PRODUCT. they load their trucks every morning with the intension of selling those meats. I am in dire need for a job and did not have the tire or money to waste on a scam. read more

Guy came to the door saying the neighbor down the street didn't want the complete order that he ordered and needed to get rid of the remainder of that order before heading back To San Diego and he showed me official pamphlet of Farm Fresh Foods looking 100% legitimate. He would sell at his cost for $3.00 a piece for the meat. Sounded like a good deal so I feel for it like a fool! After he left I counted the pieces and It actually came out to $6.00 a package. Each box is 2.5 lbs making it $12.00 a pound for rubber meat that's scarey to eat. Wanted cash of course. Should of been a big clue even more.On the pamphlet it says must register but find there is no way to register to guarantee the product. I avoided the IRS scam but feel for this one. The young man came to our door. I politely told him we do not want to buy anything and we do not like solicitors coming to our door. He told me that I was "free range" unless I had a sign up stating such. I again stated we didn't want to buy anything and asked him to leave. Right to my face he said to me "you're an asshole!" I was shocked by this unprofessional behavior even for a solicitor so I asked him for his boss's number. He stated "I am the boss." Which turned out to not be true. He then preceded to continue to yell at me as he drove up the street. I called the company to report the behavior but they were very dismissive and gave an in genuine apology. I was asked by this guy, wearing baggy clothes, a hat, and shades, said he was from CA, they just opened up a new shop in San Diego, he was wondering if I liked steaks, me being a steak lover, I said yes, he said they were offering $3 a steak, then he brought out this entire box full of 5 little boxes full of different steaks, charging me $300 for a pack, then kept dropping the price with all of these discounts, including Military (my great uncle was in the Military) discount, first time customer discount, eventually dropping the price to $200, he then started conversations, trying to be friendly, he eventually showed me a menu, but every time I attempted to view the menu, he would snatch it out of my hands, he then dropped the price to $120, then he told me not to tell my neighbors what I would be paying for it, because it was a special deal, I declined, too good to be true, after the two men in the van left, I instantly looked them up, BIG SCAM! A van with an entire advertising wrap that covered it completely, advertising "Farm Fresh Meats", pulled up the street and the driver walked back to our house to knock on our door. The man was careful to stand to the side of the full glass storm door to remain hidden until my husband answered the door. He was rude, would not take no for an answer and actually argued with my husband. He was dirty, poorly dressed and would not leave. My husband refused the offers of buying his steaks "as big as my head" and told him in no uncertain terms that he was not interested. Then the large man kept interrogating my husband with questions of, "What's wrong don't you like steaks?". My husband asked him to leave our property. The 'salesman' actually backed his van down to the house and was yelling over his van roof.
