AMAZING! I absolutely loved this place! I took a small detour from 70 to give this place a try and it was so so worth it!! The girls at the counter were very welcoming and super patient with me looking over the menu. I ordered the Banana chai and it was so good I chugged it before I made it back on 70. This place is a must stop!!I Also the aquarium on the inside was so cool!

Special Drinks and April Coffee flight (delicious)

Stopped in today due to previous Yelp reviews and found this an enjoyable place. Plenty of variety in drinks and tasty food. A friend and I both enjoyed their April coffee flight (see pictures). I had the turkey sandwich and friend had the triple grilled cheese. Tasty and fresh. They also have gluten free bread for those who can not eat wheat (celiac). They also carry a few assorted drinks, besides coffees and teas, kambucha, even a few beers so quite the assortment. Friendly and fast service.

They are located on Hwy 39, a.k.a. Chestnut Street. Inside the dining area is new and upscale with five tables and two couches one with a coffee table and three comfortable chairs for the coffee drinkers. Service was fast all around today as there were only a handful of customers at noon on a Wednesday. I ordered the Ham & Cheese with Chips. The sandwich comes hot which I prefer because the cheese is melted. It was a good sandwich! I also ordered a Vanilla Milkshake which was excellent. All in all I had a nice lunch in a quiet quaint little coffee shop that has a nice size breakfast and lunch menu. They are similar to Local Grind. Parking is available in their exclusive gravel parking lot. Beware there is no drive thru.

Absolutely loved this place! It's tucked away in a small town just west of Indianapolis, but don't let it's size fool you! They have an excellent selection of coffee, beers, wine and cocktails! The owner was there serving her guests and you can tell she takes great pride in her business! Oh and don't forget to try the flights!

The grand re-opening is a success! The space is beautiful! A friend and I enjoyed plenty of space for an hour or so of remote working. It was lovely, and we had delicious cold brew flights, cinnamon rolls, breakfast muffin sandwiches, and the "last frost" specialty latte.

Always something fun on the sign board!

This beautiful shop has helped keep my sanity over the past year. Living in a remote, wooded area, even after things began going back to normal (-ish), the only places I really ventured out to was to Farm House Brew to grab a beautiful coffee & whatever the lunch special was, & next door to the Morgan County Public Library while Farm House prepared my food. I've always felt welcome & appreciate everyone's smiling, friendly faces. If I didn't need multiple computer screens for work, I'd be working from the shop anytime I'm "working from home"! I highly recommend you stop by... you HAVE to get an order of biscuits & gravy on Saturday mornings, & I love a mocha, with fresh cookie, & sausage, egg, & cheese english muffin. (I kind of get all three on the reg.) Also, funny aside: any Phish fans out there? Literally every time I visit, think about, or drive by Farm House (which is nearly every day since I drive past it on the way in to work in Indy), I sing "Welcome, this is a Farm House" in my head.... every. single. time.

Brew: both coffee AND beer! This small restaurant serves breakfast and lunch items (or early dinner until 6) just a block off the main street of Monrovia. Though it started with lots of coffee options and a few breakfast pastries and dishes, it recently got its license to carry beer (all were local craft brands) as an option to go with its lunch menu. The interior is warm and inviting with a blackboard menu on your left as you enter. The order counter is to the right of the menu board and the pickup is around then next corner from where you order. There are two dining areas, both somewhat small, but plenty of room for my mid-morning visit. I decided to go with a black coffee, a cinnamon roll, and an order of Farm Fresh Egg Bites. The coffee comes in 3 sizes and they have four varieties available. I went with a medium blend that was ready to drink. No scalding here! The cinnamon roll was served warm and had a tasty layer of icing that was sweet but not cloyingly so. No sugar overload, just good flavor. The Egg Bites are something between an omelette and quiche served in the shape of mini muffins. Two per order was plenty when combined with the cinnamon roll. They do have a hot sauce for those who prefer that on their eggs. Otherwise, they have salt and pepper shakers at the pick-up window if you need it. They had decent flavor on their own. I noticed they sold bags of whole coffee beans (but they will grind it for you if you want them to.) Oh, and unlike most places that make you bus your own table, they have a sign that encourages you to leave you dishes on the table and they will take care of cleaning up after you. The place is filled with sign of encouragement, family, and generally positive themes. It feels very inviting and a place I was glad to dine in. Service was prompt and I had my food ready to go. Note that they have some spots in their parking lot for "grab and go" customers as well. Although it may be a bit off the beaten path for some people, it is worth checking out if you are in the area! Best kept secret in Monrovia and I-74! My husband and I were about to pull off the interstate into a rest stop as we were driving from IN to MO this morning when we decided to check out coffee shop options nearby. We found Farm House Brew with a five star rating just 10 min away. Quick off and onto the freeway. Other reviewers have left detailed praises of the food, the service, and the venue. We found all they wrote to be true. Best coffee drinks and muffins we've ever had anywhere! This business was just started by a local family in December. They get their coffee beans from a roastery in Indianapolis. Beans are roasted in Tuesday and delivered on Thursday. Talk about fresh coffee!! And it was the brainchild of their youngest daughter, who now works there, and told her mom that friends were driving 20 min to get to Starbuck's before school! The rest is history. Stop by and treat yourself! You'll be so glad you did!

They had everything from cookies and pies to cakes, and I especially loved that they offered so many single-serving dessert options. I ordered the two-egg breakfast and asked for my eggs to be scrambled with cheese. My plate arrived with delicious honey oat toast and what were, without a doubt, the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The texture was perfect! I had forgotten to ask for them crispy, but there was no need--they were lightly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. The eggs were also cooked perfectly. I really appreciate when the cheese is folded throughout the eggs instead of just being sprinkled on top as an afterthought. It's a small detail that makes a big difference. I'm going to be honest--the table next to me ordered the biscuits and gravy, and I could see the huge chunks of sausage from my seat! It looked so good that I had to order an additional side of biscuits and gravy to go, along with a sausage patty. I can't wait to dig into it later. I'll definitely be back. My only regret is that I didn't bring anyone with me! The portions are generous, and this is the kind of place where it's fun to share a few dishes so everyone can sample something different. If you're looking for a locally owned breakfast spot with great food, generous portions, and an incredible bakery, Bread and Breakfast Cafe & Bakery is absolutely worth a visit.

We split a bowl of soup and they kindly served it in separate bowls for us, which I appreciated. The soup of the day was corn chowder and wow, I was surprised how good it was, I do love soups. I'd never tried corn chowder before, but it was creamy, flavorful, and comforting. I ordered the half salad/half sandwich combo. The smoked salmon niçoise salad had a blend of interesting flavors and the dressing paired perfectly with it. For the sandwich, I chose the BLTEA, and unfortunately this was the disappointing part of the meal. The avocado on it was clearly overripe/bad, so dark, mushy, and it gave the sandwich an unpleasant taste. I removed as much as I could, but it still affected the flavor. It was a bummer because this spot usually tastes very fresh. I've had it before and the avocado was fresh, along with the orchard salad which I loved. I would say the orchard salad is my fave. They make their dressings homemade and the dressing for the orchard salad was delicious. The service was still very friendly, and since they were slammed busy, I didn't feel like making a fuss about it. Everything else we had was enjoyable. The inside is small and quaint since it's a house turned restaurant, so it has a cozy but lively ambiance when crowded. One of the best perks here is definitely the made from scratch desserts. I love checking out the dessert case because the staff will happily explain each option and answer questions. There's something oddly satisfying about watching them slice the desserts too. I took a lemon cheesecake to go and absolutely loved it. I've also tried the blackberry wine cake which is a staple and delicious. A seasonal dessert that was really good was the pumpkin pie. You really can't go wrong with home made desserts here.

The service was absolutely impeccable: attentive without hovering, warm without pretense, and delivered with the sort of genuine hospitality that makes you feel less like a customer and more like an honored guest at an impossibly chic gathering. And then came the drinks. The pistachio latte was a masterpiece of balance and indulgence -- velvety, nutty, and luxuriously smooth, as though a pistachio grove had somehow been distilled into liquid silk. Each sip unfolded like a sonnet. The wildflower latte, meanwhile, was pure poetry in a cup. Delicately floral without being overpowering, it carried an almost ethereal sweetness, like spring itself had been persuaded to dissolve into espresso. It was whimsical, elegant, and astonishingly memorable. The Green Room Cafe has achieved what so many coffee shops aspire to but few truly accomplish: creating not just beverages, but an experience -- one steeped in artistry, comfort, and just the right amount of enchantment. A triumph. Five stars scarcely feels sufficient. Oh, and parking was mindlessly easy, the owner was present, the bathrooms impeccable, nursing mother's room near restrooms and high ceilings to dissipate the hum.

Two could eat comfortably with the sizes of the dishes they brought out. Grits were a nice texture, not runny or pasty and yes, they serve grits this far north. I would estimate that they serve about 2-3 measuring cups worth in a cereal bowl. My three egg omelet was fine. The vegetables and ham were mixed in with the egg, which was cooked just fine. Pancakes are their signature dish and I really enjoyed these, except they were too big. Two fluffy pancakes stacked together just about covered a dinner plate. Too often pancakes are floppy or overcooked. These were perfect. I would have liked the option for real maple syrup, though.
