I would love to like this spot but felt the quality of the offerings were a bit misleading. The storefront is clean and the service was amazing and friendly, but their drinks are either soy based or powder based so when expecting a natural juice option this was a real disappointment. The concept is that their smoothies have protein and can a meal replacement. I am sure that if you don't have any issues with soy these are probably very tasty. However, they didn't have any alternatives for those who can't have soy which I found unfortunate. I decided to try an energy drink which has the base of black tea with additives. Mine was a lavender pomegranate which sounded nice and had a fun purpose color but with one sip I realized the lavender and pomegranate were a dried mix they had added to the tea. If you don't do fresh juices then it might not be very noticeable, but unfortunately as someone with lots of allergies I couldn't drink any more for fear of a reaction. Several customers said they come daily and love the drinks, and for sure it is better for you than some other options for energy. However I was disappointed by their drinks and the fact that none of it was actually fruit based. So let me tell you about the SPOT!!! This cool little place has everything like they say Shake. Tea. Vibes. We ordered a Lavender Pom Energy Bomb which I had to catch a picture of real quick before it was gone and I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie that is better than your typical chain shake all the shad is given here. Where have you been all my life? I was blown away by this place. It is super cute on the inside, they have an extensive menu, and the staff were so friendly, probably the friendliest I've dealt with for a long time! You get one drink from the left side (see picture one) and two drinks from the right side (again, picture one). One drink is a "smoothie" (yet its super healthy for you, low carb and many nutrients), one is literally a little shot they give you (the aloe shot), and one is just an iced drink (the energy bomb). They are very thorough and explain to you what each drink does for your body and why it is important. I got the pumpkin banana bread smoothie, the mango aloe shot, and the ocean breeze energy bomb. Omg my tastebuds were so happy, everything was absolutely delicious. I went in after my workout and had not eaten yet today. Let me tell you, that smoothie made me feel so full, and that aloe shot gave me so much energy, I honestly feel FANTASTIC this afternoon. I'm currently now sipping on my ocean breeze energy bomb (tastes like pineapple/pina colada) and it is amazing after keeping it in the fridge for a few hours. The nice employee even said I could keep it overnight in the fridge, which I plan on doing with the rest of it! It was $14 for everything. Was it worth it? AB.SO.LUTELY. 3 drinks for $14 and to make you feel fantastic is completely worth it in my books. When you walk in you will be greeted with a friendly smile and entertained with great engaging conversation. The menu has a wide range of variety and if you're unsure of what to get then just ask for suggestions. Whether or not you get a shake, an energy bomb, or both, you also get an aloe shot (cranberry, mandarin, or mango) to aid in absorption of your healthy beverages of choice. The Energy Spot has several locations, Plainfield being the newest. I found out about them through an add I saw on Facebook. Make sure to give them a like to see all the daily and weekly specials as well as one day only flavor variety. Lots of options but too expensive and the owners work the shop and have a TIP JAR out. You want me to tip you after paying 11 to 15 dollars for a drink? How hard is it to scoop and use an immersion blender that justifies a tip? Some drinks only came in 32oz but i asked for no ice and watched him make the drink. The actual liquid was 1/4 of the cup without ice bc last time I got a drink there it was gone in 1 minute which tells me it was nothing but ice covered by a thin layer of water (facetious) . He then proceeded to fill the cup up with all water. I said it was good but secretly upset bc it was so watery and did not have time to be argumentative. Ridiculous. I could have went to get go and got an electrolyte gatorade for 4 bucks. read more

Great staff and delicious drinks. The shakes are filling and great as a meal replacement. The energy bombs are refreshing. They have tons of flavors and are always doing fun seasonal menus and promotions. The owners, and all of the staff are great and very involved in the community. read more
