Organically Yours Farms And Gardens - They just opened! Strawberries $10/basket (organic, u-pick)

This Organic U-pick is a great find!…read more A simple sign was on the road that read u-pick strawberries. I stopped in right as Covid hit and the stores were empty. I picked strawberries and that weekend I made crepes with fresh strawberries ands fresh whipped cream. Another time, I stopped to pick their humongous sunflowers. Last year they had so much more to offer. I picked red and green leaf lettuce, baby carrots, tomatoes, green onions, strawberries. I saw a sign for fresh coconut ands sugar cane for sale but I think you need to call the number to request those items. There is a flat fee of $25 for a large box. You fill the box with whatever you choose to pick. It's on the honor system. You can Zelle the farm the money or put cash in a box. It is pure wholesome fun and the quality of the fruit and vegetables is excellent. I enjoy supporting local farmers and would love to see this farm prosper. This farm is peaceful and relaxing. Once I meet the farmer and his wife driving past while I was picking. They are the nicest people. It's located on Dykes Road just west of 75. It's across from the Firestone on the left hands side.

This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

They carry eggs, fresh meat. Anything that you would expect to see that has all been raised on a farm. Other than that, there is a Haute coffee truck, a Venezuelan empanada shop, a sandwich place, a middle eastern truck and more. As I am a fan of the coffee place, I ordered a coffee. It was a bit on the sweeter side, but they had really cool flavors. I got the praline latte. The Venezuelan empanadas were great and I would definitely get them again.

My total for two adults plus animal food was about $36 because I got one of each food! The pizza was so good. It is not included in your admission, so be prepared to spend money. But if you're going just to pet the animals, it is definitely such a cheap experience and I would not trade this experience for the world. This same experience in my hometown probably would've been upwards $150. The only additional thing you have to pay for animal-wise is the cows. Which will run you $5 for five minutes or $10 for 10 minutes. Just do it, they're perfect. There are two cows they are so sweet. They are named John and Boots. You also get to hold the bunnies for free. You get to feed the goats for free and you get to go into their enclosures and literally just hang out with goats for like 10 minutes. It's all self paced too! Make sure you try the pizza place as well it was elite! Only downside about this place was that there weren't any reptiles :( Overall, 1000/10 can't wait to come back to Florida and visit again next year!

The interior storefront is part ice cream store, part candy shop, and part open seating. It connects directly to Bambini's pizzeria, which is takeout only. However, the open seating is the perfect spot to eat that pizza. Old fashioned looking booths and tables are made even more fun with a ceiling full of vintage toys and interesting items. My kids spent the whole time pointing at things they saw. In the front, there is a table with paper products and pizza fixings. You don't have to eat inside though - there is also eating outside. A small backdoor is the secret entrance to their amazing backyard space- full of tropical plants, statues, some covered tables (although not covered during heavy rain). To go beyond this, you must pay a fee- to see their animals. A very old school florida spot! It was raining so we weren't able to go this time, but my kids loved looking at all the vintage things and drooling over a million candies, that it was fun just being there.

It was so good, I ended up ordering another cup. Waffles were healthy - made of Quinoa and topped with fruits and nuts. Seemingly unhealthy food made with healthy ingredients- so I didn't feel guilty after eating it Service- the staff was really friendly and cheerful. His salad was well-prepared and tasted great I ordered the lentil salad with added salmon and took it to go. When I opened it, I immediately noticed the lentils looked undercooked. After trying them, they were very firm, difficult to chew and tasted closer to raw than properly cooked. This was disappointing because the rest of the ingredients seemed fresh and well put together I called the restaurant I was told the lentils are meant to be "crunchy" but the texture didn't match that at all, they were hard and not enjoyable to eat. To their credit, they did offer to remake or cook them more, but I was already home and it wasn't practical to go back. Overall, the concept and service are good, but the execution on this dish needs improvement!
