This small farmers market was across the street from an Aldi's I had planned on shopping at so I decided to stop by and check them out. Although small and narrow they had a decent selection of produce along with some other interesting item like spices, pasta, and sauces along with live herb plants. The lady working was very friendly and offered to help me find whatever I needed. After I saw the prices on potatoes and cabbage I wished I had bought my St. Patrick's Day vegetables here. I definitely overpaid for a $5.50 bag of red skin potatoes at Publix. I ended up leaving with some strawberries and blueberries for a dollar a box. The strawberries had some spots on them I had to cut off when I got home but I just freeze them and pop them into my morning smoothie so it was no biggie. On my way out there was a guy out front selling stone crab claws. I was in a hurry so I didn't ask him the price but now I am kind of curious. I would definitely pop back in again if I was in the area. Just remember to bring cash it you don't want to pay their 3 percent credit card fee.

Really cheap prices on produce. Boxes of salad for $1, corn at 3x$1, etc. Please be aware that many of the items they sell are to be consumed fairly quickly since many of them are very ripe or near expiration dates...so, it's one of those places to stop by if you are planning a meal that same day. The selection of produce changes with the day, as I've passed by many times and sometimes they have melons, pineapples, eggplants, etc...some days they don't. It's a nice place to go to if you are flexible on what to buy for a vegetable medley or meal.

This is a small farmers market/produce store. It's located on the south side of Oakland Park Boulevard and west of Dixie Highway. You will notice it by the tents in front of the store where there are signs and stacks of organic veggies outside. Inside, it's a fairly basic set up -- nothing fancy -- with fruits and veggies marked with price signs in front of where they are displayed. Most of the items are very reasonably priced -- but it's good to know comparisons before you shop. We wound up getting an eggplant, a couple zucchini, and a package of vine ripened tomatoes -- all totaling under $4! It's nice to have another local alternative to the regular supermarket.

What is there not to like about saving money?!?! This was my first visit nE it will NOT be my last. Prior to going to the grocery store I will be stopping here to see what they have. The prices are insane!!! Containers of cherry tomatoes and blueberries for less than $2 Friendly and engaging staff

    Beefsteak tomatoes 50cents/lb!

Great small local farmers market. Specials change daily. Many items are ripe and need to be used up quickly but blackberries, organic raspberries $1 per pack. Organic cucumbers 2/$1, etc. Fabulous beefsteak tomatoes were just 50 CENTS a pound! But prices change with each day's available produce.

We were…read morewalking out of "Out of the Closet" thrift store when we noticed the tents up in the lot across the way. We stopped in to see what there was we could snap up. There wasn't actually many options. In the large tent there is the numerous tables of fruits and vegetables, many organic. There was a couple other tents with random things. One had dietary pills and another was for selling handmade crafts. It would have been a bust if not for the soup guy. He sets up in the front of the market so you cant miss him. He has prepared soups frozen in coolers that you can get for 5 dollars. We got 3 different homemade soups from him, to include a Matzo and a Chicken. We had them later, and yes they were pretty good. So with that redeeming moment I would say stop in on a weekend if you are walking by. You cant miss it, there is a posted sign right off the street for the Green market. We will pop back soon. If there is more options and tables next time, we will add more stars

Don't think the likes of LA's Framer's Market or anything like those of major or even minor cities, but more in terms of a small community green market. It's small, really small, only a couple of vendors but a decent enough choice of locally grown fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade soups, pickled and jar canned goods. Among them you'll find Ms. V who has a variety of really good pierogis, preserves, spreads, salsas and other items. You'll find her lasagna and stuffed peppers to be particularly good. Also the "Soup Queen" (remember this is Wilton Manors, if you catch my drift) with various soup offerings; among them a rather good chicken soup. As far as a star rating on this green market, I have to agree with Yelper Tim S. at two stars, but only because it is so small and so very limited in its offerings.

You can call them with any questions, they are very helpful. Whenever I make a pastrami, I get it from Meat N' Bone. It is not a cut of meat that's easy to find, at least in my experience, and theirs is great quality and it always comes out amazing. I hosted for my family a "pre-Thanksgiving" dinner the week before TG and ordered 4 cuts of beef (plenty for 4 people). It was delivered right on time on the day I requested, so easy and dependable. I let them thaw over night and them added a bit of oil, salt and pepper to marinade for about 4 hours, I wanted us to try different cuts and ratings so I got a few wagyu 6s and wagyu - angus cuts including a rib eye, sirloin, and two filet mignons. They were all a huge hit - everyone loved them!

My original review indicated that Javier was the owner per his own words during my last adventure here. Well, I was obviously duped and Javier was a mere outgoing employee, but the man I was speaking with today is named Mel who vehemently advised that he is the actual Owner. Just an update for clarification purposes.
