Pretty good donuts at a decent price! Donuts are not my favorite but I would say these are more of a pastry or croissant-donut combo - light not oily. Went right before closing on a Saturday in December and they were still fully stocked. Got the maple donut ($4) as well as a spicy crab pastry ($8). I believe many of their donuts have a lemon flavor to it with fresh lemon zest as the maple I had did. Both pretty good although I wish the crab pastry had been warmed. Coffee and ice cream available as well. They also sell sandwiches, prebottled drinks, and some souvenirs. Free water. Restroom and parking available. There's tons of seating here upstairs and downstairs as well as outlets and solid wifi - would come to study or work here out of all the places in Woodstock. Good vibes overall

Stupendously-delicious donuts. Eggy, fluffy, deceptively-light, so fresh. Best bites we had on our trip to Vermont. I'm not even a big donut fan, and I sat here and vacuumed, mouth-wide, three donuts with my husband and we couldn't decide which were our favorites! Loved everything we got - the apple crumb, lemon-coconut, maple. Delicious French onion focaccia, but the draw is these donuts. A major reason to come to Woodstock! This place will, no doubt, continue to thrive. 5 stars!!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I'll start by saying I'm not usually a big bakery person--I typically prefer a full breakfast. But it was New Year's Day, options were limited, but I'm so grateful Farmer & The Bell was open, because this experience has changed my life, and here's why. If you lined up a dozen donuts in front of me, I would have never chosen a French cruller. But one bite into the double chocolate donut, I instantly knew it the #1best donut I've ever had. And I don't say that lightly--I'm a self-proclaimed foodie with very high standards. My wife and I loved it so much that we went back into the line and ordered a dozen more to bring all the way back to Connecticut for friends and family. April immediately stood out behind the counter. She greeted every customer with a huge smile and true New Year's cheer, radiating gratitude and positivity. What impressed me most was watching her greet regulars by name--especially impressive considering they've only been in their permanent location for a couple months. Even with the long line, everyone was friendly and upbeat. When it was our turn, we never felt rushed. In fact, they took the time for genuine small talk, which made the experience even better. What really sealed the deal for me was their story. You can read more about it on their website. I got goosebumps reading it. There's no question we'll be back to Woodstock--and it might just be a three-hour drive for a donut craving!

The food is amazing and the ambience doesn't hurt either. This place is a must visit! House made donuts were truly amazing and the Caprese focaccia has had me in a death grip since I had one 3 months ago.

Wow these donuts are incredible - and the egg focaccia and hand pies are savory and hearty. All inside an open style bakery with plenty of comfortable seating.

These are some of the best and most unique doughnuts I've ever had. The texture is so good; I've never had anything like it. The wait was long, but it was worth it.

The crullers are my reason for going. Lemon Blueberry is my favorite flavor but I'll try new flavors too!

Amazing donuts - worth the wait! The maple was our favorite but the sugar and spice and apple crumb were delish too.

They've ruined all other donuts for me! Amazing only touches the surface. Order ahead, they may be sold out by the time you get there.

The store did not disappoint -- it's a baker's paradise in every sense. Every possible ingredient, tool, pan, piece of equipment, and baking mix you could imagine is here, beautifully displayed and easy to browse. The space is bright, immaculate, and extremely well organized, with helpful staff ready to answer questions or point you toward something new. There's also a demonstration kitchen and a café, which adds even more to the experience. While their website is fantastic (and what we've relied on for years), the in‑person store is absolutely worth the trip. Whether you're an avid baker or looking for the perfect gift for someone who is, this is a destination worth driving for. We're so glad we finally made it -- and we'll be talking about this stop for a long time.

Beautiful shop and windows to peek at the baking area. The baking school looked nice, too!…read more The breakfast sandwich on "milk bread" was on what seemed like a regular hamburger bun, though, and the sandwich seemed pre-made, with the fried egg completely well done. The cappuccino was delicious, though, with pretty latte art. Sat in the outdoor area with umbrellas and flowers; much of the "campus" had logo decor for photos and such. Unfortunately, a language exchange group took up much of the shaded seating, though only a couple cups of coffee in front of ~15 folks (please, buy something and support the business if you're going to take up that much space)?! Worth a visit and especially on a sunny day. Bough a few items at the shop and felt better!
