Each component was great. The bagel was tender and fresh. The egg was lightly fried leaving some golden liquid yolk instead of a hammered dry patty. And the server was right, they have really good bacon. Add in a lovely melty slice of white cheddar and a do it yourself squirt of sriracha and you have a powerhouse breakfast. We selected the Strawberry-Rhubarb pie and apple, blueberry, raspberry and lemon turnovers. Pie crust was light and flaky and packed full of fruit. Pie stayed together nicely when sliced and served. Fruit was natural and not overly sweetened. Pie would have been perfect with just a touch of lime zest/juice and maybe a spoonful more of sugar. The turnovers were tasty. The apple ones were pouches with a half apple in each. We've never seen one prepared like that. Prices were very reasonable in this small farmstand store. The woman behind the counter was kind and happy to help us. I was so excited when she handed the pie over and it was still warm!
