Vacationing in the area during my daughter's 9th birthday. This place had the best Yelp review and 10 miles from our house rental. My decision was made. Luckily, with her bday on a Wednesday hey take orders ahead and are only open M-W for pick ups. Plugged the address into the GPS and it took us down a dead end street, looking at a farm house. THIS IS THE PLACE!! Small sign on the garage door. Smells delicious upon entering, very nice employees. We were in and out very quickly with our small heavy cake! We saw a cookie cake in a Yelp photo, when texted back and forth with the folks at Wicked they informed me it was a cookie dough cake! WHAT?! Yes- ordered! It came with a frosting flavored like cookie dough, cookie dough chunk on the top and sides of the cake and even in between the layers! Heavy yet delicious! Great idea! You know... at this point in my Yelping career I am finding that if I can't recommend a business as outstanding to me (or five star) I just don't recommend them at all. Something like... if you can't say something great, then don't say anything. I'm not a big fan of complainers. That said... I give "Wicked Good Bakery" five stars. This morning I opened up Yelp on my phone and selected "Nearby" and then next I selected "Hot New Businesses." One new business in Plymouth popped up and It was... "Wicked Good Bakery." I thought the find was very coincidental as I had seen a small sign about a week ago for a bakery off of Fairgrounds Rd. A week ago, I couldn't find it as I just didn't go far enough down Cooksville Rd. Today, I was determined to find it and find it, I did. If you're familiar with Plymouth... as I am, you think to yourself, what is a bakery doing on Cooksville Rd.? Right? Well today I found out. I called the business phone number and spoke to Sarah to confirm the location. She was very polite and helpful. I then headed on over and found a Wicked Good Bakery. The bakery is located in the home of Sarah and Jean Sleeper. It's surrounded by a beautiful country landscape and after speaking with the owner for a bit, I could clearly see how their dream will develop in time to be a confection destination. The signage is lacking some, but it's a new business and they are working on the issue. Some towns have very strict policies on signage and being a new business they are focusing on their product and working on the details as they go. Another quick drawback to just get out of the way is... coffee. Again, being a new business and primarily a bakery to begin with, the coffee will flow, but just not now. There is a temporary solution to the coffee issue I will share with you by the end of this review. I found the business right where she said it would be... my inability to find it a week ago was clearly a man issue. When in doubt... ask directions. Anyway, I pulled up and walked in. Before I had closed the door behind me, I was greeted warmly with a friendly hello. I asked if she was Sarah and she said it was. She gave me a great big smile and welcomed me into her bakery/home. Right away I spied their delectable wares and as I was mentioning how it all looked so awesome, I was offered a peanut butter cookie topped with a chocolate kiss. It was delicious and from there I was hooked. I asked about the coffee situation and she acknowledged it is definitely an opportunity and they are working on. We joked about how for now they welcome their guests to make a quick stop for a dollar coffee at McDonald's since it is on the way from downtown. (Feel free to bring Sarah a plain coffee as well.) As Sarah and I spoke, her mother, Jean walked in and joined the conversation. They are definitely a pair! Friendly warm and funny for sure. Together, Sarah and Jean shared some of their goals and ideas with me. I really think they have a great plan. Their personalities, ambition, and ingenuity are inspiring. Their product speaks for itself. I am excited for them and look forward to enjoying their company for some time to come. Some fun facts... As small as their business is, they are still able to take credit cards. I know of three other coffee/bakery shops nearby that only take cash and being the 21st century, that is aggravating to me. Wicked Good Bakery's pricing is more than fair... in fact I believe some items are actually under priced! I found "Wicked Good Bakery" on Facebook today and there is a virtual catalog to look at for products they make. Even though there is no coffee yet... there is the McDonald's option. Great people... Great products... Great experience... Go see them! read more

I was searching for a bakery near Ashland NH and typed that in on Yelp. It brought me to a wonderful farmhouse in Plymouth NH. I was greeted by a sparkly baker. I was able to deliver a beautiful pink colored box wrapped in lime green ribbon to her office. Who doesn't want to enjoy the positive things with the ones you love. My experience is a few different items, ie;cake, cinn rolls and sliced coffee type cake, most of which I found to be on the dry side, not bad flavor, but lack butter (fat). Bakeries are far and few between in this Plymouth/Campton area so I will stop occasionally for a sweet fix! read more

They were super accommodating! I couldn't find anything for my son's first birthday party "smash cake" and initially they were fully booked for cakes. But they did say they can do a nice monster cupcake for him, and we are so happy our son will have something cute to try for his first treat! Thank God for Yelp finding this place for me. It's Friday and our selection was limited because it was near closing. But that says something about their popularity. Got the yummiest cinnamon roll i ever had [sorry Mom] and carrot cupcake. Both scrumptious. But mostly, the woman at the counter was so friendly and happy. Worst bakery ever! I ordered a red velvet birthday cake that was stale & overcooked. Even worse, it was not red velvet at all, but white cake dyed red with food coloring! When my wife and I got married last year, a family member suggested we use Wicked Good Bakery for our wedding cake. We didn't have the largest wedding budget, and the bakery was much better priced than some of the other places we checked out. I was floored with what they delivered on my wedding day. The cake was beautiful, and delicious. Almost all of my guests complimented it when I spoke to them at the reception. Some months later, I got a mini cake for my wife's birthday. there might not be a lot of signage and i might be happy about that since i can get everything that the Wicked Good Bakery has to offer! Just follow the road to the end and your will drive right into the bakery. being a baker myself (and from a family of bakers who dream every now and then to do what the Wicked Good Bakery is doing) i had one of the best (well, 2) of the best cupcakes..oreo and peanut butter. its' worth the drive. especially given that the "other" bakery in town has gone downhill in the past few years. i just need to get up there for some of their donuts! read more

Local family-run bakery. I try to get here as often as possible. The ginger snap cookies (which are on the softer side), are full of flavor, and so far, are my most favorite cookie! This is the best kept secret in the area. I've had the pleasure of having 2 birthday cakes from Wicked Good and they were beyond awesome! My birthday cake, especially, was incredible: 3-layer, 9" chocolate cake with caramel buttercream drizzled with caramel syrup and sprinkled with sea salt in between layers and a fudgy chocolate ganache frosting. Caramel buttercream decorations topped with caramel-filled dark chocolate pieces. We were literally swooning from the pleasure of eating this masterpiece! Highest recommendation possible.
