I WAS A FEW TIMES A WEEK FARMER BOYS CUSTOMER TILL TODAY! Today I had the drive thru attendant start an argument with me because I questioned him about not wearing any gloves. In the past I wouldn't of mentioned it but with all that's going on I imagine they would practice even more caution with their food handling procedures. Mostly everyone does! So I pull up. Guy takes my card. As he takes my card he mumbles "Man your far". I notice he has no gloves. As he hands my card back I say "Hey you don't wear gloves here?" He immediately responds "Your pointing out me not wearing gloves but your not even wearing a mask!" He's right. I was not wearing my mask. I'm in my car. In also a least 6' from the window. I respond "I'm not the one working in a facility which is handling food." As continues to argue with me I point out his rudeness and then I also rudely (as I'm now frustrated) tell him to just get back in the window and get back to work. This really bothers him and he says "Is this the example you want to set for future generations?" He's referring to my daughter who's in the passenger seat witnessing this drive thru fiasco. As he finally gets back in I see him go towards the area where the food is. STILL NO GLOVES. The girl who's also there at the drive thru window immediately puts her gloves on. SMART!! I gesture to the girl and let her know I want to cancel the order. WHY? Cause now I'm thinking this guy is handling my card as well as everyone else's who's coming thru and then money and then handling your food!! They cancel my order and I'm gone. Look, he could've simply said "Oh I don't wear gloves because I only handle the register" but as he immediately rudely tried to turn it on me I believe that's terrible customer service. How do I know? I have been in business in this community for over 20 years. I have own a restaurant, a bar, retail stores, and still run the same business I started 22 years ago. I know customer service. As we drove away I did have a talk with my daughter. I let her know that if I ever had one of my employees treat my customers like that, he'd be gone. As I wrote this my daughter looked up the reviews on this place and to our surprise (NOT) this place is living up to its continued crap for service! Try the Carl's across the street. Less stress better service! read more

I absolutely love Farmer Boys. This review is only about customer service. I ordered two meals but asked for separate transactions since one of those meals is being expensed. They charged the same card separately (which is what I wanted), I signed two different receipts but the copy of the receipt they gave me included the total price. I asked the guy just for my customer copy of both transactions but he was a little confused so he asked a different person named Stacy. She was extremely rude and didn't give me a chance to explain to her that all I needed was my customer copy. Instead she kept speaking over me saying, "sorry I can't do that. That can't be done. I can't do that for you." Then she said the only way I can get another receipt is if she voids the entire transaction and rings it up again. I said, "great! Can you do that?" She said, "nope, sorry." Then she closed the window and left. Shortly after, Claudia (who's a saint compared to Stacy) asked me what the issue was. Since she let me speak and didn't talk over me, she understood that all I needed was a customer copy of the receipts I just signed. She came back within 10 seconds, gave me what I needed and that's it. Farmer Boys, I don't leave bad reviews. In fact, this is the first. But Stacy was just too rude for me not to. This is place is bad! The lady at the register didn't know how to input a discount from the app. She's having problems taking orders. She's asking the manager for help the whole time and he's just walking past her, ignoring her. Customer service from Bertha at the drive thru window was the worst! Poor attitude with no greeting. Bertha was very unprofessional. I have a daughter with egg allergies so I wanted to substitute the eggs, like I do at other farmer boys locations with no issue at all, I was not allowed to substitute eggs that could possibly kill my daughter for a simple order of hash browns! I was very hungry on a very hot early Monday morning, and there just happen to be a Farmer Boys there. My GF has mentioned it a few times before and I was a little curious so I gave it a shot. It was a good solid breakfast (the ham breakfast burrito) it wasn't the biggest thing ever, and the burrito wasn't the boldest thing ever, but you know what... when you're bloody hungry, and need something to eat, Farmer Boys will do it for you. Came here with a coworker one day for lunch. If you go during lunch hour, it will be pretty loud and full of old people on their lunchbreak. The service was good and the people here are really nice. I ordered the kids fish meal. I like how if they see that you're an adult ordering a kids meal, they ask you if you want a regular sized cup instead of the dinky kids cup.. how considerate. Anyways, the fish was delivered to me on a plate of fries and a little heaping cup of heart attack sauce (tartar sauce) on the side. The fish was greasy but tasty and so were the fries. This is, and has been my favorite Farmer Boys location for a few years now. I usually always have a good experience at all of them, but this location has NEVER let me down. They are friendly, expedient, and have ALWAYS gotten my order right. The staff here rocks, even the Manager is nice! First of all, they have truck parking! About 6-7 trucks w/ trailer can park here comfortably. Never had an issue. So my review of the food is almost the same for every location, but I'm reviewing THIS location because its my favorite. The Farmer Burger is great! The Guacamole is very good, but the Bacon and melted Cheddar are what's up with this burger. I would try this first if you've never been, just to set the tone. But my favorite burger here is "The Natural". It just tastes that much better, with bacon, and the bun is like a soft ciabatta bread/bun. The bun is so soft, that I personally do not recommend putting Guacamole on it. It ruins the texture, making it a delicious "mushburger". I like their Pastrami enough, its very good. But I get my Pastrami elsewhere. I like too many other items here better to order it often. The Bacon Turkey Melt is quite good as well, as is anything here with bacon. The Chopped Cobb Salad here is among the best Ive ever had, and they give you plenty, all with fresh ingredients. They have Bleu Cheese that is quite good. They give you the perfect amount for the size of the Salad as well. Recommend eating the Salad in, instead of to go. The presentation is better, with a huge bowl, which makes it easier to mix up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Ive also had the Chopped Cobb Salad Wrap, which is pretty good, and fills you up. But for some reason it doesn't compare to the actual Salad itself. The fries here are good, the fried zuchinni is alright too. The ONION RINGS are VERY good, especially with some salt, or some ranch. BOMB. Ive also had Breakfast here. I recommend the breakfast bowls, they are excellent. Ive had the T-Bone steak and Eggs and they are very good. Better than Dennys, even a bit better than Norms. The restaurant and bathrooms are always spic and span. Ringing the "Good Service" bell as I write this. Kudos. read more

Came into this location during lunch hour. It's pretty quiet and did notice that a lot of the patrons were male. Perhaps due to the factories around the area. I ordered the club sandwich turkey on a ciabatta roll it was good. I also ordered the zucchini and to my surprise they weren't oily or overcooked. In fact they were really crunchy and quite huge. I've been coming to this location for years now. I've been a fan of their club sandwich since day one. I still believe its one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. And I've had plenty of from different places. Breakfast is good too. And their Farmer burger is huge and delicious!! If you live in LA, or Orange counties you may have not ever heard of Farmer Boys. Farmer Boys is a chain of fast food joints out in the Riverside, San Berdoo area, the so called Inland Empire. When it comes to QSRs, this empire certainly strikes back. They are good. Almost In-and-Out good. The exception is that they make more things than just burgers. A whole lot of other things. The menu is pretty extensive, the quality is pretty good and the prices are not too bad. Man can-not live on Double-Doubles alone, it takes a good Club or fish sandwich or a nice salad occasionally to round things out and keep the taste buds in balance. If I could figure out how to award four and a half stars, I certainly would. read more

First time here... I was a little upset at first because I asked for bbq and honey mustard for my sauce but they only gave me one sauce(honey mustard). I told the register girl I would like two but she only put one sauce on my receipt. She also gave me a dirty cup when I finished ordering while I'm waiting for my meal. So I asked to change for another cup. I end up getting a 2 PC's chicken tender kids meal with fries and a drink for $5.38. They end up giving me three PC's of tenders. I'm happy now after they end up giving me an extra tender for the price of two. Thanks to whoever packed my meal! I'm now a happy camper. I'll probably come back again for the fact I got an extra tender. It's not guaranteed I'll get it again but my food was hot and fresh. I recommend coming a few hours to an hour before closing if you want hot and fresh fries and food.
