I have been going to WaBa Grill for many many years and honestly did not realize until today that it is a franchise. I only realized it because this location was that bad. Starting with the food, the steak was the biggest issue. Either the quality is lower here or it is cut completely differently, but it was very thin, dry, and absolutely drenched in marinade. The teriyaki flavor was overpowering in a bad way. The rice was fine, veggies were fine, but the meat was terrible, which is kind of the whole point of coming to WaBa Grill in the first place. What really pushed the experience downhill was the lack of the usual side bar. Every WaBa Grill I have ever been to has the lemons, jalapeños, and extras available. They said they do not have a side bar here and instead give items over the counter. Except they were out of everything. No lemons, no jalapeños, nothing. The employee at the front, Sylvia, was just okay. Not rude, not particularly friendly either, but that is not really the point of the review. Bottom line, this location does not represent what WaBa Grill normally is. I will definitely be avoiding this spot and wanted to leave this review to help others do the same. read more

Only a few customers in the place and the employee looked put upon. She never told me vegetables were extra. Chicken bowl was good and fresh. They used to have carrots ,onions and peppers on the side. Maybe Covid changed everything. Windows on the outside were dirty and the sign is worn. Looks like the owner does not give a S--T !
