The "Big Cheese" with bacon was simply ok...it was overly dry and on a bun that was 1.5x the size of the burger itself. No toppings such as lettuce or tomato; pickles were extremely soft and tasted as though they sat out overnight. Honestly, I've had better burgers at JACK IN THE BOX, which bothered me because I spent 10.59 for a combo with fries...and the fries tasted like my old HS cafeteria lunch fries. I've been to many Farmer Boys locations and never been treated like this. I got into the drive-thru and ordered as usual, I go to pay and this employee had no gloves. I simply ask if they don't where gloves here and he says no. He hands me my drinks and has the audacity to tell me I shouldn't be telling him about gloves when I don't have a mask.. mind you IM IN MY CAR. I tell him I'm in my car I don't have to, you are handling people's food, money, cards etc... he then proceeded by telling my dad that he is teaching me badly and the future generation, he goes inside and talks to his co-worker. Nothing more annoying that going through a drive through, getting back to work and finding out they messed up your order ordered the bread bowl tortilla soup, paid for the bread bowl soup, employee even said the bread bowl was in the bag. Way overpriced - you can eat a meal at Cocoa's or Denny's practically for the cost of this heavy fast food meal. The fries are very heavy and the burgers sit on your stomach like you swallowed a bowling ball. I had really bad stomach trouble once and complained to corporate - they ignore customer complaints. Where do I begin!!! Ok so the burgers here are usually great but today was not one of those days. First off I paid .30 cents for lettuce and I swear it was a piece of paper they put in there. Bacon wasn't crispy and fries were warm. As I was eating, it just did not taste pleasant. I called the restaurant to see if they can remake it and they said yes. So I took my burger and fries to have them remade and the manager (stacy) said she wouldn't remake my fries because there was nothing wrong with my fries. I'm pretty sure people like to enjoy their food how it's ordered and I ordered my burger with fries so I would like to enjoy my HOT burger with HOT fries. After explaining to the manager (stacy) who was very unprofessional and very rude that I wanted to have my whole meal HOT she still refused and told me to leave the restaurant. I will never go back to this location. They need to retrain the manager (stacy) not to be aggressive and rude when the customer is already upset. And maybe if you weren't so rude about fries then your customers wouldn't get upset either Stacy. I'm sure you would like to enjoy your "MEAL" as a whole not your burger 30 min after your fries. Ive been coming here for a good while. About 2 years i believe. My boyfriend lives down the street so im always coming here. I believe there's a female manager who I always run into, I mainly ask for the same thing all the time so when we see each other its like "oh!hey girl!" lol. And the Workers here are great, Nice and friendly. The fact that the place, plus restroom is always clean is great! And yes the food is great too. I would recommend this spot to anyone read more

Had their susage and egg "go bowl". The gravy was good, but could have used more seasoning. The biscuit was soft, but slightly burnt on the bottom. I gave 4 stars instead if three since their service is great, the place is very clean and hey, I did order breakfast at 3:00 in the afternoon. If you haven't tried their farmers burger, it is a must have. It is dripping with grease and special sauce with a nice helping of guacamole. Their zucchini is crispy and fresh. I went to drive thru at about 6 30 PM today. I placed my order and also requested a kids cheeseburger kids meal. The gal was slow but she repeated my order correctly. I drive to the window paid she handed me my order and drinks including a kids drink. We get home 2 miles away and my kids meal was not in the bag. I checked the receipt and I didn't see a kids meal but a 4 piece combo which I didn't order. Which was not in my bag either way. I called the manager and she gave me an attitude. I was at Bloomington for a soccer tournament. My family and I went to Farmer Boys between games. We were so disappointed. After 25 minutes of waiting, my husband spoke to the manager, Navi to check the status of our order. She stated that they were very busy and short handed, so the food was going to take a minimum of 30 minutes. What we did not understand was why everyone else who arrived after us were receiving their order in a timely manner. A few minutes later, the cashier who took our order came to our table to ask us what we had ordered. We provided her with the receipt. She then stated that she forgot to attach the number she had provided us, to place at the edge of the table, to our order. After about 35 minutes, our food arrived. My food and my daughter's food was cold. The cheese on my burger, as well as my patty was dried and semi hard. The fries were not even warm. I took a few bites just because we had used up all our time waiting for our food. We had to head back to the soccer fields so our daughter can make her second game. On the way out, I spoke to Navi, the manager about our experience. She came up with excuses on how they were very busy and if I did not like the food why didn't I bring it back and have them remake it. I informed her that we did not have the luxury of time due to our next soccer game. I informed her that my food and my daughters food was sitting on the counter for too long. That is not good practice. She did not seem to care. Navi needs training on how to manage a restaurant. I would hate for someone to become ill due to their food sitting on the counter. read more

Came in to this restaurant on 12/01/15. Daniel the cashier was great in taking my order but when i was served (by a different person/older women) I asked why the small portion. I was only four cars back from the window and my husband and I sat at the window twenty five minutes waiting, waiting, waiting for my one burger and one fry! The average wait at this Bloomington Farmer boy in the drive thru is about total of twenty five mins. which I find excessive but forty mins? Plus, the employee while taking my order seemed abrupt and rude. Quick service but that should be an automatic. I tried their bacon burger and it was good. Juicy and tasty.
