During our visit, we were immersed in the enchanting spectacle of pumpkins that transformed the landscape into a vibrant sea of autumn hues. The pumpkin displays were creatively arranged in various sizes and colors creating the spirit of fall. There were pumpkins carved in lanterns to imaginative pumpkin sculptures. It provided a perfect backdrop as everyone especially the kids and the kids at heart capture delightful photo moments. The employees were so friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs! I loved the cotton picking session, it was a bit lengthy on the history discussion and the kids (kindergarteners) lost interest about 10 minutes into the 20 minute speel. Overall, we had a fantastic time! BTW, I hear they do a fun setup for Christmas ;)

They made some serious improvements here since we last came…read more Tons of cute areas to take photos and a plethora of new activities. More areas where you can sit and lounge while the kids play and super organized parking. Lots of fresh air and space to spread out enjoy. More vendors who sold yummy treats like pops and kono ice. Our family had a ball and it will go down as one my favorite memories this year. It wasn't crowded when we went which made it more enjoyable. We didn't have to wait in line because they kept things moving at a good speed. Workers were just the sweetest humans on earth who helped my elderly father on and off the wagon. Loved that they had smaller pumpkins this year for toddlers and small children to pick up. There was also a tiny train ride. I really do hope they can lengthen the time frame past October into a week or two in November. If you go to only one patch in October let it be Helena Hallow though. Huge tip! Be sure to wear comfy shoes that can get dirty. It's a farm so there's lots of mud. It's hilly so wear comfy tennis shoes or boots. Definitely keep the heels and sandals at home. Also they seem to allow water bottles so bring one if you spend a whole day out here.

If you have a truck or suv they make you drive through a small stream. The people who run it are nice. Overall will not be returning. Place has changed a lot over the years. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon so crowds were low, and we enjoyed a reasonably priced concession stand type lunch with handmade fried apple pies! There were so many activities to engage in and many places to explore! Beautiful Fall photo ops everywhere and unique pumpkins available for purchase. The animals were precious, all named, and facts were posted about them! It was a beautiful day with such beautiful land to enjoy. It was tucked away from the city but still close enough to I-20 for easy access. I highly recommend visiting this farm for such an enjoyable family experience!

Today marked our fourth visit, and my…read morehusband and I have decided we will not return, nor will we allow our children to believe they should accept poor service, especially when we are spending our hard-earned money. We arrived in wonderful spirits, ready to select our Christmas tree, but were met with a cold, unwelcoming atmosphere that, unfortunately, has become familiar. The quiet, passive-aggressive cold-shoulder is loud in its own way, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unwanted. We have continued coming because our children enjoy the farm, particularly in early to mid-autumn, but this experience sealed our decision. I would genuinely rather drive into the city and sit in traffic than return. To make matters worse, when we visited the animal-feeding area, the attendant shorted our change. After we kindly pointed out the miscalculation, he replied, "Oh, well I don't have any more change." I told him we would simply take additional cups of feed, and he looked at us as though we were unreasonable. Either the math was beyond him, or he assumed we would overpay. Perhaps I am too devoted to my quixotic, Hallmark-inspired hopes for the season, but this experience certainly did not contribute to the holiday warmth we arrived with. I do, however, want to commend the employee who tied our tree onto our SUV. He was the only pleasant member of the staff we encountered. We are happy with the tree itself, but we will now be searching for a new Christmas tree farm. Here's hoping next year brings a lovelier experience. Happy Holidays, everyone.

Get lost in the magic of the enchanted forest!…read more It was dusk when we entered into the Enchanted Forest at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. I felt truly enchanted with it as if we were stepping into a magical realm from the pages of a fairy tale book. The cascading fantasy lights were mesmerizing. The pumpkins, giant bugs, butterflies, snakes glowed in blacklights. The Foggy Hollow was a mystical one with its soft blanket of mist draping the trees and anyone passing through. It was incredibly dreamy. The enchanting music, ground fog, the laser river enhanced the enchanting experience. As we went deeper into the forest, holographic displays of woodland critters appeared with the trees in the dark as their backdrop. I found myself glued to it. The Fobbles (fog-filled bubbles) completed the truly magical ambience and landscape. It was fun and a delightful experience that kids and adults loved. It was worth paying the tickets.
