So exciting to have a large produce market in the neighborhood! I went with my mom to check it out on opening day. There seemed to be a party atmosphere going on, everyone seemed so happy. They were giving out fresh homemade tortillas, samples of chicharrones, salsas and guacamole. Not sure if this will be a normal thing or just to celebrate the grand opening. Either way, nice touch. Great variety of produce! Which I'm super thrilled about. They have vegan products and a plethora of different cut meats. I was impressed with their kombucha selection too. This market is for sure catering to the current food trends. Which I appreciate. Lots of tortilla options and cheeses. I probably wouldn't come here to purchase alcohol. Very standard selection. But that's alright, you're here for the produce, right? Which is what this neighborhood was lacking. Love that they sell ready to eat Peruvian chicken too. Yum. Been shopping here for a few years, the produce is usually very fresh. But their prices are going up every day, well beyond inflation. Prices on many items have nearly tripled in the last 3 years, and beware the meat department. It seems like a revolving door, and the freshness and quality have declined to a point where I don't trust any of their product. So the price has gone up (a lot) and quality has gone downhill to the point where I think they will cause food poisoning if they haven't already. The "taco meat" and things of that nature are incredibly over seasoned, and even through all that you can smell that it's near expired meat that was repurposed and given a new sell by date. Their non perishables are 10-20% higher, or more, than almost any store I've been to recently. The beer selection is overpriced by about 40% across the board. A gallon of near expired milk $6. This is obscene, they're gouging their customers. The checkout is grueling. You could wait in line for 20+ minutes during peak hours, I'd say even when it's slow I spend 5 minutes waiting to start being rung up. And they habitually overcharge me, or double scan items. I paid for a CASE of tortillas once when all I bought was one package. And of course, customer service is never available I just gave up trying. I'd go here for produce, maybe.. there are better options. read more

I bought a chicken baked with roasted potatoes, and side of rice, and I've never tried a disgusting food like this one, the chicken tasted old, like citrus, the sauce was so bad, the roasted potatoes wasn't cooked enough, they were hard w a horrible taste, and the texture of the rice was so weird today, I always enjoy eating this food, but this time everything was horrible, I had to throw my food away. read more

I have been a customer since they opened. I started loving everything from this place, but after a year I stopped buying the Beyond Products there because they came with mold and expired products. I kept coming back because they have an excellent fruit selection. I'm giving them 4 stars because if you bring your own bags you have to pack your own food and most of the time its a lot of produce which is very annoying and the cashiers don't even bother to help you out, their excuse is that they can't do that because of the pandemic but when I go to wholefoods they pack my food. This store is absolutely a great and welcomed addition to the neighborhood. This store reminds me of a Latino version of Marianos. I mean you can buy homemade tortillas (which they sell here 24 in a package for only $1.29) and fresh made salsas though I found the green salsa lacked heat. I really liked the fact that they sell seasoned thinly sliced chicken breast (chipotle/ garlic and herb/or lemon pepper) at the butcher station. In addition, they carry a small vegan section for those meatless Mondays. If you're in a hurry, there are already sliced cheese and deli cuts across from the deli station as well as a salad bar and hot bar. I made myself a green salad and added some fettuccini salmon salad and it was quite tasty. I also picked up a small serving of the arroz con gandules (PR rice) and bistec en salsa verde (steak in green salsa) from the hot bar and it was pretty good. I did see the bakery and the selection looked great. I bought the French bread but wasn't impressed by its flavor. There is also a taco section with a gentleman making it to order. Will definitely need to stop in again and try them next. Overall, this place carries a great selection and is worth a visit. read more

I have visited the store a couple of times now near closing time and they close their doors too early. The store is said to be open until 9pm, yet they are closing their doors 10 mins prior and refusing entry to customers who are complaining that the store does not close until 9pm. The store is bright and airy with a lot to offer, however, good service is not one of them. read more

I've couldn't wait for them to open. First things first, I want to say Welcome to the neighborhood!! I hope it will stay clean and nice as long as it is open. I don't want to see bags and papers flying around and that to destroy this brand new , well designed market. It is refreshing and great addition to this plaza. I had a quick tour and I was pleasantly surprised with the interior also. Nice combination of grocery and different stations.. so you have, fresh veggies and fruit, deli, fresh made tortillas station yes yes, meat, bbq( tacos meat), hot bar, bakery.. Outstanding customer service and a wild variety of affordable quality foods some of which are way expensive at Whole Foods. I'm lactose intolerant so they have section for dairy free meatless items which I love. The deli department is so efficient no long waits skilled employees like Gabriel who helped me cut my four meat selections how I wanted them in a quick pace great sense of urgency not just standing around talking which I've experienced at other deli departments. They make in house tortilla shells and Mexican sweet breads so I am definitely going back. I was originally going to Jewel-Osco but stopped in here and was able to get everything I needed. read more

I was hoping a spot would fill the old babies r us location. It took some time for the spot to open but I am glad it did. The bricktown square needed something new. This store to open was an amazing idea. I was hesitant at first but it is worth it. Very clean location. Fully stocked. Prices are good, also depending what you are looking for. The fruits and vegetables are well stocked and at decent prices. The bananas are 0.39 cents a pound. The meats are good cuts, plenty to choice from. The tortillas are hand made and at 0.99 cents a package that is an awesome deal. Friendly staff and service. You have a lot to choose from including a hot bar of food and a food prep area to take to go with indoor and outdoor seating. Overall great location. Worth the wait. I will be back soon. Price gouging and false advertising. This week they advertised $0.49/lb chicken drumsticks, $1.49/lb pork spareribs, $0.69/lb tomatoes. When I got there the chicken drumsticks were $1.99/lb, the spareribs were $2.99/lb, and the tomatoes were $0.99/lb. When I asked the manager about this, he said oh that must have been last week. Be careful with the meat. It's gone bad. Also I brought my own bags and the lady insisted on bagging Wich I normally like to do myself. This lady put my bannanas in the same bags with the cans!!! Who the f*** does that! If u work at a grocery store u should know plus it's common sense. Hands down, the best hot bar and salad bar I've ever had. The food not only looks good, but actually has flavor! I don't know who's cooking in the kitchen, but they are throwing down. Kudos to the kitchen staff. The bistec was so tender and the spicy alfredo had a nice kick to it. The salad bar has a great selection of tuna and pasta salads as well. I've also tried the sushi from the sushi bar and enjoyed the salmon rolls. I haven't bought much groceries as the prices are a bit steep compared to other grocers in the area, although I come frequently for lunch as it's affordable. read more

There is only one review similar to this one, but I think it is necessary to make this known and support the people who are being affected by this. They are hiring people and telling them to quit their jobs and once they start after just a week of work they fire them. They told my parents that they needed them and asked them to bring all info from the previous store and once they started they came up with lame excuses to let them go. They should have known better when they got hired because they were told that they wanted to fire the 2 girls who are working there. It is very wrong to tell someone to quit their previous job and then just let them go. People have families and kids to feed and that is wrong. This place doesn't care about workers but all they care about is their own pocket. I would never shop here again knowing how they treat their employees. We as customers should support businesses that treat their employees well. read more

Yesterday on 9/11 was my first time in this store . What drew my attention was because it's big and brand new . I also checked out the circular and read that they accepted manufacturers coupon which is a plus for me cause I like love to save . Overall the store was clean and maintained however many things I saw were overly priced . After shopping off my grocery list , I proceeded to check out I handed the cashier my 2 valid manufacturers coupons in total of $2 off . The first thing she said was they don't accept it so I frowned and I said that your store has it printed on the ad . Basically there advertising false and misleading communication to their customers . The front end manager stated their working on it but how are you still advertising something that your not ready for ? The store manager did nothing about it not even manually deduct $2 off . This made me frustrated because you can sue businesses like this . This was my first and last impression of this place I will never shop here again I rather stick to Caputos ! read more

Very disappointed with my most recent experience here. I shop here regularly and have never had an issue until today. I had walked in after having had shopped at a store next door and decided to walk in. Upon walking in a worker approached me and told me to leave my bags at the service desk (i had a small shopping bag and backpack on), he kept saying leave them up there. I went on my way because i thought he wanted me to leave them there so i didn't have to carry them while i shopped but I didn't mind, well he proceeded to follow me and insist i leave my personal belongings at the service desk repeatedly. When I asked why, he said "I don't know, just leave them there"....? Now I've worked retail and I understand this was probably some loss prevention procedure but off all the people entering the store (WITH personal belongings on their person..bags, purses etc) i was specifically targeted for no reason. As POC I experience this all the time I just didn't think it would happen at a place where the majority of customers are hispanic and/or POC's. Needless to say i was followed all the way to checkout and can say this will be the last time shopping there. Heard the manager/management suck so hopefully they see this. read more

There isn't many bad reviews in here, but this might be the first one. Many people left their jobs to come work here because they thought they had bigger opportunities. People left their old jobs to come here and not even a month in and the Manager started firing people just because it was "many" people working there and couldn't pay them anymore. Keep in mind these people have families they have to support, pay bills etc, they came here thinking they were going to be successful, but ended up being disappointed. However, the Manager didn't think about that, instead thought about himself and how the "good" the business should run. The boss doesn't seem to do anything about it but let the manager take control in firing people that are hard workers, unlike they hire people that "work" just to sit around and don't know ONE thing about the position they are working on. Now back tracking, before Farmer's Best Market there was Del Rancho Market which was in my opinion A LOT better there was a butcher shop, fruit section, every station a market will have including a bakery/pastry shop. I know a man that worked there he was in charged of the bakery he had everything in control, the bread was amazing no words for that and at a good price there was very good employment in the bakery always well taken care of. He worked there ever since it opened which was around 2014, total of 5 years. Since he was so good at his job they decided to bring him in to Fresh Best Market because the Manager of Del Rancho Market were now managers of that store it seemed like they wanted a good business that he knew he was capable of bringing in the bakery section so they decided to transfer him there, when Del Rancho Market closed down. Fast forward till now they decided the bakery wasn't going so "well" which was false because many people went there asking for FRESH bread the man did. Most of it wasn't fresh, it was frozen in package and workers there will just heated up and put it there to sell. However, this man made bread from scratch ingredient to ingredient and was being sold more than the bread that was in package. Today he was fired because the bakery station wasn't going "good" and the amount they were paying him wasn't worth it, out of everybody he was the only one fired. After all these years of him working with them and this is what they do to him? Yet, they decide to pay more to the workers that just unpack and unfreeze frozen bread to sell. It is not the same as fresh bread!!!! read more

This is only my second time visiting this place and although I was impressed the first visit, I will not be returning after this experience. My shopping was great up until the point that I made it to the register. All my items were scanned and in bags and all I had to do was pay for my purchase. I used my chase debit card and the cashier told me the first time it was declined. Knowing it was a mistake I tried a second and third time. Again declined. I knew it didn't make sense because I had plenty of funds in my account to cover the purchase. After the third time I tried Apple Pay. Again declined. The cashier turns to me and says someone had the same problem earlier and the bank told them "they were closed down". I'm not even sure what that means but it was the dumbest thing I have heard in my life. Chase closed down? She then calls a manager, again the manager has me try another 5 times. Nothing. They keep telling me they keep getting an error message on their end that says "bank offline". I assumed this is what she meant by "the bank is closed". After about what felt like the 10 most embarrassing minutes of my life, they tell me no nothing is happening. "Soooooo, now what?" I ask. "Are you telling me you're only accepting cash?". All the manager does is nod. By now every single cashier is aware that their system is down and not accepting debit cards and are all looking at me. I had to do the only thing I could do and give everything back only because in 2019 they weren't accepting debit cards. The situation itself wasn't so bad, I understand that sometimes things happen and systems go down, sure. But what made the whole situation irritating was the employees communication skills. They really did not try to fix the situation with me, they just kept telling me "No" every time I tried swiping and the system kept declining. It felt like I had to answer my own questions because they had no idea what was going on and on top of that I was the only one embarrassed for holding up the line. No apologies, just "try again later". No I will not be back later or never. read more
