Sam and his roomful of assistants provide the worst service of all time. I can hardly talk to Sam because he is always busy. His assistants know nothing when you ask them questions, and they will tell you "go ask Sam" ...but where is Sam??? I have to get a new policy every year because Sam never follow up about the renewal (and according to Farmer's policy, the agents are supposed to follow up with you). We were already with Farmers for many years trusting our agent to keep our best interests at heart but when we realized that wasn't happening, we called to cancel, but then we got referred to Sam Chau's Agency, and Anita helped us review our policies and reconfigure the coverages that we needed and find the deals with the payments that fit in our budget. She was so knowledgeable and patient with us, explaining everything and walking us through the process step by step. She always answered the phone and responded to our questions in a thorough and timely manner. She was so organized and meticulous, she sent us all the info on our 8 policies in a spreadsheet, so we could keep track of payments, due dates, payments and companies. Used to be 5 stars now only 1 star because William left me feeling like I had no car insurance a few times. Imagine buying a car calling your agent telling them you just bought another car. And he tells you your not covered. So apparently I felt unsafe, uncomfortable and unprotected while I was driving, but I know my insurance policy covers my car automatically for at least 30 days. This guy Willy also tells me I only have 1 way coverage until I register the car which is BS also on another incident. Then when we tried to remove a car from our policy because we sold it. This guy said he can't remove it until we show proof from the DMV that the car has been sold and liability has been released BS again. The way Willy does things is a bunch of BS making it very inconvenient and his info is all wrong. I had to call corporate and make sure what I knew was right. Yes corporate confirm it's a bunch of bologna Willy was trying to feed me. When I buy a car I only have to show legal proof I own the car to purchase insurance it doesn't have to be registered under my name meaning a bill of sale and I'm automatically covered for 30 days this is what the corporate office confirm. This is how you're able to drive home safe when you buy a car it's common sense. Willy is confuse, he sells insurance but operates like he works as a supervisor for the DMV. If I call to add a car to my policy just add it, if I call to remove it remove it, it's the agents jobs to make sure I'm covered and protected. Unfortunately Willy more concern about registration then his customer being safe and covered. read more

Our family's renewal annual auto insurance premium with Farmers increased by $900 (three cars) for no reason. We didn't have any accidents or traffic violations. I called in and requested a quote. She was very polite and professional. She took down our information and emailed me a quote with Allstate very quickly.
