I was craving a sandwich, and since I love pesto and mozzarella, I went ahead and ordered their chicken sandwich. I was shocked the generously sized grilled chicken breast I got that was dressed with arugula, tomato, mozzarella, pesto, and pressed between a ciabatta roll. It definitely ate like a meal, but it was relatively fresh and healthy. It even came with a small side of tomato salad. I had the sandwich with a monster sized cold brew to help wake me up and get over my caffeine withdrawal from that long car trip. This place not only has a good selection of comfort foods, it also sells local goods such as chocolates, spices, and local honey. Since i was trying to be frugal, I didnt buy the honey or chocolate, but it was awfully tempting. My sister got a bowl of sone kind, which she adored, but it was so big she couldn't finish it. Normally I'm not one to complain, but the reason seemed to be the young woman with dirty blonde hair working the register. Now to the rest. I walked in and waited in line for about five minutes! This is great, I like to see local businesses flourish. Once ordered, I got my tea and waited. And waited. And waited. First time in, I was warmly greeted by Savannah and she took the time to tell me her favorite things. I went with her suggestion of the vegan chorizo breakfast burrito and it's delicious! So delicious that I got one to go for a friend. It's finely ground and seasoned tofu. The flavor is to die for and the textures are spot on, with a nice amount of warm soft and crunchy. We were so happy to find this spot within walking distance when we stayed at the Doubletree on San Marco. They had excellent espresso and lattes. We were in the area today and decided to come back and were highly disappointed. We ordered our lattes and had to wait 10 + minutes for our drink. We came for Mother's Day on a last minute decision looking for something with Vegan options that also had other options. We arrived just after noon and it wasn't busy at all, we ordered at the counter and sat outside to wait for our food, which came surprisingly fast. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I ordered a Vegan Bagel for me and a Vegan Chorizo Wrap for the baby lol. I'd have to say, the bagel was really good because it was very light, not like a super thick bagel. It was also the cheaper option. I think the Chorizo Wrap was good but it was mostly Tofu Scramble inside with a few potatoes so I liked the bagel better. The bagel had better flavor and was good with the mild sauce they have on the tables. I tried to get some mustard out of the bottle but it was nearly impossible. Cute concept but not practical. I didn't need the mustard anyways because the order don't come with a side. To drink, I ordered a Hot Chocolate with Oat Milk. The food was tasty and I got to try everything I wanted so I left with a happy belly. It's a very casual atmosphere and they have some cool items inside to buy. We also bought some Chocolate Peppermint Almond Pecan Butter for $12. By other people's posts, it looked like they had local honey but there was only one bottle of infused honey when we came in. I have been to dinner twice now. Both times the food was absolutely scrumptious. It doesn't hurt that the vast majority of their food, coffee, and tea is locally grown or produced, even the cheese. The first time I had the steak with mashed potatoes and veggie. The steak was cooked to perfection. The appetizer we split (which you definitely have to split) was the cheese board. It comes with a delicious pretzel and a variety of local cheeses and fruits. It is just about a meal on its own. The second time I went to dinner was MUCH better. They finally have table service for dinner. No more counter ordering which made a much better experience. This time I tried the Pei Mussels, these tender little guys are very tasty and are bathed in a white wine cream sauce. I also tried their bistro burger - definitely worth eating. This was all made better by being able to sit down at a table and eating a romantic dinner that was perfectly coursed and then being able to sit and decide on desert.
