This is a great breakfast spot ! This was my first time to at this location and I will say it made a lasting impression ! My friends refused to eat anywhere else and now I see why because the food was absolutely delicious. My platter came with a biscuit cut in half and topped with egg style Of choice , and gravy and side protein . I chose chicken and added a side of fried green tomatoes ( good lord almighty ) ! Every bite was good but attention coffee lovers... their maple vanilla latte was so good I ordered one to go !!! I definitely will be finding a local location to visit near me .

    Biscuit and "spicy" sausage gravy

We came here before the Christmas parade. The best part is the cute & cozy outdoor patio outside. But that's where the good ends. I don't think they were ready for a Saturday crowd. We've never had a good experience at any Maple Street biscuit once they were bought out. We used to visit ALL THE TIME back in the day. We gave it a try one more time for the first time in a few years, but won't make that mistake again. We ordered the biscuit and "spicy" sausage gravy - added bacon. I asked the cashier if it was spicy and she said no, not really - and she was right. I don't do spicy and it didn't have any at all, which I was thankful for - but why label it spicy then? At first my order was rung up with a large side of bacon and not the listed option on the menu item to add it to the meal, so I corrected the cashier. We paid extra to add cheese to the eggs, but as you can see, none was added. We asked for an extra plate a few times but they didn't bring one out so had to go back inside to get one. We ordered an iced coffee, received a hot one - while they did remake it, the "barista" was also the cashier and I felt terrible interrupting a line out the door in order to let her know it wasn't iced as we had ordered and on our receipt. The food tasted okay, but after all that - we won't return.

Amazing service ! The food is 10/10!! I got the "Farmer" and I was iffy at first but it was amazing and I cleaned my plate. Definitely filling also!

One of my new favorite stops when we are visiting St Augustine. I discovered this place when I was looking for biscuits but had come to love their breakfasts! Looking for something yummy stop here!

We went on a Monday morning and there was no crowd. Staff is super friendly. Very open and airy. Looks really clean and new. You order at the front then they bring you your food. We got the The Squawking Goat and The Five and Dime. Both were outstanding. The Squawking Goat had a little kick to it in the jelly. When you finish you take your dirty dishes to the back. Highly recommended.

Fluffy biscuits and savory gravy! The food hit the spot and it came out hot and quickly. Kid friendly establishment. We found $10 parking a block away.

Me and my friend had breakfast, it was called the power bowl! Everything was delish and fresh! The manager Boston checked in and he was great.

Wow! Tasty biscuits! So good I will return! I forget the names, but... We had (1) the biscuit with chicken, bacon, and maple syrup. Talk about a sweet and savory experience, and (2) the biscuit with chicken, sausage gravy, cheese, egg. The sausage gravy was a little on the spicy side but not bad. Spicey fans would love it. The batter on the chicken was just right. It had the right amount of crunch. It did not taste greasy. The biscuit was also very good. It was not hard nor dry. Definitely give this place a try for a unique biscuit breakfast sandwich experience. Sandwiches are approximately $12 in April 2025.

We visited Maple Street Biscuit Co today for breakfast. We all loved it. The line was out the door but it moved along quickly. I ordered the Eggstreme biscuit with spicy sausage gravy and chicken. The Mrs ordered the farmer. We also ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice. When they say fresh squeezed it's done as you order it. My meal was wonderful the biscuit was excellent and the chicken was wonderful. I cleaned my plate and looked over at my wife's plate. She too cleaned it up. We did utilize a coupon for 2 smashed potatoes hash brown. Think a mashed potato inside with a fried outside. Pretty, pretty good.

The Tacos and biscuit sandwich and drinks were great!

Friends recommended this great breakfast place and they were spot on! I enjoyed the two tacos and my husband had the biscuit sandwich and they were both wonderful. He also enjoyed the peach tea and loved it so much, he had a second. Krista was wonderful and checked on us several times as we ate but didn't hover, which was perfect. We ate outside which was nice, as we were able to people watch and enjoy the beautiful day. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they have the restaurant in other locations, to include Short Pump, VA so we will visit again.

I consistently send any friends, family or acquaintances visiting the area here for breakfast and I've never had a complaint. It's exactly what the name says. They have fantastic biscuits with chicken, different hash bowls and eggs. I love their cheddar grits or any of the grit options. It's a hardy, yummy, southern spot, right in downtown Saint Augustine. Parking can be hard to come by as it is most of the time in downtown Saint Augustine, however there are a couple of pay lots just in front and to the sides if you don't feel like making the walk. Expect to wait to order and sit as there is usually always a line. Seating is very casual. Perfect way to start your day exploring dt Saint Augustine

Food was some of the best breakfast food my fiancé and I ever had! Tasty and flavorful. The service was a bit slow but understandable for how busy they are. Dining is self seating and they don't accept tips interestingly. Thank you for a great brunch!

The food was absolutely phenomenal per usual - we are obsessed with the squawking goat biscuit! We usually have no issues with this location and don't mind the long line but today they were out of 3 of the 4 other things we tried to order. We've also had the same cashier on our last 3 visits here and she has never been the nicest. Besides the service, the food is great!

I see the vegetarian options on the menu but what are the vegan options?

Where is the best place to park?

Parking lot across the street, best place is public parking and walk. You can also take a trolley tour and get off just up the street.

I know it's a biscuit place, but are there gluten free options or biscuits?

There are salads and items w/o biscuits. So I think so. Just ask.

Therefore, this gets a long wait for breakfast/brunch. It's hard to get a parking spot but there's free parking across the street. They have a big waiting area next to the restaurant which is definitely needed as we ended up waiting like 45 minutes around 9:30 am on a Saturday. The food was definitely worth the wait though. I got the burrito smothered with sauce and cheese and the flavor was fantastic. Flavorful but not super spicy or anything. It's also HUGE. Highly recommend. Service is a little questionable, if it was quicker they could probably help with their long wait. It was hard to flag down our girl when we needed something & it took ages to get to check.

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. Not sure what keeps people coming back, honestly.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.
