The sweetest staff and not to mention amazing food!!! I got the carne asada burrito without cheese and usually in a breakfast place that isn't my go to whatsoever. This burrito was delicious and had such amazing flavor I would 1000% get again! I also got a cold brew as well one of the ladies was nice enough to help me out with adding oat milk into it. You pretty much do it yourself when it comes to the coffee, it turned out to be delicious with a splash of oat milk and 3 pumps of vanilla syrup! You pretty much order your food up front and then find a seat, your food will be brought over to you when ready. The place itself is so cute and homey! Once again Yelp steered me in the right direction! This is literally a little hole in the wall( which I love!) super tiny, but we were able to sit at the counter and eat our meal. This is nothing but fabulous home cooking! There were two chefs cooking right in front of us the entire time and they did not miss a beat. I got the pimento cheese chicken sandwich and it was everything I wanted it to be! My fiancée got the Spanish breakfast bowl and he thought it was great! We also shared an extra biscuit with the cinnamon butter based on the reviews we read on Yelp and it did not disappoint! We would visit again when in the area for sure. read more

The food is always delicious and the portions are large. The variety is a little limited but they make up for it with specials. The service is friendly and the owner is normally present and working hard with her cooks. Its a small restaurant that is most suitable for take out. The parking can be a little tight but I have never failed to find a spot. I am giving them a 4 star only because if lack of seating options but everything else is easily 5 stars fir me. I highly recommend giving them a try. After the first visit you will see them again. read more

Man on Man this is definitely a staple in the city! My husband and I were definitely impressed with this place. I knew this place would be tasty as every single review I read it was 5 stars. Everyone was super friendly and ready to help. The sandwiches omg really were ahhhhmazing the flavor ummmhmmmm hit every single spot. When I bring my family back we will be making our drive here. Great Service by the owners! Annnd the food was delicious. The gravy was 5-star. I am picky about my biscuits and gravy and it was nice and thick and tasteful. We are always on the look out for new places and this tiny little spot just opened a few weeks ago. Tucked away between Sweet City bakery and Muffs. Although new, this breakfast and lunch spot has a very experienced chef. If you like Back Forty, the Blue Hen, and a bunch of other local spots you will enjoy this menu. We sat up at the counter but there is also a few tables out front. The service is fast and friendly. My husband went for the Buttermilk Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwich. We watched the chef dip this beautiful chicken breast in a homemade buttermilk batter and flash fry it. This sandwich was layered with the chicken, grilled ham, cheese and a Datel pepper sauce. Hubby ate it so fast I didn't even get a bite! He said it was delicious!!! I went for the Carne Asado hash. It was a perfect combination of seasoned pulled beef, caramelized onions, and potatoes. We sat outside to eat, which was Wonderful. I had fresh arugula and tomato on my sandwich and the quality was astounding. Also, the datil hot sauce that we were given was Amazing. My husband and I visited for the first time and we loved it! They serve breakfast bowls, Sandwiches and burritos. It is a great place for a quick breakfast. It was so nice outside we were able to sit and enjoy the weather. The staff although busy were so nice. The sandwiches are big and filling. They are not your typical breakfast sandwiches which was the appealing part for us. The only thing I would have changed is getting my sandwich on a biscuit, but my breakfast was still delicious! In my search for restaurants I go by ratings. This place is every bit 5 stars. It's small with limited seating. Most locals order to go. It's not your typical egg,bacon,potato menu. We ate here twice on our vacation. It is delicious! We had the Cuban, chicken pimento cheese biscuit, home fries, cheddar grits, biscuits and gravy and chicken and grits bowl. (Not all at once!) The grits are great! The service is very friendly. Please note: the place is really small. There are only about 7 or 8 seats, so be prepared to get it to go, if necessary. read more

The biscuits are big and flakey and the sausage has amazing flavor. we also tried the Denver, which is ham, egg, cheese, peppers and onions on a biscuit. It was also amazing. The service was fast and so friendly! We felt so welcome and the staff/owner/cook were so amazing. We returned all three days of the rest of our vacation Ambiance- There is both seating inside and outside seating also. Very cozy but still comfortable, good music always playing. My friends and I stopped here on a Sunday morning before heading back to Gainesville. The staff are warm and accommodating. It is a cute little place where you can order at the counter and then sit inside or out with your food. The food was very fresh and the prices are super reasonable. The coffee is also pretty good, with a couple syrups and creamer you can add in. Definitely a good stop for a lowkey breakfast/lunch with friends or even if you're by yourself. I recently tried The West Egg for the first time. We work close by and did a to go order. I tried the Cuban, a iced coffee and the two others got the BLT. My sandwich was AMAZING! The quality was so good, the sandwich was generous, the toppings were ridiculously good and the coffee was delicious. The other ppl said the same about theirs! The girl that assisted me was so kind, helpful and she made sure we had everything we would need, to enjoy our food on the go! It easily became one of our favorite, local places! Saw some good reviews about the west egg and decided I'd try it, the reviews did not disappoint the people working there were great & fast service . It's more of a grab and go kind of place I'd say but they do have a little high top area to sit and eat inside and some tables and chairs outside. I got the blt literally the best I've ever had And just a regular iced coffee. If your looking for more of a coffee spot I wouldn't really recommend this place, BUT for some breakfast foods 100% recommend. read more

You will get 3 cups of high quality coffee to share at the table or have all to yourself. As far as dining al fresco, the front courtyard is beautiful! However, on our trip it was too cold to dine outside. We were seated at a large table inside that accommodated our large group. They had several tables inside, but I could see on a busy Sunday or Saturday morning this place would get waitlisted quickly. Everyone loved their meals. No complaints. I ordered the lobster roll. It was very good, but I would try something different on a return visit. The salads coming out looked amazing! Everyone at my table raved about their meals: Shukshuka, BALT, Benedicts, cinnamon rolls. Every single thing was enjoyed!

I'm pretty sure my 5 stars are gonna help push this place to a full 5.0 The design itself is cute but not exactly perfection, and the checkout line process could definetly be smoother during busy times. BUT the food... thats where this place absolutley shines. The Arepas Special with the corn pancakes filled with eggs, avocado and tomatoes was an absolute BEAST. Fresh, flavorful and super satisfying. Then the Avocado Toast with the sweet pumkin pieces just blew the rest of our taste buds out the window. Such a weird combo on paper but somehow worked sooo good. And finishing it all with a Cafe con Leche and a blueberry scone just put the final dot on this breakfast experiance. The mushroom tostadas were probably the best tostadas i've ever had. They were so flavorful and fresh I ate my whole plate. Definitely a must try if you're from or in the area.
