Perfect hummus with warm pita....yum. The Butter Chicken was perfectly seasoned and piping hot with fragrant jasmine rice. I ordered the naan- and glad I did...licking the bowl would have been embarrassing, but I didn't want to miss a single drop of the sublime butter sauce! Bonus: all white meat on the chicken. Juana, our server was friendly and knowledgeable-she really went out of her way to make sure we had a great meal. Also, spot on with her recommendation of the baklava. This place deserves so much more recognition. The food, the staff, the environment, the music, it was everything. My waitress, Alison, and bartender, Sam, were beyond welcoming and kind. I didn't want for anything because Alison was so attentive. Everything tasted amazing, not overcooked or overly oily and the way everything was seasoned was perfection. So glad this new Greek restaurant opened in Parkside Main! Apparently the one in Milledgeville is great and successful. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean, with plenty of seating. The menu has some Indian and Middle Eastern dishes as well. We ordered spanakopita, chicken schwarma wrap, and salmon. The food was good but the cook on the chicken and salmon wasn't perfect. read more

I visited the new Metropolis Café in Greensboro during their soft opening on 10/12. Because this was a new restaurant. Unfortunately, they do not have a liquor license the day I was there. But I will not disqualify on that of course because I understand those take time to get signed off on by the state. In terms of the food, it was really really good! My Gyro tasted absolutely good, especially with the chips that came with it. In terms of the service. I would say it took a little long to get served. So I think some improvement on table service and servers would be good. Otherwise, I would say this is a very nice casual place to go to. And I wish them nothing but the best going forward! read more

What an amazing new restaurant! Everything was perfect. The ambiance was super light and inviting. It was a really cute change from the other restaurants around the lake area. Our server, Olivia, was very helpful and sweet. All the food came out quickly as well. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Shawarma Wrap, which was amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly. My stepdad had the burger, and he's usually critical but said he loved it and at the whole thing. My little brother had the chicken tenders and fries, and even their fries are really good! Overall, I think this was exactly what this are needed, and would highly recommend everyone to give it a try. read more

New restaurant with original location in Milledgeville, GA. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Excellent menu with mostly Greek food along with some Indian food as well. We ordered a Greek salad with gyro meat and a Greek burger that had gyro meat and feta cheese. The salad was good with the exception of overripe cucumbers. The burger, on the other hand, was overcooked and dry. They need to think about getting better quality burger meat. Large, generous portions. Will be back and will try some other menu items. read more

This is NOT Mediterranean food. Barbecue sauce instead of tamarind on shawarma.. shawarma doesn't come with tamarind btw, but I still gave it a chance and it was not what the menu stated. Tabouli was not what menu stated either, came on lettuce and does not mention that on the menu. Tabouli is never served with lettuce. Waiter stated, "I just work here"... Metropolis Cafe has pleasant staff, a nice ambiance, and food that is okay. The kebabs do not seem to be cooked on skewers or have all that much flavor, they use a LOT of oil to cook the vegetables and meat, and the rice seems flavorless. I would love to support a new restaurant but tried twice and can't do it again. Glad others have had better experiences. read more
