Much like other reviews, the job went on for about 9 months. My property was left in complete shambles and my front yard became storage for the owner's equipment. They had no respect for my property, regularly discarding their lunch garbage on my property as well as debris from the job. There was trash everywhere. In order to raise my property, he chose to save money and use dirt mixed with concrete and rock. As you can imagine, the concrete has completely hardened over the years causing grass to be built essentially on a concrete slab. My property now does not drain water, so the water just sits on the grass causing me countless water issues. I have had to pay to have drains installed throughout my property in hopes of fixing this issue. I will have to eventually dig all this up and replace this the proper way. They chose not to use concrete to build the walls of my pool patio, instead using paver walls filled with sand. The patio around my pool has collapsed in many areas. When it rains you can watch the sand just flow out the sides of the patio walls. I have patched this over the years, but now it is fully collapsing and will need to be fully replaced. The settling also caused the pool pipes to break and those had needed to be replaced. They chose to use cement block to raise the pool instead of pouring cement. They never filled the holes in the cement blocks properly and never smoothed the edges. Immediately upon completing the job, I had to replace the pool liner because the cement blocks caved in causing holes. I now have to replace the pool liner a second time in 4 years and re-do the work around the pool to correct the poor craftsmanship here. Hampton Hardscapes also installed an outdoor kitchen for me. As I have been having to fix that over the years, I had a high quality mason come and he could not believe that the entire structure was built using wood and stucco, vs building out the structure properly. I will also need to replace this in totality due to poor craftsmanship. All in all, it will cost me about $100K to fix all the low quality work done on my property. I trusted Yasser and his company to fix my issues, but was left with more problems than I started with. The best part is, Yasser threatened to sue ME for withholding less than 5% of the final payment as I begged them to finish the job, get his equipment off my property and fix the things which were broken throughout the process. I can back up this entire review with pictures and receipts.

(I discovered that just about every fence on Main St is theirs.) Called for an estimate and the owner, Michael, came by to discuss the project. Michael is personally involved in every job, with the goal being perfection. They're very busy (four week wait at least), but definitely worth waiting for. They sent over a very friendly, capable crew that did a great job installing the fence. From the first post to the final paint touch-up they were a pleasure to have at my home. They were also open to some tweaks as their worked progress (i.e., swapped black for brushed stainless hardware, changed closing latch). Some may feel that EHF&G is little pricey, but I think you get what you pay for - great design, sturdy materials and a quality product. I'm very happy.

He initially quotes a reasonable estimate for work. He then hems and haws about scheduling, repeatedly setting dates and then not showing up, not answering calls or responding to emails. IF he ever finishes the job -- a very big if, as he left our project half-done and wasn't heard from again for 3 months -- the invoice he eventually sends is more than twice the estimate he quoted. In our case, he double-billed us for materials that we purchased ourselves and had delivered, at his request. He tried to charge us for them again, but with a mark-up over the price we paid to the supplier. When you request a statement outlining costs and services, he whines about how his time is too valuable for him to spend documenting his statements, and that you just have to trust him that you owe the amount he says you owe. It's difficult to trust someone who told you on 4 different occasions he would come to finish the job and never showed up at all. Michael left us with a half-finished project we then had to contract with a more reliable company to complete. In the meantime, we just had to live with the mess.

When they dropped the firewood, I told the driver it didn't look like a full cord. He insisted it was. When I stacked it, it was quite clear it was slightly more than a half cord. I called, was asked to send pics and measurements. I did. it was clear. Chris's response? I've been in business 35 years I don't make mistakes. And he's yelling. Because that's what you do to a dissatisfied customer. You yell . And you dont correct your error. You hang up on the customer. And in later convos he denies his earlier statements. Gaslighting. And yelling. Over a half a cord of wood. Cheating a customer for $130. Over his mistake. Class act. (Insert eye roll here) Avoid this guy. His ego makes him difficult to work with. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE....WOULD ADVISE NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY:…read more1) In power washing an IPE deck Schindler's machinery left permanent dark stains on various portions of the deck. Subsequent powerwashing did not remove the stains which I assume were caused by one of the liquids they were using. 2) Instead of lifting up deck furniture, workers dragged some of it across the deck causing several long approx. 10 ft. scratches. 3) Workers used a power washer that was too strong for the walls of the outdoor shower and fencing, turning a layer of wood into dust which got stuck all over the side of my house, outdoor fixtures, air conditioner, etc. 4) Powerwashing machinery left on lawn burned the grass turning it yellow. AFTER PAYING SCHINDLER'S INVOICE, I HAVE NOW HAD TO SPEND MANY HOURS TRYING TO CORRECT THE ABOVE MISTAKES! VERY FRUSTRATED BY THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK!

On a whim decided to stop at Hamptons Carpet One and it was one of the best decisions I made regarding the ADU! Eugenia greeted us and gave us an honest, up front assessment of our needs and what would work. We never felt pressured. We walked away so much informed and decided to go with engineered flooring instead of the LVT. We let our builder know about our visit. He was just as excited about the product we found. The next thing we know, we're ordering 36 boxes of engineered wood flooring that looks BEAUTIFUL. Excellent quality at an affordable price with great service. These peope know their stuff, and even when I called, and spoke to other staff, it was like talking to family. So helpful. I can't recommend them enough! I'm grateful we have a resource like them on the East End. They serve all sorts of clientele. Again, are very knowledgeable and although we didn't need them to install, they offered a great package if they did. You have to stop in at least once in your journey for the right flooring. I am a woman alone with children. I simply did not want my car damaged. I'm not sure what this guys problem was but I know I'd never want him in my house doing an installation. I was shaken. My husband on speakerphone could hear the man screaming at me. People were staring. This employee clearly has a massive anger issue. I called the business and the woman said "I'm sorry that happened, that's the world now." No, that's your employee and their behavior was completely unacceptable.
