Taste like every other American pizza. It's all ultra processed Sysco food. Cooking it in a bastardized Italian style pizza oven doesn't help. Putting overpowering cheap garlic oil makes it taste even more synthetic. Waitress got an attitude when we could not pronounce their made up names for their dishes. She came out with the bill while I was still eating. We had a coupon for a free calzone and the waitress only gave us half off on it. We just paid it and left. We finally tried Farrelli's at the Hawk's Prairie location, and it was...okay. Just...very okay. Our server was friendly and prompt, but we didn't get the "how's everything" check in after the food came. We ordered the Northwest Traditional, which sounded soooo good, but which was just kind of okay compared to its description. My biggest problem was the lack of basil as mentioned in the description. There were a few crispy bits, but not much. I asked for some additional basil, which I was given, but the server explained that when basil is cooked, it dissolves, and that's why there wasn't much on the pizza. I've cooked a lot of basil and eaten even more at restaurants, and I've never, ever had basil "dissolve." So there's that. For the price, there are much better pizza spots in the South Sound. read more

The inconsistency in food really needs to change one day we go in there and you get a decent size side salad and the next day you have more cheese than you do greens I've gone to Tumwater and the Yelm location and I purchased the power play pizza both have been excellent. We ordered the power-play last week and it was delicious yesterday we went there and there was hardly any toppings on the pizza. My second time to this location. The layout is a little different. We were quickly greeted and seated. Some of the employees are pretty young and new to the workforce. Our service was decent. The prices have gone up at Farrelli's...a personal pizza will run you $17-19, medium $22-28, large $30-38. I don't know if it was because I read through the comments while I was waiting for our food, but the crust of the pizza did seem to have a different taste. The wood fired taste seemed to be lacking, if I had to try to describe what was missing for me. I am curious to know if they make their own crust daily and if it has changed or not. For the prices that are being charged it should be nothing but too notch toppings and ingredients. We enjoyed our meal, but I wouldn't say that we considering this our favorite location. I'm a first time customer and I was not disappointed in the food, but there were a few hiccups. But they were corrected. I ordered a medium pepperoni and cashew, and a medium pepperoni and an order of BBQ wings. All to go. When I got home there was no pizza sauce (or any type of sauce) on the medium pepperoni, just pepperoni and cheese. I called and let them know. The manager was very nice and said she would refund my money for the pizza and I could pick up a new one. So I did. She was very nice and handled the situation very satisfying. The pizza was very good and cooked perfectly . I was a little worried about being skimpy on the topping but they made my threshold for toppings. The wings were very good, some of the best wings I've had at a pizza place. But they did forget my blue cheese which was disappointing. The service was good and friendly. Spending the night at the north end of Lacey, as dinner time approached, I found myself with a hankering for pizza. Accessing my trusty Yelp app, I found that there was a a Farrelli's less than half a mile from my hotel. I had heard good things about their pizzas, so decided to give them a try. I am quite glad that I did. My server, Olivia, was extremely friendly and helpful. Her service was perfect, always appearing when I needed something, but not being overly attentive. She definitely added to the enjoyment of my experience here. The pizza lived up to its reputation. They have three sizes of pizza: a personal (9 inch), a 12 inch, and a 16 inch. I had the Double Whammy, which apparently is a new addition to the menu. Two kinds of meat, at least two cheeses, finished with fresh basil -- it was great! Their pizzas are wood-fired, so you get just a little bit of char on the crust, which has a nice, medium thinness and is delicious. The toppings were delish too. And at my request, they even substituted the honey drizzle with a pesto drizzle, which added a truly outstanding extra note of flavor. Bonus: they serve you a soft drink if you order one, and refills are free. To wrap this up, hi, really enjoyed my pizza dinner here. In fact, I even asked to speak to the manager, Amanda, to tell her what a great job she and her staff were doing. This is not something I do every meal, by a longshot. I live in the Portland area, but do come through Olympia occasionally, and I look forward to coming to Farrelli's again. read more

This would be 5 stars only the order we had delivered was incorrect. Our order was missing an item. When we called to ask about it. We were told the manager will call us. When he did call the next day they refunded the part of the missing item. I've worked in restaurants and when we messed up on an order the entire amount of order was refunded. We won't be back. We were so excited when they opened this Farrelli's in our neighborhood. The first 6 months were great but they are now very inconsistent. Our pizza tonight was horrible. They have changed their crust to something that tastes like Dominoes! It was so thick and chewy. It's usually thin, tasty and crispy. My wife called back to ask if they changed their crust. The guy that answered said "we just got a new shipment of crust and it's thicker than normal. And if you have a problem you should talk to our manager Amanda" We would have thought that he would have his manager call us.
