Man I'm kind of disappointed me being from NY I wanted to try this place out because not all pizza is good NY pizza especially away from home. I ordered the Times Square and it looked amazing but when I got it delivered it was burnt, and all around looked like this one was rushed. Then I got cinnamon sticks and cheese bread and they came in the same box. So my cheese bread smelled and tasted like cinnamon bread. I'm not giving up on y'all tho I'll be back. read more

THE SHORT OF IT: We got shorted. Big ads, barely edible pizza. ZERO stars. It was too salty, extremely basic--all toppings were only hints. They had made it fairly quickly. No customer traffic. Looked decently clean, & noticeably empty in the back--low stock of materials? THE LONG OF IT: We needed quick pizza, so stopped by Vinny's in the shopping area at Marvin & Martin, in Lacey, near Groc.Outlet. We'd had their pizza before, & it was ..ok..--nothing exciting, only decent-ish. This time though, it gave off subtle hints of going out of business... --ALL toppings, including tomato sauce & cheese, were barely present on the pizza. --Meat, pineapple, cheese, were all were diced into ..tiny bits.. & vanishing-sparsely scattered on top. Very Token bits. --THAT was despite having ordered extra on the toppings!!?! --They pushed buying drinks from cooler, kind of aggressively--3 times before I got out the door--the person pretended not to hear me saying "no thanks" each time. He kinda moved almost like he was gonna jump over the counter to grab drinks from cooler to shove at us, just as I walked out. After asking the nearly non-verbal counter person if they'd put on the extras I'd prepaid...he said, "oh yes." & the guy in the back also looked & said, "yes, you got extras." I said, "Geez, if I only ordered the regular amounts, there'd just be a bare hint of those things--do you only spritz-on the Essence of Toppings on regular versions!?" The person said, "I can put more, but you gotta pay for more." But he sure got lively & verbal, trying to push buying beverages from the coolers!? Bad Pizza, worse, on a coupon price. The coupon came in the ad packets in the mail....MAYBE that was why the toppings were so scant. Repellant. Any business spending to put color glossy pictures on substantial card stock, & mail those out even monthly? Seems to be fizzling--that outlet, at the very least, is ruining Vinny's business. Everything about this misadventure, pretty much reeked of an outlet or a brand going out of business. It's what we call a fake pizza--it's made of very manufactured ingredients. Toppings are barely recognizable as what staff say they are, if you can find a particle; not enuf to really taste; none can tell what's really on them. Maybe HQ might have told staff to reduce toppings, & push beverages--there's a bit more profit off those, maybe? If there was "zero stars", this Vinny's outlet would get that. read more

FYI- Vinny's Pizza the calzone cheese is a cross between American and Swiss cheese it's not mozzarella at all it's melted American white cheese taste gross. Real East coast calzones have mozzarella and ricotta. The stuffed crust pizza has real mozzarella cheese it's good but too salty. read more

I don't understand these low star reviews at all. We tried Vinny's for the first time today and this is going to be our new GoTo pizza place! The pizza was delicious, garlic stuffed crust was amazing, and the price was unbelievable. Living in DuPont, we have 2 options for pizza; overpriced and meh or chain place and also meh. I'm happy to have found this place and don't mind the drive to Lacey to get it. We eat pizza every Friday night so we will definitely be back. read more

Had a great experience with NY Vinnies. The crust and toppings were fresh and delish. The staff were very friendly as well.

I'd like to start with the service, fantastic! Usually when I come in I don't really know what I want and the gentleman at the register is very helpful and patient understanding what I'm looking for in a pizza. The pizza is really good and only takes about 15 mins to be cooked and handed out. The place is also very clean compared to over places in that plaza. Pizza tasted mid. Nothing special to it, definetely not New York style (Crust was very thick). Ordered takeout, and they didn't provide any plates or napkins (even when asked). I'm giving it 4 stars though because their GF crust is the BEST i've had. I ordered one NYC Pepperoni Pizza (14" serves 4 if not too hungry) and their 14" GF Pepperoni Pizza. GF crust is worth adding the garlic butter for a nice crisp, and cannot even tell it is GF. Been getting GF at many places now, and this has been one of the best ones after years of being underwhelmed. If you're going for just an average pizza, not a bad stop. But not the best. New York Vinny's Pizza is nothing short of delicious! I have two little boys that whenever asked what they want to eat the answer is always pizza. We were in Lacey coming back from a hiking trip and we stopped here for pizza. The pizza is extremely affordable, delicious, and crowd pleasing. We ordered both an regular cheese and cheese and pepperoni. Both were a hit! The crust on the pepperoni seems to be a bit thinner. We love thin pizza so that was nice as well. Whenever we are in the Lacey area now I fully expect my kids to ask to go back to New York Vinny's! read more

They wanted a tip before they made my pizza. No big deal as I am a generous tipper. I ordered a 18 inch half Hawaiian and half pepperoni. I expected to pay the price of the Hawaiian as it was the most expensive. Completely fair. However they charged me an extra $3.00 for splitting the order. I have never had this happen at any other pizza place. This is a typical order that my wife and I split when purchasing pizza. I may not have complained but the pizza was not that good and it was cold when we sat down to eat it. We eat here every Saturday and 9 times out of 10 the pizza is solid and the people are super warm and friendly. Every once in a while we get a pizza that isn't quite cooked or cut but it happens so rarely it almost isn't worth mentioning. Most importantly a number of years ago, when I was homeless at the end of the night when they closed up they would set out their unpicked up pizzas on a crate out back, for us to take. That has stuck with me, rather then throw them away they chose to help the community. Because of that they will have a customer for life. read more

The little place was really clean and felt comfortable with a small waiting area and really nice employees. HOWEVER, let's talk food! This is NOT a New York style pizza. I was very surprised to walk in and not be able to order by the slice, that should of been my first warning sign. The pizza reminded me a lot of undercooked little Caesar's, with slightly better sauce. The chicken was super fatty but I suppose there's nothing they can do about that? Idk. What is there really to say about a cheap pizza place . It is convenient and just right there across the parking lot where i do alot if my food shopping. This was a good value when their large cheese pizza was a little over 7 bucks and the vegetarian was about 15 bucks but I'm never going to them again with their doubled prices, they're just not worth it, especially with so many tasty supermarket alternatives at a third of the cost. Haven't been here in months because of a couple bad pizzas but decided to try it again and of course upon entering the facility, I was welcomed with a hard smack on my shin entering through the door!! Did not see that the ONLY door handle was broken and grabbed it to open the door and was unexpectedly hit in the shin by the end of it. After making some smart butt comments to my fiance, I watched 2 more individuals proceed to get hit in the shin, and one in the groin, by this broken door handle. Which prompted me to decide to leave a review.. again, not at all impressed with this facility and I'm sure the bruise on my shin agrees. I am so sad to write this review. I used to get pizza here all the time, the pizza was great, and the price was amazing. I got a ton of friends to get pizza there as well. A few years ago I got a Costco membership and didn't go to this store as often, and then I have not gone for about a year. In that time, I guess it changed ownership, and not only is the pizza and toppings not nearly as good, they got rid of all the deals and basically doubled the price. A double pep is $16 now instead of $8 for instance. I honestly don't understand why anyone even eats there anymore. I don't actually order from domino's pizza, but I have had some others have ordered before, and even that is better, for a much lower price (even including delivery!!). This is a real travesty because of how amazing the store used to be. I don't know when it changed so much, but it's a night and day type of change, going from being one of my favorite places in the area (up there with Old School Pizza in downtown and Salamone's in Tacoma), to worse than chain pizza places (which I usually don't bother with). If I could rate this métier a zero stars, I would. I walked in expecting fresh New York style pizza, only to discover that the owners are not in fact from New York. I am deeply disappointed at the lack of authenticity, and the food which was not New York style at all. I then asked for the manager, to which the cashier called, and he would not pick up the call. The only good thing I have to say about this establishment was this one Chamorro looking guy, he remade my whole order and apologized for the managers poor behavior. read more
