I wish I could give them 20 stars just for the service alone and let me tell you we had a huge table full of people I think there was 13 of us just as they opened for the day. I didn't catch the servers name but she was extremely nice , very polite , helpful and she had drinks constantly filled kept a perfect check on everyone and honestly I hope her manager sees this I'm including a photo of her. The food was amazing I'm including photos of done if the plates I could get to easily but ALL the food looked and smelled delicious. The restaurant was spotless, the ladies restroom was very clean. The food is good, but like everything else it is ridiculously priced. A small bowl of soup was $7.25, and I had to add $1 to get 1 roll! On top of that they add a "kit chen gratuity" which was only .83, but I don't like that it was automatically deducted. The prices are higher than the one in Lacey. Not sure I'll be back. read more

It was time for an updated review and Casa Mia didn't disappoint.. They have the BEST pizza's in town! The spicy chicken caesar is still my fav but they have a few delish salads on the menu. Their pizza selection is great, perfect pizza it isn't disgustingly dripping in grease like most places so you can actually enjoy it more. They have really good pastas as well, highly recommend the Chicken Alfredo. I didn't particularly care for their minestrone soup it really lacked flavor. The Bruschetta garlic bread is chef's kiss. I haven't tried any of the sandwiches but they offer a few different ones. The restaurant hasn't changed much over the years, it's still clean, still comfortable, and the service is still good. They are a bit more on the pricey side but in my opinion the food quality is worth it, at least for the salads & pizza's in my opinion. read more

We came here one night on a whim because no one wanted to make dinner. We walked in around 6 on a weeknight and were sat right away. We ordered the artichoke dip as an appetizer, which was actually really good. I had the spinach ravioli with pesto cream sauce and my wife had the pesto chicken ravioli. We loved both dishes, the only thing I would say here is my dish was extremely heavy on sauce. I mean I LOVE sauce, but there was a lot. Our daughter ordered buttered noodles with a side of meatballs. She said the meatballs were amazing! Updating 5 star review from 2 years ago Quality of food has become spotty and inconsistent. Pizza is still great sometimes, sometimes just average. It's a pretty high price to get average pizza. My main issue is the arugula salad I used just rave over. Sometimes it has dressing, sometimes it doesn't. Lately it doesn't. When dressing is requested it is a ridiculously scant amount. It is supposed to come dressed in olive oil and have lemons for the acid kick. I never get lemons any more. This latest salad is the worst yet. A tiny splash of olive oil on the arugula, no lemon, and covered in deli meat ham. Called to complain and got the runaround. Ultimately was begrudgingly offered a store credit on the salad. We'll get that salad and go elsewhere for now. And yes, I fully understand staffing and supply chain issues, but I can walk into 3 grocery stores in town and buy prosciutto and lemons. If you can't provide the item listed, at least let the repeat patron know, so they can make the decision not to purchase. read more

Found ourselves in Yelm for the night; it's Thursday and it's 8:30pm. The hotel receptionist suggested Casa Mia, "chicken parmigiana to die for", she said. It's literally walking distance, as is just about everything in Yelm. We ordered a side salad, an antipasti salad and we split the chicken parmigiana! It was all quite delicious and we had more than enough food. Dinner came with rolls. I don't know how a single person could eat the whole thing? Two beers at $4 and a glass of wine for $7, this place is a great value. Our waitress was delightful too! The pizza was too greasy. So greasy in fact, it was dripping out the slices. And it turned cold right out the box. The pasta I had another issue with. There was too much sauce and cheese rather than real noodles and they tasted slightly undercooked and similar to boxed noodles at walmart. My last issue is with the salad. The salad had too much dressing and bacon and just looked completely unappetizing even looking like puke. I just did not eat it it was gross. at least the food edible. so if you are looking for a last resort, go to casa mia. but if you are looking for good food, go to pizzeria la gitana. better in so many ways, while casa mia compares to that of poor quality fast food. or to be better simplified, discount pizzeria la gitana. read more

Decided to try this place out for the first time today. I love a good pasta dish, but I like to try any "Italian restaurant's " Spaghetti. As I walked towards the front door an employee held the door open for me and I kindly said thank you as i entered the establishment. I saw the sign that clearly states "PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED" as so, I stood and waited. Someone was to my right behind a fridge full of soda chatting with someone who I believe was one of the cooks. Saw two other ladies who looked like they were waitresses, but didn't acknowledge me. After a couple of minutes, the same employee that held the door open for me came back in and asked me if I had been helped yet. I simply replied, "No." She then asked if I was ordering to-go and I said, "No I'm dining in." In that response she told me to take a seat anywhere then. (Don't have a sign that says PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED, then tell a brand new customer to just seat yourself, not cool) So I took a table in the middle away from other patrons and she did ask me what I'd like to drink. I ordered a soda and received the menu, a napkin, a fork, and a knife together. Looking through the menu I saw lots of options, and saw a sign that said $8.99 all you can eat spaghetti. That looked intriguing so I asked about it when a different waitress walked up to me. She said that it's spaghetti noodles with the choice of meat sauce, pesto, white butter sauce, or puttanesca (a vegetarian option). So I chose for the meat sauce, because who can screw up a meat sauce? It was presented quite quickly, with a basket of freshly baked bread and small individually wrapped butter (I like a side of butter, but maybe not wrapped and throw some herbs as garnish... Anyways), the spaghetti was in a huge bowl with the meat sauce ladled on top with a shaving of parmesan on and around the edge of the bowl as well. It was hot, I expected a well cooked bowl full of flavor and to wow me. Alas, no. I wish the pasta was cooked more... The sauce well, it was okay, but do you know the taste of meat in sauce that has been over cooked then added to sauce, but still has that grainy texture? This is what I felt it tasted like. I hate to complain, but my taste buds were so disappointed today. I don't know, I might go back to try other food, but this made me quite sad, and to top it off there was a mishap with my soda. Always ask your customers what they're drinking if you weren't the one who served them, she quickly fixed it and yes I had to pay for that soda mishap too. We'll see about a next time... 3 stars for the first employee for opened the door for me and for the lady who quickly fixed my drink. As for the food, the bread had the win tonight. read more

I would give this place a 3.5 if I could. The food was good but it made me and my fiancé sick later that night. This place was almost empty and it took forever to get served. They send out your soda in a small glass then with an additional glass with more soda for you to refill your glass yourself. So because they don't have to keep track of your drinks you don't see your waitress often. My fiancé ordered another beer that never came, BUT the lady noticed this and asked if we wanted the beer or a desert for free for our troubles. So that made up for it. The staff were friendly. There is no place to change your infant in the bathroom so I hope you bring a changing pad, which I do so no big deal I guess. It's decorated nice inside. Got a pizza and another dish- did a call in for a pick up- they said 15 mins. Left after the phone call do I would be there as soon as it was done. All went well got home put pizza on table and it looked old and dried up. We hadn't been there in about a year because the other times- items were missing or soup was broth only. We helped out numerous times during Covid so yes we tried to help our community. There are no more tries if they don't heed to the reviews and change we have no intention of giving our support- too bad they have so many patrons they can afford to not care. Hostess AND a new manager went over the order with me item by item on the receipt and assured me it was all there. Went home, and it was not all there. I had guests over, and a calzone meal was missing. I called and told them what an inconvenience this was, as we would have to drive both ways to pick up one meal again, and the new manager asked me "what I wanted" in an irritated tone. She offered a couple desserts for the trouble. There were 5 meals paid for, so I told her that. My husband drove to Casa Mia for the forgotten Calzone meal, and the desserts were not ready or packed up for him. Manager told him he'd have to wait AGAIN. This place is great. We stopped by on our way to the movie and enjoyed their $5 Anniversary menu. The pizza was excellent. Their little pieces of pepperoni were some of the best I've had. I had a great experience with this place! I got a Doordash gift card from my employer and decided to try this place out with it. I ordered an entrée, salad, and dessert. My $25 gift card covered almost all of it. The pasta was so good; great sauce, al dente pasta. Salad was great, nice fresh ingredients. And the dessert, well....I got the Classic Cheesecake with Mango Puree and it was beautifully delicious! Since it was a delivery order, the packaging was important and it was done perfectly. Casa Mia is one of my favorite restaurants in Yelm. To start with, they make the best Caesar salad ever. I crave this salad on a regular basis. Their calzones are gigantic and absolute stuffed full of deliciousness. I also really love their cheese pizza because it tastes clean without all of the distractions of toppings. The sauces on the pizza is very fresh tasting. That is not to say that their other pizzas are not good - because they are! Everything I have eaten at Casa Miss has been spot on delicious.
