Would not recommend this location. Very disappointed with every visit to this location. Had multiple appointments scheduled just to be led on. Very disrespectful staff and manager. Refused to give any names or any correct titles on positions while I was in the service department until my father got on the phone with the "general manager." I got ahold of Scott and was told the problem would be took care of. Service manager Joe Metcalf stated that Scott had no authority over him. And I was then refused service and told to leave property. Also, our second appointment was scheduled at 1 p.m. and they argued the appointment was at a different time and that we were late to it, even though they canceled it due to their technician being sick. The service department is incompetent I called last week about making appointment to have some work done on my car after I made the appointment I jokingly asked if the part was in stock the guy told me no and transferred me to the parts department. When speaking to the parts Department the guy he informed me that I would have to come down and pay for the part before it could be ordered I asked why because I've never had to do this at a dealership before and he explained to me that this was their new procedure I do not agree with this but I understand the problem with the whole situation is if I would not have asked if the part was there I would have took my car and it would've been there all day without being repaired this is happened to me before why do they make appointments knowing that the parts are not there. ZERO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE We purchased a 2019 Jeep Renegade on July 13, 2019. On July 21 I noticed an indentation on the sidewall of the rear tire. Upon further inspection we discovered it was on all 4 tires. I called Farris Jeep on Tuesday 7/23/19 and spoke with Jason in service who asked me to bring it over after work. Once they saw the tires we were told "that's just the way they are made" but they would have someone call me the next day because I wasn't happy with their answer. Rick called me today (7/24/19) and told me it wasn't their problem because they didn't warranty the tires and that I would have to take the car to a tire dealer to have them check it out. I shouldn't have to take my BRAND NEW car all over Morristown to get things repaired. That should fall on the dealership as it should've been right when I bought it less than 2 weeks ago!! Rick also told me that the tires had the indentions because of being strapped for transportation. This make TWO stories from 2 different people about the tires. I asked Rick to speak to someone above him and he said that would the Mr Farris himself and he would just tell me that he would revert the decision back to Rick so he refused to allow me to speak to him at all. Jason Farris brags about being the "dealer for the People" but only until the purchase is complete. They have zero service after the sale! I would NEVER recommend buying a car from them and I'll never make the mistake again! Also upon talking to another Jeep dealer I've discovered they sold me a 4x2 for what I could've purchased a 4x4 from them! Definitely do your research before buying from Farris!! read more

Worst auto buying experience I have ever had. I purchased a used '07Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited w/59,000 miles. Although I did not elect to purchase the warranty for an additional $50 @ month (for 60 mo.) added to my monthly payment for 40,000 mi coverage, I was sorry I didn't. The vehicle broke down on the 8th day after my purchase. The quoted price to repair the front differential was $3,600. The dealer loan me a rental for 2 days until the vehicle was disassemble in their shop. The assy. was reassembled at an "out of pocket" cost of $1200. This repair lasted 1200 miles with no warranty implied. A salvage unit was then elected to replace the failed unit w/ warranty by a non-dealer. Then the diesel engine, which the salesman informed me should last 500,000 mile begin having issues. The engine was repaired utilizing all new Jeep parts by a non-dealer. This repair lasted 4000 miles. In other words I was out $6000 in less than 3 months plus the expense of a rental car while the Jeep set in various shops for numerous weeks. My recommendation would be to purchase all the warranty you can if buying a used Jeep, especially from Royston CDJR located in Morristown, TN. The dealer does not support their sales. My other recommendation would be to trade-in/purchase a reliable brand as I did. I was fortunate to trade this Jeep (Junk) for a trouble-free Toyota product. I will never purchase or recommend Royston in the future. read more

I purchased a grand Cherokee in 2016. I was verbally told that I would receive floor mats, owners manual and recheck on the brakes while signing papers to own this jeep. It took 2 trips to receive floor mats and 3 trips and a verbal altercation to get brakes fixed. never have seen an owners manual.. the warranty was good for 100,000 miles or 5 years. now I have noticed corrosion above the windshield and the paint s beginning to flake. my jeep has 77,000 miles and the warranty was out approx. 50 days over the time but was good due to mileage. I have made 3 trips to farris, and made 3 calls to cooperate. I have taken the jeep to their body shop for an estimate and was told it was corrosion, which is covered. now the funny part, they refuse to fix the damage!!! their reason, I am not a "loyal costumer" I didn't have my oil changes at the dealership!! that's right, you can spend almost 30,000 on a jeep and your not loyal!! what a joke! I did not now the oil they have at the dealership could improve the paint on you jeep!! I will NEVER be guilty of doing business with this place EVER AGAIN!!! I was lied to from start to finish!! everyone is really nice and seem honest until you sign the papers. then your just not "loyal". well, neither are they.... nothing but lies and deception. be warned, go elsewhere to find a vehicle. read more

One year ago we bought the biggest piece of junk vehicle we have ever owned!!!! We were cheated & robbed because we overpayed for this vehicle (our fault) that has done nothing but fall apart and break down since the day we bought it! They never fixed the problem they agreed to during negotiations, even after I drove it to them in Rogersville 3 times (on my own time & gas).
