Update March 2024 Cecil and Dylan are the guys we have gone to for over 3 years now. My sister and her kids moved here and also go to Thomas Auto. We have become loyal customers to an honest and reputable team of mechanics at Thomas Auto. I honestly couldn't ask for better. They are the BEST. I truly appreciate them especially having little ones to haul around on road trips. Nothing makes a parent feel safer than having a roadworthy vehicle and they always make sure we are. My Nissan Titan was totaled and I bought a 2022 Subaru Ascent. I went in and spoke to Dylan and asked would they be able to service it or should I take it to the dealership. He said they would be able to service it and said if it's something they cannot then they can make recommendations like the dealership. They service our 2019 RAM 2500, my sisters 2018 Toyota 4Runner, my nephews old Mazda truck and my nieces Hyundai Sonata. We love Thomas Auto. Thank you guys for being a great team! We have lived here for one year now and they continue to be honest and reliable. We get our oil changes done here on our Nissan Titan and our Ram 2500. Every time I take a road trip, which is often, I have them do an inspection to make sure I'm road worthy. Once again, today, I received outstanding service. Charged my fiancé 120$ for a fuse. This place is a joke. They WILL up charge you if you are a women. My husband's 10-year-old Pathfinder literally blew several hoses after towing a load of lumber from Georgia to rebuild a porch on our Pigeon Forge cabin. We called Cecil at Thomas Auto Service Repair and were very impressed with the level of service. While all local Nissan dealers were telling us it would be over a week before they could get it in their shops, Thomas Auto Service took it off the rollback mid-day on Monday and completed the repair by the end of day on Tuesday. We are so thankful with the prompt service and the ability to get back to Georgia as planned. Pricing was quite fair. If we could give no stars, we would. Took our '06 Tacoma in to get leak fixed. They replaced the part wth an old part, charged us for new part ( part and labor $450)! Took truck on a road trip, just to find out, it still has the leak! Had to take in to another mechanic out of state, they informed and showed us old part installed by this company. Wow. How refreshing! A company in business based on good old fashioned principles of helping folks. We were in town and noticed a 'whirring sound' on our Ford Transit Connect. Dylan helped us and managed to get to us on the same day. He was relentless trying to figure out the issue. Unfortunately it would not replicate on the lift and would only happen 'under stress' while driving with weight (our two Great Danes) in the back. Finally, after not being able to figure it out (he even drove it & heard the noise to see if he could diagnose it audibly) he called us to tell us that he didn't want to preform a bunch of work on the van that may not even solve the issue. He suggested taking it to the actual dealership as they may be familiar with that particular issue. He apologized for not being able to reproduce it when it wasn't actually driving. It is a rare day when you find an auto repair company nowadays that is interested in helping you and not just willing to replace items that aren't needed. We truly appreciate their honesty. They did a fantastic job and were very fast and fair on the price. I truly appreciate honest people that do work and don't try to rob someone from out of town. Before hitting the road back to Indiana our van was making a whirring sound. We pulled in here based on reviews and we didn't know what else was around. Of course our van STOPPED making the noise when we pulled in to the lot. The gentleman that came out to help us was friendly, seemed honest, and was helpful. He didn't want us getting on the road if we had a problem. He checked the belts and talked with my husband (I was dealing with kids). We ended up not using their services because he couldn't find anything wrong, but glad he didn't just try to sell us something. If we ever have an auto issue while in the Pigeon Forge area we will return. Very friendly, local folk. read more

I was on a mini-vacation and my car would not start. A AAA towing company towed my car to the facility. Had my car checked out and found out that because I used my general duplicate key, not the key with the security information, that was probably why my car wouldn't start. I had misplaced my original keys a couple days before when the car wouldn't start, but found them when the towing company came and the car started right up. Thomas Auto checked it out and found a security issue was the problem, as now I had my original set of keys. I need to replace the batteries. As I need to drive about 600 miles home, I was very concerned. There was no charge. No check out fee. Nada. I was very grateful as I used to work in a dealership many years ago and know there is usually some sort of check out fee. I thought it was the fuel pump and I was expecting to pay $200 for the part. I was out in 2 hours. I would highly recommend Thomas Auto Center and Transmissions. read more

We were an hour north of Sevierville at a TA Travel Center when our car wouldn't start after we filled it. AAA had us towed to Thomas Auto Service which was the only authorized repair shop near our destination. This was Sat. PM so bright & early on Monday we called and were told they would look at it that afternoon. On Tuesday we were able to pick it up. It was running and had started every time for them so they were not able to find a problem. They tried throughout the day to see if the problem would reappear but it didn't. They suggested it could be the water pump getting temperamental but they didn't charge us a thing since they found nothing to fix. Considering they got right on it, spent time investigating the situation and presented no bill I would have to say this is exceptional, honest business. We got back to MD without any further difficulty so we have no idea what happened, but most places would have charged for at least an hour's work to check out the car. Thank you, Thomas! read more

Talked with manager and it was lie oh well bring it back and we will put it on computer again but you will have to pay again..li don't think so though m..never take there again..so called garage read more
