love this place. Very friendly as soon as you walk in the front door. I was welcomed with a hello and pointed in the right direction. Anyways I was very embarrassed as a man asking the question what would be the best toy for my wife and I to share. I can't remember the guys name but he was an employee of Fascinations and he explained to me the best selling and most popular toys on the market. He also explained which toy he got the best feed back on. He helped me make up my mind and feel good about the questions I was asking.. I am no longer scared to enter in there with any questions I have about there products they sell. There is no shame feeling in this place what so ever. Purchased a toy and it did not work from day one. I understand they cannot accept returns of these items for health and safety reasons. My issues are the manufacturer (VeDO) will not send me an RMA number to return the products, I still have to pay for shipping it back even though the product is defective, and the manager Christine Sterling, has not been helpful in resolving this matter. I spoke with her several days ago and I have not received any follow-up. If you read through other reviews you will read similar situations with poor quality, cheap merchandise and bad customer service. Stay away! I have changed review from 1 star to 3: Management (Christine) was finally able to get the manufacturer to send me a new product, and I do not even have to return the defective one. I am happy about that because why should I pay return shipping for a defective product anyway? The company has redeemed themselves somewhat. I have purchased other electronics there in the past but, many of them do break fairly quickly. It is cheap stuff unless you spend more than $80 for your toy. If you buy anything there keep your receipt. read more

My husband and I enjoy shopping here. It's a comfortable atmosphere and doesn't feel dirty or seedy like many adult shops. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful if you have questions, but they don't hover over you and make you feel awkward. We appreciate the military discount and rewards program. My only complaint is that I wish they would get new toy merchandise and new brands a bit more often. I would say that probably the last three times we've gone in, we haven't purchased anything despite having a store credit because we already have own the stuff that we would consider purchasing. read more

I don't actually frequent adult stores, but we've had 4 weddings last year and I've visited for novelty items quite a bit recently. Professional couples, regular shoppers, younger and older alike can all feel comfortable wandering around for their toys, clothing, games, and fun items here. I agree that the pricing for toys is expensive, but clothing is reasonable and the sales rack is outstanding for value. The sizes are for real people, and go into 3x and 4x for those with more love to offer. The shoes are sized for everyone too, and that is a huge benefit for real people to feel welcome, and not just 20 somethings or Ken and Barbie. Everyone can find things that make them feel excited, involved, and playful. The staff are friendly, kind, and respectful of the customers and their experience. They help educate, encourage, and inspire in a professional way that is refreshing. No one looks like a creepy or dirty old man selling xrated magazines behind a counter. The staff are out of their seats, merchandising, answering questions, welcoming guests and running a business. That's how it SHOULD be. I recommend Fascinations for anyone looking for sexy-time fun in a clean and safe environment. read more

It is so frustrating walking in and seeing the floor filled with staff, a line at the register and a single employee struggling checking someone out... yesterday I spent my hour lunch here after walking in for literally two items. This place is ok. Good days, and bad days there. I have to admit in the past 3 weeks I have been through there about 5 times looking for various parts to a costume. ANNOYING! The help has been absolutely MINIMAL. Apparently the "manager" of the store was far too busy helping a group of 4 fraternity guys when I came in (their purchase was minimal, 1 "girl" costume, consisting of a pair of queen size underwear and perhaps a bra). I have shopped to spend hundreds in the past. I was surprised by the LACK of help I received this time around, & will think twice for sure about shopping here again... My first choice will be straight from the manufacturer, or even a competitor shop.... I bought a cat of nine tails 3 days ago, and the handle (real leather, yes) has already broken. . was only used as a prop for about 3 hours, I can't imagine if I had used it for the purpose it was meant. hmmmm? I visited Fascinations on Elliot Rd with my wife on December 16th shopping for a Secret Santa gift. We read the 18+ cling on the window upon entering the store--knowing its purpose. I carried my 13 month old son in one arm, and was quickly halted by Customer Service--communicated he was not allowed in the store. I was embarrassed about the initial public announcement from the checkout counter, plus the extra measures of radioing management for policy confirmation. We side-stepped to the right clearing the walkway, and awkwardly stood in front of the laser doorbell greeting not knowing how to stop its chime. We were left feeling discriminated against with management's response via Customer Service of only infants in carrier's allowed, and became frustrated in ourselves for even entertaining shopping for a friend's gift with a young child. I wrote feedback to Fascinations via their online submission as well as emailed them the same evening asking them to kindly look into the case, and have had no response after 11 days. I was not asking for significant recourse, but was just hoping for acknowledgment and the feeling of being heard. I am escalating to the public and am requesting shoppers to people to find an alternative place to buy out of principle. read more

When I first found this place I wasn't sure what it was. Boy I was blown away! I've been to toy stores before and ordered stuff online. This place is adult heaven and nothing is left out or left to the imagination. The staff is wonderful and wants you to play and touch everything in the store. If you have questions or not sure how to use something they will show you. They even offer to take the toys out of the packages at the register to make sure they work. It's very weird for someone like me that came from a small town and see all this. They make you feel like you just walked into your aunts house and she's letting you know it's ok to raid the fridge. read more

Poor poor experience. The customer service is terrible. I was ID'd at the door which I have never been IDd before. Showed the young lady my ID on my phone. She said that was fine. Walked in and began to shop. A rude lady approached me named Ley staying I need to leave and randomly kicked me out. I asked about this new policy and explained to her I'm well over 18 (as she can tell) and that I've NEVER been told this before. I also made it clear I wasn't buying sex toys just lingerie. She caused a scene and I politely asked her for the number to corporate she refused to until I was out the door. She then got the # and keep in mind she wrote down the number to the location she works at. The rude lady that answered the phone when I called their "corporate" office said their manager isn't available and sent me to a voicemail. Never heard back. One, make your rules visible and two notify customers of changes. I've shopped a few times here and never had this issue. Never coming back and definitely will be telling everyone I know not to. AWFUL LOCATION!!! So, I did a late night run to fascinations to buy some in case the order didn't make it in time. I walked in and led myself to the hosiery section. I wanted to do some personal browsing as well. As I was looking around an employee was literally following me. I was getting extremely annoyed so I nixed personal shopping and proceeded to check out. I laid my merchandise on the counter and waiting for a few minutes as the cashier asked me to "hold on one sec" BECAUSE SHE WAS FINISHING A TEXT!! This is a joke right? Excuse me for bothering you at work. I walked out without purchasing anything and took myself to Lingerie superstore where I had an easy ans pleasant shopping experience. read more

I do love fascinations. All though its not as big as Hustler stores it is a big for one story. All there locations are great. The one on Elliot has been the biggest I've been to so far. I also like the one on Shea. They always have coupons and great deals and everyone is always friendly. They always have these great classes and you don't have to be a sex addict to go to one they are just good to go to learn new things if they ever occur to you in your life. I always find them useful and fun. Plus the first 20 that go to the class get a free gift card. Very fun place. read more
