I love this Fashion Cleaners! From my first stop in, Lexi was super welcoming, explaining things about the process, here, and asking me a few questions about my garment to make sure it got the care it needs. Since that first stop in, the other employee I've met has been super friendly, too, and all my clothing has come back just as I expect it to: clean, sharply pressed, and reliably quick. I was impressed they got the coffee stains out of my husband's suit! Really--hats off!! Even my pleated dress came back as lovely as it left me. I'm also grateful for the after-hours dropoff--no more frantic rushing to get the dry cleaning dropped off on time. These things alone would keep me coming back, but the wonderful, little candy dish they have out is another good thing I look forward to when I come here. I dropped my suit (woman's) off on a Thursday, I think, and they asked if "next Tuesday" would be all right for pick up. I wasn't in a rush so I said yes, although it seemed like a slow turnaround. But that's not the worst of it--It was around $34.00, which is completely insane! Go here if you have plenty of money, because these prices are over twice the competitors. I appreciate that they are trying to be environmental. I don't have the data to check the processes/chemicals of both places, or the costs of their materials. My Mother took her comforter there to be laundered. When she went to pick it up, they had dry cleaned it and charged her $59.00. When she let them know it was to have been washed and not dry cleaned and she should be charged the lower rate, she was told, " It doesn't matter if it's dry cleaned or washed in the machine, they are both $59.00." Next time we'll just wash it in the Elkhorn River. read more

Dropped off a few dress shirts for laundering (not dry-cleaning). Dry cleaning is more expensive and unnecessary for my shirts. They confirmed they would launder them but when I went to pick them up, they charged for dry-cleaning for a few of the shirts. Regardless, both the laundering and the dry-cleaning were super over-priced. read more

I took a simple sleeveless shell to be dry cleaned and they charged me $18. When I spoke to them, they explained it was platinum service (even though I didn't ask for it) because of the label that they recognized. It probably came from Marshall's. All the guy could do was tell me what a great dry cleaners they were and the best in Omaha. Glad they're so proud but you need to keep customers and I will never go back. This place rocks! I called late Saturday afternoon in need of pressing services and a button for a men's suit and was told to come by. I was late getting there and when I arrived I learned the steamer had been turned off, but they said they would still try to press my suit. After a brief wait, I was shown a well-pressed suit and told there would be no charge, since the steamer wasn't at full capacity. These girls are the best and the manager was really nice too. read more

I took my favorite pair of pants that I purchased several years ago in New York to them to be cleaned. They were in perfect condition. The pants were returned with a large hole in the fabric on the back of the leg. After a few weeks of conversation they offered me 30% of the price of the pants. This is not acceptable. I do not recommend this cleaner. read more

I took a couple of dresses and a coat there. I picked them up and paid for each piece. When I took my dress out a while later to wear, there was a tag on it saying "sorry, we can't get every spot out". They said nothing about it when they gave it to me and I paid full price for the "cleaning". I'm frustrated at the lack of communication--I expect better for the price I paid. read more

I don't have a bad experience with Fashion Cleaners to share. I used this dry cleaner because I was new to town and it was conveniently located, but the service nor the customer service warrants me continuing to pay these prices. The only reason I continued to take my suits here was because the first time I took in a jacket as part of the welcome to new customers I received a coupon for $10 off an order of $25 or more that I then kept forgetting to use. I won't be returning because a suit skirt runs $9.53 and suit jackets I have recently had cleaned were: $9.19 ($.19. Really? What is that all about?), $14.88 (checking the receipt for clues I gather it was because of beads?!?), $10.38 (because of tweed?!?), $12.48 (because...?!? sweat/makeup on the collar?? a routine freaking thing for a dry cleaner to take care of everywhere else I have taken my clothing in four other cities), and $11.26 (because it was lined and was an intentionally frayed finishes?!?). To be fair to the business, I did not question the staff on this pricing because you know what? I bet they are making minimum wage and already have to deal with lots of obnoxious jerks, while I was initially supporting a neighborhood business and then I was just stuck in a rut and hadn't found a different dry cleaner yet. In summary, I'm breaking up with you Fashion Cleaners. I'm going to miss your convenient location, but I'll just have to find a great local bar, bakery, or restaurant near my new dry cleaner that I can visit every week to give me another reason to drive over there for pick-up and drop-off. They temporarily lost my blazer, it was not ready on time, and I was in a panic because I needed it - and fast! Thus, placing a rush order. I was upset but they made it right! When my blazer wasn't finished on time at 5 pm last Tuesday, the manager came in and made sure that the blazer would be perfect for the next morning at 7 am. It was and I am grateful - despite the fear that I'd need to go out and buy a new blazer due to their error. The manager even included a small gift bag with a little lint roller, hand sanitizer, tissues, and a discount on my next cleaning. It could have been a disaster but they made it right and I think I will be back. Just a tiny note for the customer service: I might not look like I'm a Spanish speaker, but I am. So, don't be speaking to one another in Spanish saying my blazer is lost and was never cleaned while telling me something completely different in English. read more

Yes, it's expensive, but they generally do a good job, which is (sadly) hard to find in a cleaner nowadays. The bad: As mentioned, they're expensive, but you get what you pay for. And they've mangled some buttons but replaced them free of charge without question. QC could be a bit better, as the buttons were very cracked and made it past their inspections/process twice. The good, which far outweighs the bad: Aside from a generally good job with my shirts, pants, and sweaters, they offer free free pickup and delivery at my apartment door--that is a HUGE convenience for me, and worth the higher prices. High quality bags, too, and they take my unneeded hangers when I include them with my outgoing clothing. Bottom line: I recommend them. read more

I would do a 0 star review on this place if I could. I had taken a dress to be cleaned and a dress for a zipper. Instead of calling me and letting me know the price they charged me $87 to have a cheap not quite prom gown cleaned. it cost more to have a clean than it did to purchase the dress. And then when we called to speak to the people about it the lady informed us that if we can't afford to have our clothes dry-cleaned we should not take them to their establishment. terrible customer service. Omaha Lace has been the place to go in Omaha for 'fine dry cleaning.' I used the Leavenworth location to clean my daughter's wedding dress prior to her wedding day. It was expense but worth it. It turned out beautifully, as I had confidence it would. Flash forward to after the wedding and I go back - this time to the Sterling Ridge location for cleaning and preservation. Again, I am spending a significant amount of money. Once it is ready, I pick it up. It is preserved lovely in a box with a report attached detailing the dress and cleaning. Once I get to the car I gave the report to my daughter so she could read it. Luckily we did! Turns out it wasn't for her dress but someone else! I immediately go back in and explain what has happened. The clerk wasn't sure what to do. Ultimately we had to remove the preservation wrapping, etc to see what dress was actually in the box - and it was her dress. I was told someone would call me and get us the actual report for her dress. A month later I finally call the store to ask about the report as I have heard nothing. The person on the phone first said it was mailed. It wasn't. Then she said something about an April and a Shelley and someone in Marketing .....blah blah blah.....as to why I don't have the report. I still don't have the report and was told once some person in marketing printed the pics I would get my report. She could not give me ETA on the delivery of report. This report should have already been done if the dress was cleaned, right? No I am worried the dress isn't even clean but I am fearful to fully remove from the box. Fashion cleaners cares about clothes. The reviews in Omaha when it comes to dry cleaners is terrible. This place is the best, don't listen to the bullshit AI that yelp uses, listen to me. I went to the top 5 dry cleaners and one of them ruined my 2000 dollar canali suit. But these people fixed it in a jiffy and it looks just like new. Would highly recommend this place. The prices are cheap I don't know why people would complain about the prices when they do an amazing job. The team is amazing. All my work was done in 20 minutes. What an excellent place. read more

Just moving to Omaha, I needed a place close by to do some dry cleaning. This place had only 1 bad review so I decided to give it a try. I went in and got quoted on a long sleeve shirt and some slacks for about $12 and the receptionist told me about a 50% off deal if I download an app for my iPhone. I thought $6 for a shirt and slacks was a great deal, so I drop off my stuff and drive off. Soon after I get a call from the receptionist saying my shirt is made of something they cannot clean, but if I pay more about $8 more they can clean it (WTF??). I really need the two cleaned so I give the ok. I arrive on pick up day and the receptionist rings me up for the full amount ($20). I remind her about the 50% off deal and she says I need to show her the iPhone app. I show her the app and she says I needed to have signed up for a service through it to get the 50% off AND if i sign up, I need to wait 24 hours before I can get the deal. I tell her I cannot wait and need it for the following morning. She refuses to give me the deal and asks me what I want to do. I tell her I'll just pay the $20 and that I will never return. I used a Pinpoint here the other day. I needed to have some suits and sport coats done with a same day turn around. No problem, just be sure to bring them in by 9 a.m. I returned at a little after 5 p.m. and retrieved my belongings in a very quick manner. the ladies that were there were very polite and I thought that I would be bring my clothes here a lot. then I got rang up. Whoa!! They should have brought me a chair.Same day service is not an extra fee, but $40+ for 4 items? I was blown away. With my Pinpoint reward it was still over $20 and at that price it seems a little more than fair. I have had other cleaners like Max I Walker do less of a job, but the price was right. I am not sure if I can put this into a "you get what you pay for" category, but maybe I just don't know. It would have been helpful upon dropoff to be given a price quote so that I could have donated plasma or had a garage sale to raise the funds needed. This month's special is 2 ballcaps for the price of one. I have a need for that service, but I couldn't find out how much it is to clean one cap. read more

TL:DR. They're overpriced and lost part of a valuable 60 year old vintage garment that was irreplaceable. Use GI Tailor instead. They're less than half price and they have locations around 72nd street in Omaha and around 84th Street in Papillion. I take them my vintage clothing and they do a great job. ----- II sell vintage clothing. I took in a 60 year old wool dress that needed to be freshened up. Came in when they said they'd have it done, they didn't have it there. The next day they were closed because of a snow storm. The next day I came in, it still wasn't there. The next day I came in and they had it, but it still smelled and they lost the armpit guards that protect the armpits of the garment from discoloration. Back and forth for about a week, they never found them and said they couldn't get ahold of the person who had handled it because she was on vacation. They said they would try and have the tailor put new gaurds in. Then they decided to just give it back without and not charge. i will not use them again. read more

First off, as other reviewers state, they are expensive as all get out. I came to Fashion Cleaners because I had some custom shirts made and the men's wear store gave me a coupon for free cleaning of a new shirt. So, I bring along a few suits and a sweater. The bill for 3 shirts, 3 suits, and a sweater was $98. They also decided to charge me for the shirts. On top of the high prices, they heat seal adhesive bar codes to all clothing, that a customer can not remove. They say it's to keep track of your clothing. Based on other reviews on here, it doesn't seem like it's working. They also say it's better than when other dry cleaners use a pin to put a ticket on the item. That may be true with some items, but when we're talking about woven fabrics, the pinholes go away. A permanent barcode does not. Furthermore, they decided to write my name in PERMANENT INK on the brand new custom shirts. Never mind that they had put the bar codes on them as well, and since they were custom made, the shirts ALREADY HAD MY NAME ON THEM. They just wrote right on the other side. They maintain that this is "just the way they and other dry cleaners do business". So, either I've gotten lucky that none of the dry-cleaners I've ever used before have done this, or they're full of BS. They then said that they would mark on my account to not use the barcodes or ink any more. Wouldn't that be something you would give customers an option of upfront? "Would you like us to permanently mar your clothing? Yes or no?" It's also a bit presumptuous to think because I am using a coupon as a first-time customer, that they would have a need to afix permanent barcodes. I tried taking the clothes to other dry cleaners in town, but they said they wouldn't remove the barcodes or the ink (they also said they don't do either). So, I was faced with letting the company that defaced my clothes attempt to fix them. I told them I wanted in writing that they would reimburse me for the cost of the items they damaged if they did not fix them to my satisfaction. The owner simply said "we'll cross that bridge when if it comes to that point." They also accused me of being rude and vulgar, when I was anything but, especially considering the circumstances. They currently have thousands of dollars worth of my clothing. I hope to at least see it again some day. If not, I made sure to track down invoices for it all. read more

Unbelievably high prices. I was speachless when charged 8.00 to press a pair of pants. If I didn't like them so much I would have left them there. In spite of the cost I decided to take my duvet cover to them because it was expensive and I thought I could trust them to do a good job. Whether or not they did a good job I will never know, because I never saw it again. I was told they did everything possible to find it but couldn't. How do you lose a queen size duvet cover? Seriously, how does this happen? A pocket square, small scarf, blouse, I can see misplacing for a period of time, but an item that is yards and yards of fabric to just disappear? How does that happen? I not only lost a duvet cover, I lost my entire bedding set because I have a bed skirt, euro shams, regular shams four decorative pillows, sheets, and a blanket with the main piece missing. After several months, with phone calls not being returned, I contacted the BBB to get reimbursed $90 for the duvet cover. The balance of $1,400.00 to replace the set is on me. read more

Wow, they are expensive! I tried their convenient pick-up in my neighborhood (downtown Omaha). They did a good job with the pick-up and delivery. For the price, though, I would rather drop off and pick up my own at another local dry cleaner. They did an average job with the cleaning. I recommend them, which is why I gave two stars, but be prepared to spend a fortune. read more

I was recommended to come here by a friend/menswear store owner. He made $20 by the recommendation and I received a credit of $20. That $20 pays for a hem on a pair of pants, should you want to know the schedule. Or half the poor cleaning of a bow-tie. I spoke to their customer service manager, Jessica. She was helpful and said that they would refund all the upcharges to my credit card. I also asked her to email me with a list of the "base charges" and the upcharges, so I could have a record of what my refund amount should be. This was two weeks ago. I never received an email or a refund. I have called her back about 6 times and left about 4 voicemails. I even called the store and spoke to one of the store managers, Dana. She passed on the message yesterday, and Jessica said that she would call me back. She claims to have sent me an email (I look through all my junk mail before deleting them), and that I would only get a credit, not a refund. She never returned my call, didn't pick up when I called her this morning and just now. I don't know if they think I'll stop calling, but I won't. Next time I call the store, I am going to ask to speak with Jessica's manager. This is just ridiculous. They really had the chance to semi redeem themselves by refunding the upcharges, and I was going to write a better review. No way, not now. Now that I know she hasn't been on vacation, and that she had gotten all my messages. Sucks that I'm forced to give them a star. read more

Live downtown, so in that respect the place is in a convenient location. A local business. TOTALLY overpriced wen it comes to altercations. They said they'd rush it - a rush was 3 days. If you do altercations 3 days is not a rush. Rush means I'm knowingly paying extra for immediate work. Dropped off a military top and needed it cleaned and two new stripes down on the sleeves. Simple work for a seamstress. I told tem HEAVY STARCH. The HEAVIEST. Everyone dry cleaner knows military uniforms should always receive the heaviest starch. I would agree with the other reviewers about pricing -- this company charges unbelievably high prices for the same quality of service. I took two dresses in for dry cleaning and when done charged $44! I've never paid so much for two items. when I inquired, was told dresses 'start' at $17 for dress ($5 more than Camelot, which provides comprable quality, except for the 'eco-friendly' claim). However, because one of my dresses was a high-end brand, they automatically dry-clean under their "premium tier"... there are tiers to dry-cleaning?? If so, should the customer not be told before the service, either a clear sign somewhere visible in the store, or verbal when accepting the items? I respect businesses their right to assess their own pricing, but object to imposing hidden fees or extra service without customer consent. Understand and do expect I will have to pay for special fabrics, but this was not the case. the dress is 100% cotton and only difference is the brand tag. below quote directly from them: "The starting price for dresses is $17.13 and may go up depending on material and name brand. It looks like on your navy dress is was a Burberry which is a platinum brand so it was done under our platinum tier. If this is something you would not like in the future we can notate your account. " To be fair, I inquired with Camelot and another service if they charge 'premium' pricing for high end brands and both confirm no such thing. Although the customer service was friendly, their pricing strategy and hidden policies leave much to be desired. For the quality of service and better pricing, I would recommend going else-where. I've used Camelot before for suits, silk dresses and business, lined dressed before and cannot tell the difference in dry-cleaning service. read more

I've been here twice and the first time I didn't have any issues. However, the second time I went there I brought 3 pairs of pants and they lost all 3 pants. So they were not ready by my scheduled pick up date. I had to wait a couple more days and drive back there again before they were ready. For such high prices, you would expect better service. Exemplary customer service. I took two pillows in based on an estimate. I was not sure what all was involved but the manager called me and let me know before any actions were taken. Miriam was the woman I dealt with at both drop off and delivery. The Best of Omaha "I voted" discount had been applied at pick up. Took one golf shirt in to 156th St location and asked if there was a way to fix the collar popping up, they said they would do what they could and did a good job and charged me $1.50. I then took in six more shirts and asked for the same service. I was then called and told the $1.50 was wrong it should have been $8.00 a shirt but to compromise they would do $4.00 shirt. I agreed went in to pick up my shirts and was told a total of $96.00. I explained how this was wrong and they called the DM to correct this. They did and then I was told $72.00. I said I have six shirts at $4.00 that should be $24.00. They called the DM again and she said it was $4.00 for each shirt to be fixed and $8.00 per shirt for dry cleaning, which the shirts didn't need nor was it asked for. (they seem to like to dry clean shirts even if you don't ask them to) They finally said that it would only be the price it should have been at $24.00 and as I was handed my shirts I was told the DM said they wouldn't tailor anymore of my shirts if they were brought in dirty. I guess dirty to them means that they have to clean it instead of a washing machine. I went to a different tailor and got more shirts done at half the price with none of the other mess. read more
