Best place I've been too. I've been a to a few places in COrnelius but always end up coming back to Quinn nails. The place is clean and they do the job right! My nails don't break off in a day or two. My nails look great. The only thing is there's only two people working every time. I wish the would hire more people. It is a pretty nail salon but this place does not know how to remove gel nail polish. They literally left CHUNKs of gel polish residue and just painted over it. So the manicure was basically lumpy and uneven. I have no words. read more

The owner, Quinn, did my gel manicure and my pedicure when I was visiting Mooresville for a wedding. It's been two full weeks and my nails are STILL fresh!!!! Like there's no signs of wear or tear or chipping. She paid very close attention to my cuticles which is honestly HUGE for me because literally every other salon I've ever gone to, they just briefly go over them, even though my cuticles are always what's in need of the most maintenance. Quinn and her staff are very pleasant and sweet. They always remember my name and ask me about my mom and grandma (also regulars). I've had pedicures all over Boston, New York, etc but when I come home I always go to Quinn's because they last so long and the ladies have great attention to detail. I strongly dislike spending more than 45 minutes getting a pedicure and Quinn's has a great balance between quality and speed. Great and cheap eyebrow waxing as well. I've never had my eyebrows walloped thin here, and it doesn't hurt as much either. Really hate when I'm not in Davidson and need an eyebrow wax! read more

What they lack in doo das they make up for in their warm staff interaction, close attention to detail, incredible job at very reasonable rates and perfect customer service. Overall, I must say I had a disappointing experience here. When I walked in, there were only two ladies working, each had a client with her. When I told them I needed a polish change, they looked around as if to suggest "can't you see, there's no one here to help you." Then one of the ladies told me to pick out a color and wait. Their color collection is really lousy. They have very limited shades and the ones they have are mostly pinks, reds, and oranges. I wanted an opaque white to layer a sheer glitter over, but they had none! The only whites they had were sheer, which was really disappointing. I picked out a sheer and told her to put down two coats of that and a blue glitter over it. She did a really bad job. She didn't polish or shape my nails till I asked her to (doesn't a polish change include that?). Then she left jagged edges until I pointed it out to her and asked her to smooth it out. The whole nail painting process was really hurried, wherein she herself smudged a part of my top coat and left it unaddressed. The rest of my nail color took forever to set because she never let the coat underneath dry before putting on a layer over it. Lastly, these guys don't have UV lights so I had to sit with my hands held in front of the fan for 40 minutes, and I'm not even exaggerating! I will never ever go back, even if the $6 polish change rate sounds very appealing. read more
