In an effort to not make a drive to my normal place in holiday traffic, I looked around for a new location to check out more locally. I was hoping to stumble across a pedi and a glass wine like at my normal spot (don't judge me) but didn't seem to find any. Reviews seemed to indicate this was a prime spot to stop, so I decided to check it out. It was a quiet afternoon in Fashion so they were able to get me in last minute for both a pedicure and new set. It wasn't the most comfortable or relaxing pedicure I've ever had, but the end result turned out fine in terms of the paint job. As for my nails, I do appreciate corrections that were quickly made when I asked, but I do wish that nail techs in general would speak up early if shown a design that they aren't quite sure they can execute. I'm one that comes in with back up plans just in case, but the color scheme is usually different. So once they say they can do it I'm committed to that design. The one I got was OK... And I did tell him good enough when he asked, but because I knew that was pretty much where we were. I don't dislike it, which is why I didn't go through the trouble of having him try again... But I'm not in love with it. When it came to the painting, it kind of felt like the job started being rushed due to an unhappy customer they were trying to get to. Overall I'd rate the experience a 3.5. Not bad, just not something that would have me running back and committed to this location. read more

This was my first visit to Fashion Nails. They are under new management and I live down the street so why not give them a try. I made an appointment for a full set and a pedicure. When you walk in you can check in at the front kiosk. I was greeted and taken back immediately. Mia did my full set, she was great. Soft touch, quick and efficient. Very sweet and my nails are beautiful! Pedicure was next, I didn't get the man's name (my bad for not asking) but he only works weekends. He was also very nice and made small talk. Roy work is beautiful don't get me wrong but I stopped going to him and shop as overall because i realized he was over charging me 85-95 dollars per set even if it was a fill. Even said $80 for medium-short almond shaped white French tip. I recommend him to my friend because he does a nice job for it to be done at a shop and fast but she showed me her medium tapered square nail with French tip and one bling nail on both ring fingers even had little flowers on the nails she said he only charged her 60 dollars. Then she went there again and he charged her $50 for regular French tip, again she gets her nails longer than mines. I even got my toes done with one acrylic big toe and French tip and it was still more than her's. Getting my feet done was probably the worst thing I've got done there, she was rough and filed my skin to where she was cutting me and I kept telling her you're cutting my skin she continued doing the same thing. I am really disappointed because I liked his work and how fast he was but I hate being cheated out my money. Why over charge me? I stopped going earlier this year but it just surprise me every time she gets hers done it is more extra and longer than mines and she pays $20-30 less, I even tipped in $10 in cash every time coming in before I felt like something wasn't adding up. So disappointed and don't have any intention on coming back. I don't know what to say if you're looking to get serviced here because I don't know what they are looking at in a person to determine they are going to over charge them. Maybe don't use your designer bag when going in there or something, definitely ask for the pamphlet before to see prices add that up yourself. I just started doing my own nails again save me a lot every month. read more

His shaping is perfection every single time, so precise and clean it is like he reads my mind. If you're thinking about booking with him, do it. You will not regret it. I had a scheduled appointment for 10:30 am and to my dismay, I waited 30 minutes past that time without any acknowledgement or explanation from your staff . As someone with a busy schedule, I value my time greatly and this experience completely disrupted my morning. I had been a regular customer, planning to visit every month but this incident has changed my perspective entirely. It is unacceptable to provide a set appointment time and then fail to honor it . Today I came to Fashion Nails for the first time. I scheduled a pedicure and got Joseph as my technician. What a great experience. Joseph was so nice and gentle. You have a choice of a few different pedicures. I don't usually wear polish so I just got the basic spa pedicure for $25. You soak, then he cleaned my nails, cut & filed my nails, cleaned my cuticles and then gave me a great massage, I almost fell asleep. I contacted this establishment on a last minute basis, inquiring about an acrylic full set as I know not many people offer this service. The person behind the Instagram account replied back in a very quickly manner and scheduled me in literally last minute and within under 30 minutes availability--amazing! Mia was my technician and while there, I decided to add the deluxe pedicure to my acrylic toe service. Mia did far from great, I cannot credit her enough! I took my two teens and myself out for some much needed girls time and one of my teen was her first time getting a manicure. We saw this place and thought it was nice to try it out, but the lady that attended my teen who was her first time cut her twice and didn't say anything my daughter was too nervous to speak up and she also had told her twice she wanted hearts on her nails and didn't give her that either. I didn't find out till we got in the car and started crying, My teen didn't had a good experience and was upset and cried the way home. I don't recommend this place at all.
