Wish I would have seen your Yelp Reviews before my visit. Walked in, intrigued by the variety of clothing & accessories within the store. Found 4 summer tops, stood in the check-out line with no one around me but the cashier for 5 minutes before acknowledged. Tried my items on at home only to find out the ACTUAL SIZE DOES NOT REFLECT THE TAG SIZE on any of them. NO REFUNDS - STORE CREDIT ONLY. Your clothes are miss marked AND don't fit properly period. Twisted seams, etc...Yet you force customers to shop at your store after their returned purchase?!?!? So not to lose my money, I'll make another purchase on something I don't need or want - however it will be UNDER PROTEST no doubt. read more

If I had the option to give no stars I would! Today after my long day of school I went to fashion Q to look for some shirts. As I entered the store I made eye contact with the cashier. she looked me up and down and started to follow me through out the store. I felt very uncomfortable almost if she thought I was going to steal something from the store. She eventually came up to me in a rude tune saying "do you need something if you're not buying anything get out!" I was very confused and just left. This is no way to treat a person you are there to provide a service not harass or make costumers uncomfortable when entering your store. read more

WORST STORE EVER!!!!!got a blouse and the sides got ripped right away, even it is loose on me. I tried exchanging it with the receipt that shows i bought it 3 days ago and a tag. MANAGER SAID NO!!!because I washed the blouse, Im like isnt it you're supposed to wash the blouse, im like Wth, it does not even indicate there that it is a special wash. And she is telling me about the seams. Im like it is very obvious that it is a very poor quality for a $19.99 blouse. Ripped off and very Poor customer service. Reported them to DOJ-OAG. I know that it's overrated for a $20.00 blouse. But I am fighting for a principle here. I have been buying clothes to them even if they have worst customer service. Okay, so this place is pretty great. They have everything from jeans and dresses to loungewear and jackets. Everything is priced reasonably, but some things are horrible quality. You have to pick and choose carefully. The dresses are really cute, but they only have sizes Small, Medium, and Large. If you're and extra small, good look. If you're larger and a size Large, they have another location (Fashion Q Plus) right across from this one. They have shoes at that location but not at this one. Weird. They have accessories from contact lenses to jewelry. the jewelry selection isn't all that great though. I would recommend walking a minute or 2 to the nearby Charlotte Russe for some really cute jewelry. The staff is quite nice. You are greeted almost immediately after taking your first steps into the store. They are quick to help you if you need any assistance, and are almost always near the fitting room if you wish to try on clothing. read more

First of all customer service is bad , second of all i saw a sweater that i really liked it was the last one and it had a yellow stain i asked if i could get a discount because i wanted it and i would be able to fix it and the owner made a face and said no so i left it behind . The main reason why I love shopping at Fashion Q is the prices are reasonable! The clothes they have here are like Forever 21 but half the price. Yes some of the clothing pieces are a hit or a miss. But most of the time I find great things. The jeans are good quality & they have many styles to choose from. I also got a pant suit from here. It was great quality! Also the heels are cute & they usually are priced at $25. But you would have to go next door at Fashion Q plus to see the shoe collection. Basically if you're at the Chula Vista mall it wouldn't hurt to stop by in here. Happy shopping! read more

I loveee the clothes here and the prices, this is my favorite store and I wish there were more. They always have good music too The customer service sucks though. The manager Tammy I think (the Asian lady) is rude, she has seen me many times and never says hi.. The other girls there also don't smile or say hi and seem stuck-up. read more

Got some jeans at another fashion Q location and i wanted to exchange them at this location because it was closer to my home, i had gotten the jeans a day before and the manager lady was accusing me of wearing them a lot "she could tell" and that they were wrinkled I only tried them on once and they were way too tight and left them folded in the bag and she said she would make an exception for me but the pants were brand new she kept going on about me wearing them so much i ended up not going thru with the exchange because they only had way bigger sizes available so i took my business else where and it was a better experience i will never shop here again and i do not recommend to do any returns or exchanges here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I love th prices here and th stuff is so cute . The only issue is the jewelry is not good quality so skip that, and the employees working the dressing room are usually young Hispanic girls who have attitude and once tried ripping off my mom for two dollars . It was ridiculous . The price was on it and she even asked if it was okay like we wouldn't notice . I like the setup and the Asian manager its al great . First I would just like to say my overall experience working there, was horrible. It might not be the same for other employers and employees they have in other locations. They are very unprofessional! When I came for an Interview. I was told that I would talk with the manager but when I came there, the two employees I approach, one of them didn't know that she was going to interview me (it was awkward) And I came there ready with resume and every other documents they would need. And the interview took only 5 minutes. After a few days i got a call and said that I was already scheduled 4-9 in the next upcoming week. The first day of the job I thought I was doing a pretty good job doing the training with another employee. I come everyday 10 min early to clock in exact time I was scheduled. It was one time I came 20 min early. She made me read all the policy and/or rules that they have ( I was in 90 days probation) like all employees get 10 minutes break, no gossiping, and no giving attitude to other employees and manager. And nothing is personal everything is just work one of the employees mentioned to me. I worked 3 days for my first week at 4-9. So basically the routine was the same I come there at least 10 minutes early. One time I saw the manager but for some reason she doesn't talk to me directly or look at me in the eye like the other employees. Except when I ask her things before I do it to make sure of course! But it was only a few times because I don't see her often that week. When she ask me to do something she doesn't even look at me or come near me and the store is quite big! her voice was so low, how can you expect me to hear you! I feel like the training was weak because after 2 days they stop telling me everything that I suppose to know. And the rest that I was doing was all guessing, like how could you let an employee do that. I mean some are common sense but ofcourse when it comes to customer service, restocking, and putting back clothes you need to say everything. They already know that they have routines on how to do it and each employees got they're own part on what they need to do or the most important thing to do first. But non of them ever told me that, so weird. So after my first week the second week I thought my schedule was the same as the first week. When they contact me and told me that " you are set for 4-9 every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday" They didn't say anything that every week schedule change every Thursday! And they contact me all late! if was still going on the next day of the second week. It's funny because in my application I put the hours that I'm available and they hassle me to change it because for some reason they don't do it that way. So i guess they want it specifically so i put 5-9 which is a total of 5 hours cause i put 7 hours and they don't do full time, so I was fine with that. When I did the interview and other days before that they ask me about myself. I did mention that I work in the morning yet they still schedule me in the morning. Whats the point of "getting to know me" and writing down the hours I'm available. They really lack on communication and team work. And the job that I was doing takes months to get use to, as they mentioned. As I work hard as I can one of the employees needs to help me putting back clothes but she bailed on me when I even ask her! It was to many clothes and their was a lot of customers that day trying out clothes of course its going to pile up. She bailed and try to do other things all she did was push clothes back. Making herself look like shes doing something instead of doing real work none of them know that. I didn't say anything about it because I didn't want to cause any trouble or a problem. I know that I'm the one who's still going to be blamed on ( I'm the new employee) And all I wanted to do is to impress them but they got serious issues. The next day I was there it was Thursday I was scheduled for 3days the first day, as I said they changed it without telling me so I didn't get to go the first day of second week (is that even my fault) I did feel overwhelmed since this is the first time this is happening to me. They scheduled me 11-3pm and called me informed me at 3:30. So it was Thursday and since now I know that they change schedule every Thursday. I should always check with the manager. I then talked to her after my shift when I clock out and asked her for my schedule in a respectful way as always. And in a shy way she told me that shes not done doing the schedule yet, so shes just going to contact me the next day. Every time they tell me that they're going to contact me they never do, I always end up doing it. When i called her Friday I couldn't understand what she was saying and that was another issue. No one even bothered to inform me that the manager doesn't know much how to speak english. All I heard in our conversation is probation and the fact that she cant explain herself! read more

They have by far the worst customer service EVER! I was shopping with my best friend, she tried on a vest in front of the mirror but decided to hang it on the nearest rack...while we where standing next to it talking about other clothes the manager comes up to her asks if she will take the vest, my best friend said no and the manager started YELLING AT HER, telling her why she didn't put it back where she got it from, accusing us of being bad customers! She kept yelling so we told her that a retail job consists of putting clothes back just like when you try something on and leave it on the rack. We asked to speak to the manager and she yelled once again saying she was the manager, we asked for a phone number to report her bad customer service and she said there was no number. The girls who worked there seemed terrified of her...I don't blame them, if this is how she treats customers, I can't imagine how she treats her employees. She ended up calling security, which security explained to her she can't kick us out of the mall that she can only ask us to leave the store.
