There is Macy's Furniture and Macy's regular store at this mall. Walking in I was never greeted nor spoken to by any associate I walked pass while browsing the furniture selection and their household goods (comforters, bathroom and other decor that is in here). The store seemed organized and clean but the customer service lacked tharlt special smile and greeting.

I was in there yesterday to get some Marc Jacob's perfume for a gift but they unfortunately didn't have the size I was looking for. Melissa and Manoli didn't hesitate to present and help me decide on another option. Macy's is having a friends and family sale that ends tomorrow 6/9 so it made sense to purchase a bigger size for a small price difference with the discount applied. Manoli was wonderful in helping me find a fragrance I was looking for by YSL and put me on to new perfume by Burberry (Her Intense) which smells amazing! What topped it all off is that Melissa also tossed in a free Marc Jacob's bag that was such a nice gesture!

I brought in a brand-new pair of Badgley Mischka shoes (retail value $139) that I received as a gift but couldn't wear because they were too small. They offered me $9, which I declined--no big deal. I planned to sell them elsewhere. The issue happened when an employee placed a pricing sticker directly on the shoe. When she removed it, it ripped part of the finish and left behind paper and adhesive residue. I pointed it out immediately, but I was told it was "just paper" and that it would come off. When I got home, I realized the residue wasn't coming off, and the sticker had actually damaged the shoe. I returned to the store to explain what happened. The owner looked at them and told me it was "no big deal" because the damage was barely noticeable. She offered me $40 for the shoes instead of taking responsibility for the damage her employee caused. These shoes were brand new, still in the box, and were only damaged because of how they were handled in the store. What disappointed me most wasn't just the damage--it was the complete lack of accountability. There was no apology, no acknowledgment that they had caused the problem, and no real effort to make it right. When I asked if they could offer $50 instead, I was told they would lose money. At that point, it was clear the focus was on protecting their profit rather than taking care of a loyal customer. I'm still shocked by how this situation was handled. A simple apology and an effort to make things right would have gone a long way.

Ebony was a delight to work with and she was very knowledgeable about the pieces, the different options, and how to dress items up or down. I have seen this store a few times while browsing the mall, and the clothes in the store front…read morealways looked gorgeous. As a plus-size gal, I was excited to check it out, so I came back to the mall specifically to go on a shopping spree, particularly here! However, I was quickly disappointed. Upon entering the store, all the staff were in a group in the middle, chatting. I was trying to pull clothes and having trouble balancing my purse, other shopping bags, hangers, and my jacket, but nobody noticed or offered to help me pull down things. After about 10 minutes, someone greeted me and put my clothes in the dressing room as I continued to browse, and that was probably my only proactive interaction. When the girl took my clothes she actually said to me, "sorry, we're all just catching up, you know?" which was a bit awkward, because clearly they all noticed they were ignoring me. While in the dressing room for about 20 minutes (I pulled a lot of stuff!), nobody checked on me once- which was a bummer because I had to swap things out for different sizes. I had to get dressed and go back on the floor to hunt the clothes down, and when I asked where one or two items were on the floor because I couldn't remember, none of the staff knew. That in itself wouldn't have bothered me too much if I had loved their clothes. However, while i loved just about everything on the rack, nothing fit me right. I pulled all the same size, and the shirts were huge on me (like, "is this a shirt or sleepwear?" huge), and all of the dresses were tight (like, "i can't breathe" tight). I pulled the shirts a size smaller and they fit a bit better, I pulled the dresses a size bigger and they were like potato sacks. I was just pretty confused, and could have used some help from the salespeople. At some point, I gave up and bought the one thing that fit me- a pair of pants that I actually really love- for only $38. I'm conflicted in rating this store, because I *love* that there are more plus-size options for us, and all of their clothes were gorgeous on the rack, especially their dresses. Perhaps my proportions just don't work well with their clothes, and maybe it was an off-night for the staff. I'd probably come back and give it a try, but be more aggressive to get the staff to help me with the clothing fit. Overall, I'd say it's still worth a try if you're a plus-size gal looking for some new clothes!
