Looking for a place that has name brands but highly discounted....well if so this is your place! Yes you do have to inspect these items to make sure there aren't any rips or holes. Let's get real though you either go to the actual brand name store (and pay a arm leg and sometimes a foot) or you out source for a better deal! If you are a have to have the HOT clothing item of the moment some of those items are here, now some of the items are a few seasons behind. In my world, I could care less..if I like it then I'll wear it! They also have shoes, housewares, bedding, jewelry, comestics, animal items, carry men clothing, children clothing, even snack foods! It may be a one stop shop for some people! For the most part since their renovation the items are placed in a neatly fashion! Meaning dresses for juniors are in one spot, shorts are in their section and so on. They even rearranged their Checkout lanes so yes they have candies and miscellaneous items for you to walk through...so yes you guessed it so you can buy more lol! So if you have children..you may want them in the cart at this time!! =) Bathroom usage...I wouldn't suggest it unless they have now just up and renovated that too. Last time I was there I was scared to even go and use anything because it was so NASTY!! So all in all stop in and look around, I'm pretty sure you will find at least one item!!! I went into this store for the first time yesterday. I was surprised how dirty and disheveled everything was. They do have great price on brand name stuff.. but especially during COVID-19 time, I would expect the store to be cleaner. This store sells named brand clothes... at discount prices. Really really really discounted prices. The deal is, crap here is cheap. But some of it is in really really really bad condition. You have to carefully check over everything you buy. Some of it is in perfectly fine condition, and you get it for so much cheaper than you would at a normal store. They have Ann Taylor, they have Hot Topic. They have something for everyone. They also have shoes, bags, food, and just about everything. Definitely worth checking out. I got a wonderful King size comforter set here the other day, which just has some stitching coming out of the seam. I fixed it up as good as new in about 30 minutes, and I got it for only $20. read more

While I was waiting for my family to return from the store, I was sitting in the parking lot in my car when all of a sudden my car was impacted by a shopping cart that did a lot of damage to the front left fender.! I went in to talk to the store manager about it. He told me he's "not gonna do anything about it", when I asked him for the corporate office phone number and his name, he told me "you're a real piece of work", and proceeded to scribble out a bogus number for Gabe's corporate office. He would not tell me his name. I purposely parked in a remote location so as not to suffer any damage but obviously there is no safe spot in this lot. No lot boy ever appeared while I waited. This manager is a nasty, nasty guy. read more

$6 Ann Taylor Items! I'm a "normal size " and i can always find nice items. Store is clean and staff is nice. Skip Harrisburg while the managers are confused and miss manage the staff leaving the newest clerk to check out a line of aggressive frequent shoppers with $100 + carts. Love all these stores for the cheap sneakers, shoes and lately yoga gear. read more

I Always come here first before looking somewhere else. Where else are you going to find $10 heels that are freaking cute as hell! Just bought my sons baseball cleats there for $17 (Nike) along with shirts for baseball and football season ranging from $3-$6 .. With my child needing (literally) a new wardrobe every season I always come here first.. Jeans for $6, yes please! Shorts for $5? Your bet your sweet ass I'm buying them.., I honestly recommend it for moms because you really can find anything and everything for your child whatever their age, and not have to stress that it'll be too small or "out of fashion" by next year. read more

So the place is remodeled, but is the same old Gabes. They've lost out on a lot of the brands that they used to stock up on. I have it a 3 star based on the fact that they refuse to open more registers! There's always 10 people in line and someone always needs a price check which can take forever. I have had times where I have put things back bc I didn't want to wait. Good deals though if you find something that you like. I remember before the stuff used to have holes and stains but I haven't seen any in awhile which is always a plus. I am usually a Rugged Wearhouse shopper (owned by the same company) so this was an excursion to the mother-ship. It was what I expected. Like TJ or other deep discount stores, you should never go to Gabe's looking for something specific. Rather, you go to Gabe's and look to see what they have. and if you see it, buy it, because it won't be there next week. BTW: Officially they have changed their name to "Gabe's". I have shopped there twice during this holiday season, although the lines were long, and the store was busy, both times we were greeted by very friendly and kind cashiers. Which considering the hours they work and standing on their feet for so long is a miracle in itself. Very pleasant experience, and great prices. Definitely shopping there again. Went back to Gabe's to make a return, another extremely friendly and efficient cashier, and she reminded me to use my coupons before they expire. Loving this Gabe's. read more

Today I went to the store while my son was in preschool hoping to get some Christmas shopping done. I had my newborn in a carrier and a cart. I went out of my way to go down a clear aisle to not interrupt the employee working, but ended up having to back up since the store is so clustered with Christmas goods ( couldn't fit the cart through anywhere). When I said excuse me, the lady gave me a horrible attitude because I interrupted her scanning.. turns out this was the manager on duty. She was so rude that I ended up leaving my full cart and asking to speak to a manager (she walked up to me to see what the issue was). I told her how rude she was to me so early in the morning when I nicely asked her to pass by and she said she didn't say anything, she just moved but her entire demeanor was disgusted. I will never shop there again with management that cannot apologize or treat the customers like people. If she needs the entire aisle to do her "counting", she should do it when the store is closed!! read more
