    First time shopping experience: so mid. Looks cute but haven't invested in fixing parking lot yet. Entrances smelled like a dead animal. Everything is glass so they can see you coming a mile away but the security guard watched us and waited until we pulled on the door to open it. *eye roll* There is very little merch displayed at this flagship store. Made me use an iPad to shop online (while in person) and put it in my digital cart before they went and got it. Didn't tell me how long it would be so I stood there waiting and then they were weird about it. I'm not a mind reader and there was no communication (i .e. "it will be 10 minutes so sit down" would have been nice). Finally brought out the item, I said I wanted it. They wanted all my personal info and I couldn't just pay which is so annoying. When I got home they didn't put the almost $1000 item back in the case, it was loose in the box! So dumb. People get offered water but I didn't. Weird, trying too hard place with terrible service. Employees weren't nice and it was an ordeal even when I knew exactly what I wanted.

    Purchased a Louis Vuitton murakami white speedy 30 and it was shipped from this location. The item arrived NOT as described!!! Lock was broken and reeks of perfum. Highly do not recommend!!!

    Just wanted to say although I have been before today's visit was just the sweetest! I added the bags to my cart and was greeted as we arrived. Haily was so patient and kind! This will be my daughter's first luxury bag and she wants to make this purchase herself. She wants to make the best choice and save a little money while being in a calm comfortable environment Thank you so much

    They sent me a label to ship my 4,000 dollar purse to them for resell and magically it was stolen between me shipping it to them or upon arrival and they refused to give me any information on an insurance claim or receiving a credit despite the only way to get the expensive item to them is by using their shipping label. I spent months trying to get them to correspond with me which was so disappointing considering I had been a customer for years. They gave me the run around over a receipt which I provided 2 times and basically refused to make it right by continuing to say the same idiotic thing. They are cat fishing around...pretending to be helpful knowing they aren't interested in making this right knowing they are responsible. I guess we will take this to small claims court because they do not want to make it right.

    I'm so saddened and so disappointed with FashionPhile's customer service. I purchased a LV Monogram Artsy MM bag a few months ago. I spent over $2300 and was so excited because it was exactly the size I was looking for. Although I realize that the handbags they sell are gently used- I did not expect the LV letters to start peeling off within weeks of the purchase. I took it back to the FashionPhile store at the Carlsbad outlets and showed them the peeling. I didn't want a refund- I simply wanted to exchange it for one that is not peeling. I really loved that style of the handbag. They told me that It was past their 15 day return policy and that I need to take it to the flagship store. So I did that and the flagship store turned me away and told me to call their corporate phone office. So again, I did just that. The representative on the phone was very kind and informed me that he opened a ticket and will have the correct team get back to me tomorrow. They didn't. I waited a few days, called back and spoke with another very kind customer service representative who told me I would get an email by the end of the day. I did not. Finally- I got a generic email from them stating "FashionPhile takes authenticity very seriously" and that the peeling of the LV letters I was experiencing was normal wear and tear. However if I wanted to contest the authenticity of the handbag that I purchased from them, that I was required to submit a certificate from an authentication service stating that the bag was not authentic. I just wish they would have done the right and kind thing to exchange it. The whole experience was so disappointing.

    Hayley was so amazing, honest, and helpful with helping me find purses for my birthday trip!!! She was interested in seeing my outfits and immediately knew what would match me well. Couldn't recommend more she's a great personal stylist, and brought me a Christian Dior purse that matched my dress perfectly and i love it. Also, the store is so neat and clean and all of the bags on display are in immaculate condition. Fashionphile is my new favorite store and they have deals that cannot be beaten.

    See how it has been sewn crooked at the very base? Usually find this kind of thing with counterfeit Nike shoes.

I don't understand how hard it is to say "Welcome" or "Hi". Do I not look like your typical client? They seem to judge whom they're going to engage with and not engage. From other reviews on here this seems to be on ongoing issue with the employees. It's all about the TRAINING!!! I like the clothes but I just can't see giving money to this establishment when the employees can't engage. I walked in yesterday and there were two employees who never once said one thing to me. I walked around picked up something I was going to buy and then I put it back because no one spoke to me. This has not been the first time no one has spoken to me. I walked out and down the street and made purchases at two other boutiques because they were friendly and engaging. Please teach your staff how to be kind and welcoming to all. It's really not that hard. The women working here don't seem to care about customer service or they don't know how to engage with customers because they haven't been trained. I still have a gift card to use here and it will be awhile before I decide to use it or give it to someone else.

The thing is Aranelle no longer carries this brand BUT she was able to know what bag I was describing and directed me to where I could find it. That is a woman who knows her store! He gave me a few recommendations over the phone, and instead of thinking about it for a few days, I made the 60-mile drive down the very next day -- impatience at its finest. When I got there, Mike greeted me, spent a ton of time answering questions, listened to all my concerns, and never once tried to upsell me. He was super laid back, knowledgeable, and helped me find the perfect longboard for where I am in my surfing journey. After I made my decision, he walked me through everything, explained why he recommended the board, threw on an initial wax job, and even hooked me up with a few bars for the drive home. The best part? Everything he told me about the board turned out to be true. On my first session, the difference was immediate. The board performed exactly as he described and made the transition from my old board incredibly easy. I was already hooked on surfing before, but after riding this board, I now have an even bigger hunger to get in the water. Honestly, it's probably not healthy. hahaha! A few weeks later, I called the owner, John, just to let him know how happy I was with the experience. He was every bit as genuine as Mike--clearly someone who cares about his customers and has a real passion for surfing. In a world where great customer service is getting harder to find, these guys absolutely delivered. The Board Source has earned a customer for life. Thanks again for an awesome experience!

When I decided to have a custom Takayama DT4 performance longboard made, it no longer made sense to keep a similar Firewire board in my lineup. I reached out to The Board Source online, sent photos as requested, and was invited to bring the board in. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and refreshingly straightforward. The shop itself is spotless, well-organized, and located in an industrial park with plenty of parking. Walking in, it's hard not to feel like a kid in a candy store because the selection of boards here is way impressive. Ashleigh gave me a very fair price for my Firewire performance longboard, carbon fins, and board bag, and JP offered thoughtful, honest advice about my quiver and resale value. The entire transaction was fast, efficient, and handled with integrity. Could I have sold the board myself for more money on Craigslist or Marketplace? Possibly. But my time is valuable, and the convenience, expertise, and professionalism made this an easy decision. Supporting respected local surf businesses matters to me, and The Board Source absolutely delivers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and look forward to working with them again!

I should have known better, I've tried selling clothes at Plato's Closet, Flashback, Buffalo Exchange etc...and they never take my stuff. I don't know why and I promise I always made sure they were clean and in good condition. They were brands they listed they accepted on the site: Anthropologie and American Eagle...they didn't take any. The girls were super nice and I appreciated it. But it just always seemed wild to me that they take on brands such as Wild & Fable and A New Day...and my stuff isn't that super outdated again I don't know their process for selecting clothes because they do have curated pieces. In summary, for shopping it could be fun and you can find some stuff but not on a thrift price. However as for selling, unfortunately at this point now I've just never had a good experience selling clothes at these kind of places. If you want to sell clothes you will have better luck on Poshmark where I've sold clothes more easily. So this place can be fun for buying but for selling you might leave feeling frustrated and confused which is why I rated this place at 3 stars.
