I first thought it was wallpaper made to look like Life magazine pages, but some pages seemed to be peeling. I don't mind reading hemorrhoid ads from the 60's while drinking my beer per se, just an observation. The furniture was mismatched like estate sale items picked up from people who wanted to think they were high class in the 1960's. You could probably still smell Lucky Stripes every time you sat on the seat cushions. There was no music playing and there were only 6 or 7 (don't you dare do that 6-7 thing with your hands while reading this!) other people inside. So, I had to listen to this pretentious group talking about opera, the child welfare system and other topics while their noses were up and pinkies were out. There was an older guy on the opposite end of the room that seemed to be loudly mocking them. He thanked me for coming as I was leaving.... was he the owner? LOL. I ordered my standard flight from a very nice lady that seemed to be new. I got 2 IPA's (Mongoose Slayer and Striker IPA) that were solid, a Black Venom stout that was ok and a Belgian Quad (Medusa) that I wasn't fond of. There are no food options, but I assume there are food trucks from time to time. The outdoor area has a few games and tables and a more normal atmosphere. If they had some music to drown out Lilith and Frasier, I'd go back and give them a try.

B-52 also brews 11 Below's beers so they have both available in the tap room. I got my standard flight which consisted of a stout, 2 IPA's and a doppelbock. All of them were pretty good but the doppelbock was phenomenal. The best I have ever had for that style. It was a little chocolately, malty, and sweet. They had a pizza kitchen onsite that looked tasty. The outdoor sitting area is very nice, lots of trees so it feels like you are at a campsite. They also have an indoor sitting area but it's not much on atmosphere.

And that is being kind. They had a few spaces available in a field but to get to those spaces you had to drive through a 5 foot hole that was at least 4 feet deep! Thanks but no thanks I don't do off roading! At 2pm this place was packed! There was a DJ, people everywhere, small children everywhere and quite a few dogs. More specifically Fallout and Roger Clemens dominate 2 of those categories. I tried 4 different beers, and I wouldn't say one dominated, but my favorite was the Stellarator imperial IPA. There is a big indoor area with lots of seating, video games to play and a stage for bands. There was also a covered area outside with lots of picnic tables. I don't believe they have a kitchen onsite (I didn't see one) but I assume they have food trucks as the large parking lot is set up for them. I have frequently felt under-represented in the beer categories. I love my stouts, and porters, and generally darker heavier beers. Had I no income to the yelp event, I would never have known!!! This place rocks. They have quite a selection, and they have a great space too. Situated in Old Town Spring, quite close to Corkscrew BBQ (my current HTOWN BBQ favorite), this place is a bit of a drive for me. But entirely worth it! They have a smaller indoor seating area, if you're looking to get out of the Sun or get some air. They have a larger outdoor seating area with tables, chairs, benches and the such. They also have pop-up markets, and food trucks that come through. I would definitely check their calendar if you get a chance to get out there and see what else is going on.
