I saw a Groupon for fast and easy movers and did my research. I checked yelp. Googled the company and looked at other review sites to feel them out before contacting them. I felt confident that my move was in fact going to be "fast and easy". Unfortunately it was anything but. I received a call the night before to confirm my start time of 8:30-9:30 and was assured they would be on time and would wrap my furniture and bed. We woke up early on the move day and thought we would help and get all the boxes out for them before hand so they would have a clear shot to the sofa, bed and furniture. After moving the boxes down I received a call from Oscar saying he was running late and just leaving Houston and needed to stop and pick up the third mover in Austin and would call me when he got to him. Mind you this call came at the time they were to already be at my place. He assured me they would be there within an hour and half. 2 hours later I called and asked what the ETA was now and he was still not in Austin. He kept me on the phone while he put in the address for directions and said he would be there in 45 minutes. They did not arrive until after 12pm! And the first load was not on the truck until well after they arrived. The 2 helpers Oscar had were brand new to moving and did not know what they were doing. They dragged my belongings without wrapping them and damaged both my bed frame and mattress. My sister was the one that ended up loading the boxes into the moving truck while one of the movers was busy chatting it up with me about his old job and where he used to live as well as how much I pay for rent, the cost of living in Austin and how hungry he was. Once everything was loaded I confirmed the address and gave them the name of the apartments just in case they got separated from me (they were following me). Low and behold they got lost. I waited for them at the gate and they never arrived so I gave Oscar a call and was told they were lost. I gave them the address and the apartment name again and went up to my new place. They finally got to us and hour later which I assume is due to them being so hungry. They must have stopped for lunch on my dime. When they unloaded the truck my sister and nephew ended up helping them with the bulk of the boxes just to get the move completed. They dragged my mattress again all the way up to the third floor ruining it as well as the bed frame they left propped on the side of the truck which fell. I have emailed and called bout filing a claim for he damaged items and will update this review when I hear back. As of now I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I called the company twice now to see about a claim for my damaged bed and did not get an answer the first time and the second time (today) my call was answered and I was told I would get a call back this afternoon from someone in upper management. I am still waiting for that call and it's 8 pm. read more

They damaged an expensive dresser because they neglected to wrap the item before moving it and banging it into the walls, and when I contacted them to file a claim they informed me that under the law they had 90 days to process that claim. It's now been over 120 days, and the company continues to dodge my calls and emails, and has not attempted to resolve the claim. I've continued to contact them to handle this claim to no avail. Fast and Easy moves were great. From setting up the appointment with Chris, to the actual move (Chris and Angel) they were helpful, professional, and kind. I used a Groupon to find them and it was well worth it! They arrived on time (even though they had to drive from Houston), loaded everything up fast and unloaded all under the two hours that I had purchased. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE THIS COMPANY! I bought a Groupon for 2 Men for 2 hours to move one portable (I'm an elementary school teacher) worth of boxes, 1 set of cubbies, a chair and 2 lamps from 1 campus to another. First we were rescheduled to the next day from the prior weekend's weather, then they said we could "choose our time" for the following day and said they would be there at 10am. I confirmed that morning and headed across town to meet the movers. I texted, etc. with no response once I got there. We called at 10:30 and were told they were, "on their way"... At 11:30 we called again and were told that they just put that they were "en route", when we mentioned that we were told that an hour ago, the dispatcher rudely responded, "well I guess not". Once my "movers" showed up, it went from bad to worse. Two random men (one younger, slow moving man and one elderly small man), not "licensed, professional, uniformed (as advertised) movers", in a rented UHaul truck with ONE (rented) DOLLY between them came in. They started their timer at 12:05 and I said there shouldn't be a problem getting this stuff packed (it is only one teacher's boxes) and driven and unloaded in 2 hours, right? and he acted like it wouldn't be a problem. They began slowly talking about moving stuff and loading, then breaking my storage box of books (dropping my organized readers all over the floor), then putting it on the dolly backwards after I had picked them up, so- you guessed it- they all fell out again. After me putting the books back quickly as to not waste more time they began slowly moving a few boxes at a time on the dolly while the other "mover" stayed and talked or looked at the boxes or carried a single box at a time. In the hour it took them to do a 20-30 minute job they had multiple breaks for water, discussing the pond out back, using my classroom restroom (and not washing their hands), and much discussion instead of just MOVING THE BOXES. When they were down to their last dolly worth of boxes, I headed out so that I could beat them to my new school to find out where to put my stuff. I got there and then the movers showed up more than 45 minutes later (after I talked to dispatch and was told they probably had to take a different route even though it is all highways between the two schools. Once we got to my new school (where as a new teacher I am trying to make a positive impression) things just got worse. The older (60s maybe) gentleman who was moving me without the dolly decided to take all the breaks while sitting on my teaching chair in his very sweaty shirt (on the stage where they were having me store my stuff for summer). When I was outside he went to the assistant principal, who was working in the office, and asked if the janitors had a flat bed to move stuff on because that would be faster. He then sat for about 20 minutes waiting (sitting in my chair not moving anything) before going back into the office while I was walking down the hall and bothering the office staff again for one. They then made an all school announcement asking for one. At this point I am mortified because I was trying to be as little trouble as possible and these guys are bothering my new school staff instead of being prepared in the first place or asking me to ask for it. After he finally received the flat bed dolly (which they should've had to begin with)- they resumed moving my stuff- slowly- for another 30 minutes. During this time I was moving my stuff too because I just wanted it to be over with. The older gentleman continued to take breaks regularly while the slower, younger man would go out to the truck for 10 minutes at a time to load the flat bed, having now abandoned the one rented dolly they brought. It took them a total of 3 1/2 hours to do a 2 hour job and then they demanded to be paid another $150 for the extra time. When we tried to explain the situation to the dispatcher (who seemed completely like a random guy/friend of the "movers" who had no idea what he was doing) - he told the drivers to stay outside of my new school and that if we didn't pay the money immediately he would call the cops for theft of services. He laughed at us when we explained that the service just wasn't what was advertised or paid for and hung up after threatening to call the cops again. We called back again and he said he wouldn't call the cops if we paid $77 immediately. Normally I would've said, yes please, call away and handled it with the police- but they were out in front of my new school and I didn't want them to cause a scene. This was a nightmare of an experience. We called Groupon who said, "sorry, this is non-refundable, but thanks for the feedback"... WTF? So- long story long- run from them! I purchased a Groupon for a 3 man moving team (for 2 hours) several weeks ago for an in town move. If I were rating the movers themselves, I'd give them five stars. They did an excellent job. The company itself is awful. There is no communication between corporate and the people actually completing the job. They switched my time slot last minute from 1pm to 8am via text. I wasn't going to be at the location until 12:30. In a panicked state, I desperately tried to reach someone over the phone to resolve the situation and could not. Needless to say, the time conflict wasn't relayed to the gentleman driving the truck, and the moving crew showed up at 8am. By the time I reached a human being on the phone, the movers had gone to their next job. Fortunately, the crew was able to circle back and move me after their last appointment. It was miserably hot outside when they arrived. I intentionally hired 3 guys because I knew it would be a brutal move to a top floor apartment with no elevator. The company only sent 2 guys, and they expected them to work an additional half hour because they didn't have adequate staffing. I felt terrible for the movers. They were a nightmare and after dealing with them for over 8 hours of constant not answering of their phone, ended up cancelling and SAYING they refunded me the travel fee, which I never got a receipt for after they told me I should have one in my email. I had to reach out to Groupon to get a refund from them, which was no issue. Side note: their disclaimer on their Groupon page about the travel fee is WRONG. prices are lower than what they actually are. I had an appt. scheduled for 8am when I first booked. Within the couple of weeks after booking, up until the day of the move, a guy (cannot remember his name) called me at least 5 or 6 separate times to get my info again like he never wrote it down the first time? I should have known right then and there but gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking he was just a new employee and still getting the hang of everything. I got a text that said the time changed to 12:30pm, so i called to ask why and they said someone else paid the travel fee online before me so that got them that time slot? Makes no sense already because I BOOKED WITH THEM FOR 8AM POINT BLANK. Yesterday was the day for the move. I wake up to a text saying my scheduled move time has changed to 4 PM - I call and asked why. I'm getting a lot of "uhhh..." and "uhm...". These people have no clue what they are doing, it was made clear. Bear mind, this is them finally answering after me calling MANY times with no answer.. you can imagine the stress I am feeling and worry that I have been screwed over. Now I already paid, so I'm full-on freaking out. 4PM rolls around and NOTHING, no movers, no call to explain, nothing. Call them 15+ times again, no answer. FINALLY get an answer and they are saying their movers are still on the first move of the day because the elevator is broken so that is why it is taking so long. Okay... SO WHY DID THEY NOT REACH OUT TO ME BEFORE TO LET ME KNOW? Cannot give me an estimated time of arrival at all. I asked them for a refund of the travel fee for all the inconvenience and they said no. Greg kept saying he was not the guy in charge of that and i asked for the person who was and he just could not give me a straight answer. Could tell he was full of sh*t. If they are doing the job, they should get paid, I believe that, but in that moment I felt it was THE LEAST THEY COULD HAVE DONE for the amount of stress they put me through. Ended up cancelling and now i'm just praying that they actually refunded me. This has been an EXTREMELY stressful experience with the most vague idea the whole day of what was going on. Also, the fact they do not answer their phone and can never answer my questions is beyond unprofessional. I'm not sure how they are still allowed to be a moving company and I truly believe they should be investigated. They have been reported. PLEASE, do not use this company and deal with what I had to. DO NOT use this moving company! I was suggested to purchase the 3 man Groupon for a tiny 2 bedroom apartment. I moved the boxes myself, all they had to do was move the little furniture I did have. It took them about 4 HOURS...and they claimed that they could not fit my couch upstairs so they left it in the garage (although I had 2 friends move it no problem later that week). I had to pay hundreds of dollars in overtime because of this. They took their time chatting to my neighbor on my dime and did not listen to our instructions. They also broke some of the furniture and when I called to talk to the manager Derek, he did not answer. It has been 2 months, and he will not call me back after I have left multiple messages. Management is not up to par. Their window of time to show up was not accurate and showed up hours after the designated window had ended. Traffic and previous moves going overtime should be accounted for in the window of time they give. I called the office and the person was not apologetic and refused to offer me any sort of discount for my movers being hours past their window had ended. read more

Please don't use this company. They use contract movers who have little experience moving furniture. Although the 2 gentlemen that moved me were polite, one of the guys was hurt and was not much help. Due to their lack of experience, the move took 6 hours. I was very organized, all boxes were in the garage, it was a 913 sq ft apt, the only items left were pieces of furniture that I could not carry. The movers broke my new headboard, which he reported to his boss. A chair was broken and there was damage to walls in the apartment. This move took place on July 3rd. I have been more than patient waiting for the company to resolve the claim of damaged furniture. No results, won't return my calls, etc. My BAD for ever paying them until the claims were resolved! read more

Unfortunately, I purchased a groupon and once booking my move they added extra fees which did not fall under the policy as described on the groupon. Clearly says valid within 35 miles from zipcode 79701 any extra will have a travel fee. I was 17miles away and still tried to add $95 travel fee.
