I came in here yesterday to get the bracelet of a watch replaced with a NATO strap. They quoted me $15 for it and said it shouldn't take more than a half hour. After waiting for that half hour, the employed told me it wasn't possible to do what I wanted with that watch and luckily didn't charge me for it. Today, I went to a different watch repair shop to get a second opinion and they were able to do it in two minutes--for free. I can't even blame the poor employee who didn't know how to do it, it's very clear to me that management of this shop doesn't hire people who know their way around watches or even bother to properly train them to do it. Horrible experience. Year ago i went on this location to change battery on my Michelle watch. I paid almost $100 to get warranty for 5 years on battery. Today i went again to replace the same watch battery in order for them to tell me that it was a deferent serial number in the system for another Michelle watch.Needless to say that i own only one Michelle watch. Was told if I didn't ask them to pressure test it they weren't responsible! Now I have a $125 dollar hunk of rusted metal! I came in to get a bracelet clasp fixed and to have it sized down. Took about two weeks. Came back and everything looked great, but they didn't give me the gold the cut off. First red flag I should've noticed. Well, the first red flag was how they completely ignored my grandmother and I until she spoke up, but I digress. My grandmother mentions it being sized down and could we get the gold back. We'd have to pay for it. In my head that just means they already used it (come to your own conclusions). Next case. It's less than six months later, the clasp they attached is fake, corroding and ugly. It snaps due to such trash quality. 3 Reasons NOT to shop here: 1) $87 for for a "high end" battery replacement! The same battery at Water & More in Mesa costs $25. Including tax. 2) Water & More will change out any "high end" battery within 15 minutes MAX. Here, I was told it would be an hour. Too long. 3) At Water & More I pull up right in front of the shop with a 10-20 foot walk. For "Fast" Fix I drove around the Santan mall for 10 minutes to find a nearby space. I wound up finding one about 200 plus YARDS away. Too much time wasted. And too overpriced. read more

Save your money and go to a watch store that will do it for a normal price. When we dropped off 3 watches and was quoted $20 to adjust band on my Citizen watch and replace a 377 battery in two Swatch watches. Both my daughter heard the woman quote $15 for the battery replacements. Last time I had them replaced was about 10 years ago at Time Wise Jewelers in San Diego and it cost around $8 each, i had 5 watches done at that time so it sounded about right. When I picked up the watches, she said the total was $149, and my daughter and I both did a double take. $59.95 each for a battery to be installed is outrageous. The woman's response to the cost was "Swatch isn't making parts anymore" the battery is a 377. They cost about $5 each. $50 labor each watch is outrageous. I don't mind paying $50 to size a citizen watch band that requires a little bit of skill for removing and reinstalling the pins. $50 to open a battery door is outrageous. Funny how reviews I saw from a month ago say the battery replacement was about half what I was charged. read more

I took a high-end watch to The Santan Mall location to make the band fit my wrist a little better. The man working there (my receipt says TYLER BALDWIN is his name) was rude and condescending and snippy. He actually wrote what I took to mean "fake" watch on my receipt and told me to come back in 30 minutes. I did return to get my watch, and I asked him why he wrote that on my receipt. I truly wanted to know the answer. He cut me off and walked away, having the gall to call my watch fake and then walk away while spouting "I'm not a gemologist so don't ask my opinion because I don't really know," AFTER he already wrote his opinion on the receipt. I'm giving two stars instead of just one because he did make the watch fit my wrist better. But you can be sure I'll never return there, and you can be sure I'll tell everyone I know to avoid this place and the reasons why. The only thing you offer, Fast-Fix, is service. There are so many other nearby places that one can take one's watch for repair and service. If Baldwin is an employee, he CERTAINLY was not trained in dealing with the public. Maybe he knows how to work on watches, but he sure doesn't have a clue about dealing with the public. Also, everyone on Yelp, notice that the owner of this store doesn't care ONE BIT about complaints. You can see he/she has never responded to even one of the myriad of one-star reviews. read more

If you plan on using your watch in water or getting ANY water on it. No resolve in replacing the watch if it becomes damaged after they replace the battery. 1st time I thought my watch in FOD (Foreign Object Debris) ended up in the internals and wasn't offered to get it cleaned out. 2nd time I came in to warranty the watch battery I was told that there was no record since they were switching to a new system. Came in a 3rd time and they were able to find my record and warranty the battery. Stopped by to pick up the watch and there was FOD in it again, I asked one of the guys if he could clean it out, he was able to but after washing dishes a few weeks later with my watch on there's humidity in my watch 30min after. Jason said they don't have a pressure tester to test if it is sealed properly and they only add silicone if the gasket doesn't need to be replaced. I'm bringing it back 1 last time to see if they can resolve this. read more

They tell me that it's another $40 because each store is franchised and they are not able to access the records of the other stores. They even wrote the name of my watch down wrong and put "rock solid"'where the serial number should be. This place is dishonest, unethical and definitely has some shady business practices. I asked whether they'd text me when done but Jason Markus said he'd just come out to get me. I literally waited 35 minutes and kept looking at the inside of the store and wondering when they'd be done. Fast-Fix is my go-to place for all jewelry repairs and batteries for watches. I've been going to them for 4+ years and they're affordable and the staff is friendly. One time, the stone fell out of my engagement ring and they fixed the prong holding the stone in. On other occasions, I've had links removed from watches or new batteries installed. I've never had a bad experience. While there are fix-it stores closer to my home, I'll drive the extra 3 - 4 minutes to go to this store because they're dependable, reliable and consistent in their high quality work. This guy is awesome and honest. I took two items in for fixing. I didn't realize one of them was just bent and he straightened it and handed it back free of charge. The other he fixed for ten bucks. That piece had been in my jewelry box for two years not worn and for ten bucks I get to enjoy wearing it again. I should have done it a long time ago. Now when I have something that needs to be fixed I throw it in my purse and then when I end up at the mall I drop by, easy peasy. read more

Stay away. My wife took in some watches for me to have the batteries replaced. They charged an unreasonable amount 50.00 for a five dollar battery. Second they told my wife one watch needed the movement replaced and it would be 180.00. After my wife called me I told her not to do the work as the watch was only 125.00 new. After she came home I looked at the watch that needed the movement replaced and it was working just fine. So bottom line is they tried to rip us off I bought a tool kit on Amazon for 8.00 and will do my own maintenance. read more

I took my 18 inch box chain to be repaired. I have this length purposely so it lies directly under another necklace I wear with it. I went to pick it up and they tried to give me 24 inch chain that looks older. I showed pictures of me wearing my chain so they could see where it would lay on my chest. They didn't care. The jeweler it was purchased from sells it in 18 inch and can provide proof of what was purchased. They don't care. Apparently I stretched it to 24 inches when I broke it, only the links are not stretched. They are not trying to figure this out. Instead they shouted at me so ended up in an argument. I gave as good as I got. I was told the owner will call me when he gets around to it. Very unprofessional!!! I will never go here again and will go on social media and will tell whoever will listen about how disrespectful this place is. Still no response from the owner 1 week later! read more

Zero stars if possible. Young kid there named Shay. I work 12 hour days and stay later if more customers come in. I never decline business no matter what time it is. Finally got a chance to leave work at 820 pm. Called the store multiple times but no one would answer their phone. Arrived there at 850pm, and Shay said he was not willing to stay any later past 9pm to do any work since his ride was there to pick him up. I just needed some links taken off my new watch. Frustrated that he declined business, I asked who the owner was and he stated it was his grandfather and his uncle was the manager, so they would not care if he declined business. I hope uncle and grandfather are reading this.. And are good at math so that they can figure out how much missed revenue young Shay is costing them. You have lost a customer for life, and I dont understand his work ethic. If one of my employees declined a paying customer, id say find a new place of employment! read more
